He gave me solutions when other contractors told me to figure out an alternative (e.g. two previous contractors told me to buy a certain type of vanity based on the location of a pipe and John opened the wall and said, "Nope, I can move or reroute the pipe, there isn't any electrical or anything in the way that prevents it"). I have a handful of examples like that, and it made me realize that the others just wanted to do everything the easy way. He also found a potentially catastrophic problem under one of the showers that had previously been missed. On top of that, I really appreciated that he has an eye for little details - paint touch-ups, visual alignment, etc. Highly recommend.

We had a flood in our home in LaQuinta more than a year ago. We hired Flood Response to handle the clean up. They sold us on their experience working with insurance agencies. So we also hired them to handle the rebuild. THAT WAS A HORRIBLE MISTAKE! It's been more than 13 months and we are still not finished. While insurance delays are certainly to blame - this company did nothing but cause more headache. In January, I threatened to move the rebuild to another company. They promised to have the rebuild completed by Coachella (April). It's November now and our house is still not back together. The company has been completely incompetent all around. -- Unreliable - They changed our general contractor a few months into the project after he had done zero. They new one was equally awful. -- Non communicative - They promised to send us weekly update emails to inform us of progress - didn't happen. -- Lazy - They've had our personal belongings in storage for 13+ months now. Our insurance was slow on approving an repair inspection, but once it happened, Flood Response told them they had the wrong couch (they didn't). It's now been 4 months since that inspection and we still don't have a report on repair. They also sent the report to a completely different insurance claims company. -- Crooks - during the rebuild, one of our water heaters exploded. We had them quote the repair and it was 4x the price of another vendor. BEWARE! They are terrible with insurance. They might be find for remediating a flood. But DO NOT trust them with a rebuild.

Thank God my great contractor recommended me to Arizona tile. But you see , walking into their superstore, with all their selections, trying to decide between which type of stone and tile, etc., made me extremely overwhelmed and even more stressed! But then one of the sales designers atArizona tile, walked up with a big cheerful smile, and asked me the question that I most needed. She said, "how can I help you?" And help me she surely did! Not only was Debbie extremely knowledgeable about all the products and materials that Arizona tile carries, but she went above and beyond to ignore my ignorance about so much regarding the finishing processes of my showers and bathrooms and what I needed for my kitchen! Within 10 minutes of me showing her my blueprints and me trying to tell her what I was going for, it was like she was inside of my head already, knowing where to show me and how to direct me to the right places within the store. She answered every one of my 1 million questions with patience care and ultimate customer service! She treated my project like it was her own home. She went through my house plans all three bedrooms, all four bathrooms, some of which required special accommodations, like my steam room bathroom, and just made everything looks so easy as she helped me through the selection process! She is one of the kindest, most caring sales person I've ever encountered, in my 48 years. And that is not an exaggeration. I come from a background of home developers, and managed a large customer service department, but it's a whole different process when you're building a custom home yourself by yourself. There were ideas and suggestions that she offered that I would never have considered, until she presented them to me. Beyond her wonderful customer service, Arizona tile is also set up for the ease of the customer and they present a can-do attitude about everything you bring to their table. Debbie, I'm grateful for our "HOPE" connection, and even more grateful that Providence allowed me to have you as my designer. As you can obviously tell, I would recommend this place and especially Debbie, to anybody who is remodeling or building a home. I would have ran out of there too overwhelmed had it not been for Debbie. And It's night and day from trying to go to a big box store or even a smaller custom tile and stone retail store. And despite how busy she was every time I came in, she would spend some times up to two hours with me until everything was just right, and when we ran into a snag or a problem, she wouldn't stop until we had a resolution that was just perfect. Thank you, Debbie, for making me feel like I was always your only customer even though there were many other people who were in need of your assistance. You are not going to find a better team than this. Dan's team is exceptionally skilled, organized, respectful and most importantly FAST- and I wish I'd found them sooner! Full review: When our tenants called about a flood at our rental property in Palm Springs, I panicked and did what I thought was the "safe" move: I hired a big-name local flood response company with decent (but not amazing) reviews. Six days later, the house was somehow still damp. Progress felt slow, and even my insurance adjuster strongly suggested that I do my research when choosing the company to do the repairs once the house was actually dry. I knew I didn't want that first company doing the actual repairs. I turned to Yelp looking for someone who could move fast, work cleanly, and understand the insurance process; someone who could get the job done with attention to detail, given how much attention we'd put into our home initially, but somebody who could work super, super fast. I thought I'd message AVA Flood Restoration and just get a second opinion on how the drying was going. I was on my way out to dinner and Dan (the owner) said he could come over later that night. I was already impressed, but wanted to wait and see what he'd say. Dan came over right at 9pm as promised. He told me that for a house of our size it simply didn't have the right amount of dryers, and that the house should have already been dry given it had been six days. He told me he had a team ready to go that night if needed, but that either way, he could assure me he could work with speed and attention to detail, and had experience with other homes where design was a key element. I slept on it, and the next morning, fired the other company and hired Dan. He took over from the other company right away, brought in about double the number of dryers, and was candid that the prior team had cut corners. That transparency was a huge deal because at that point I just wanted the truth and a clear plan. He handled explaining what had happened to my insurance company so insurance could just pay his team directly rather than me having to act as a middleman. From there, the pace and organization were night and day. Beyond drying, Dan's foreman, Kody, led the rebuild and he's genuinely skilled. New flooring, drywall, electrical and plumbing repairs, cabinets, paint... the whole scope. The crew was also incredibly consistent: they were there every day between 7-8am, and if I had questions they took the time to explain what was happening and why. The #1 reason I'd recommend Dan is communication. I'm a millennial, communication is everything to me. Dan is truly next-level. He responds to everything, is always a phone call away day or night, and he texts frequent updates so you're never left wondering what's going on. A lot of contractors say they communicate well. Dan actually does. Three weeks later, our house was back together and our tenants were back in, honestly better than ever. They made a pretty awful experience as good as it could have been - an enormous thank you to all of you: Dan, Kody, Mike, Derek - while we hope we never have a flood again, if we ever do need a contractor for other work, we absolutely know who to call. By contrast, our neighbors up the street had a similar pipe burst a year prior, and it took them six months to get back to normal dealing with other slower contractors who just didn't prioritize them. If you're dealing with flood damage and need someone who will show up, follow through, and move with urgency, Dan and AVA Flood Restoration are the real deal.

This company suppress my expectations by a wide margin. When hurricane Hilary struck on August 19, 2023, they arrive promptly with an knowledgeable crew, who knew exactly how to handle the restoration of my home. Griselda Eads, the owner, went above, and beyond, by personally reaching out to me after hours to offer support and guidance when I was feeling, overwhelmed. Her ability to bring laughter and positivity during such a challenging time helped me see a ray of sunlight amid the darkness. She understood the gravity of the situation my six children and I were facing, and she swiftly dispatch a team of expert to executed the restoration flawlessly. They dedicated weekends, and after our times, making multiple visits to ensure our house was not just secure, but also ready for the next steps. Griselda's exceptional communication skills were extraordinary and I am immensely grateful for her efforts. Specifically, he worked on the countertops, tile backsplash, and the custom build/installation of our range vent. Chad was incredibly helpful in coordinating the logistics; since this property is in a remote mountain location, we selected our countertop material in San Diego, he handled the sourcing and fabrication in Palm Springs, and then arranged the transport of everything up to the house himself. He is diligent in his attention to detail. The tile backsplash has every line straight, thoughtfully placed, and exactly where it should be. We asked him to come up with a custom build for the vent hood, and after showing him a few inspiration photos from the internet, he matched the vision perfectly. What was really helpful was that he asked questions at every stage to ensure he had our input and didn't assume any decisions. He was patient and professional whenever we were slow to make a few of them. For our project, Chad worked mostly as a one-man operation. This was fine by us, as there was never any guesswork about who would be on-site and he maintained direct accountability for the entire project, start to finish. It's rare to find that combination of technical skill and straightforward, clear communication, and we definitely look forward to working with him again.

Being an experienced homeowner, I requested the manager (Blake over all 911 Restoration) send a competent technician so it would be repaired correctly. Blake assured me the technician was highly skilled. Fortunately for me, I was in town and was able to see the poor work the technician did. The dehumidification equipment was set up inappropriately. The wet wood would have taken several more days (and several $100s more charged by 911 Restorations) to dry. The antifungal treatment was piss-poor. The tech literally did a few squirts of thyme oil, and he didn't even get the wet and dark areas, where the mold would be more likely to grow. Overall, very disappointed in the technician's skills and pissed off at myself for falling for Blake's charming nature. He is not honest. Beware.

The timely manner which they were able to fit me into their schedule considering I had out of town guests arriving soon I appreciated so much. So much care and time was placed into making sure everything was cleaned but also all of the pricing and work was explained to me. I didn't need it though because I saw how much work was put in and when I tell you IT'S A STEAL!! Highly recommend
