I gave my experience a 4 for "now" and it will continue to get to a 5 if my provider Celena Fine,…read moreP.A stays my PCP!! I am not one to bash a business or any medical providers. Hence, why I have never written a review to give a zero rating! As of September of 2025, I have been a patient of Celena Fine. Once again, my current provider up and left without notice and I was never notified! I was actually in desperate need of her care as I was in the ICU and the hospital staff had been trying to reach her. Upon discharge I had to make a follow up appt with a primary and I was scheduled with Celena. BEST CRACKER JACK BOX PRICE EVER!! Not only is MCHW the luckiest it's ever been to have found Celena, but so am I and I'm sure I can say this for all of her patients that now have been transferred to her. Plus, the office has a new aura and ambiance as well! They seem HAPPY with smiles and it has to be hearing Celena laugh all day! Her laugh is so contagious that I wish she could prescribe that because 30 min of hearing it, my pain is gone and my mood has shifted to reach the stars! Without going into a storybook of my health, Celena has taken time to get to know me as her patient and my super complicated health journey with such attention to detail that no other PCP has ever done for me. I've never felt rushed whether my appt is in person or over the phone and for the first time I can trust a Physician knowing that it's ok to let my guard down and hand over my worries because Celena literally has made me feel and see she has my best interest and loyalty in the palm of her hands. Thank you to Celena Fine for caring for me and thank you to the management for hiring her! Amanda Husby

I will say that MCHW has undergone a lot of positive changes in the last year that are making me…read morequite optimistic about the future, but my first several years with the practice were terrible. Doctors who would ask me for medical advice (I work in the field), cancel 8 months worth of appointments which they made me schedule to get a medication I've been on for 18 years, then told me I can't sue them bc of this or that, leadership that couldn't enact meaningful change, phone numbers that wouldn't work, telephone staff that would never pass the patient's message along to the provider, and at one point, a dismissive medical director who was probably a great administrator, but utterly lacking in bedside manner. No wonder the turnover was so high and the place was a mess. BUT, the one shining beacon in the medical department, the reason that I stayed, and I'm sure at least part of the reason the practice has made a massive turnaround to the positive, is PA Celina Fine. She is one of the best providers I've ever had, and I have had an army of them. Celina is kind, professional, clearly passionate about medicine as a practice and an art, and she always listens to the patient and makes them (or me, at least), feel heard, understood, cared for, and safe. And a lot of times, I feel that's as important and as positively influential on a patient's health and well being than a particular diagnosis. People want to be heard and taken seriously. It's as important to one's well being as anything else, imo. I never feel like she's trying to push me out the door, if she doesn't know something, she researches it. She comes in already having looked at your chart (that's how it should be, yet never is), she always follows through and follows up, she's invested, kind, and is great at connecting to the patients. She's also a patient teacher (when trainees have been with her in the room). Her bedside manner always puts a smile on my face, and I have severe medication resistant depression, so that's really saying something. She's the sort of provider you hope walks into your room, and I'm so happy she stayed on. Things started to improve after she started and I bet that's not a coincidence. Other positive things: Cassandra, who answers the phones, is an absolute delight. I always feel lucky when I get her on the phone. She gets things done, does what she says she will, is very professional, and simply has great, positive energy. Maya at the front desk (I think she's new) is also wonderful. Very personable, thorough, and kind. Something that has always been great, even when the medical side of things was a hot mess, was their behavioral health dept. Jamiyah is incredible. I absolutely love interacting with her. I bet if she worked in the medical dept, she would've fixed that place up years ago. I don't know what she gets paid, but that woman deserves a raise all day, every day. Emilia is a wonderful psychiatrist. You can tell she's so invested in your well being. She's kind, earnest, and very smart! My other doctors are often impressed with her knowledge of the newest pharmaceuticals as well as her extremely perceptive plans of action for her patient (me). I also simply enjoy talking to her. If I could talk to her every morning, I'd probably not need as many antidepressants! She's so encouraging and supportive, and if she were my guardian, I'd probably need a lot less therapy.... which brings me to Julie Morris, who is one of the best therapists I've ever had in my 15 years of therapy. She is simply awesome. She honestly makes life just a little more worthwhile. I'm very lucky to have found her. So, if anyone makes it this far: Celina Fine - 6 out of 5 stars Julie and Emilia - 6 out of 5 stars Cassandra, Jamiyah, Maya - 5.5 stars (though Jamiyah is prob 7/5 all on her own) General practice - now a solid 4 and climbing its way from a traumatic 0.5.

Mar Integrative is proving itself to be a cut above the rest, a true yoga clinic of authenticity where profound healing and growth for the body and spirit takes place. I have also taken a series of private yoga lessons with Angela, and her ability to truly see and understand me is unparalleled. Angela tailored a program for me that both nourished me and pushed me just to my edge so that profound transformation and healing could take place. She also helped me uncoil from a deeply traumatic experience through her practice of trauma-informed yoga. I witnessed my body shake while my mind peacefully observed the process from a safe and protected space. When the shaking was over, I could see that my body and mind had registered the trauma and I was finally able to move past an event that I had originally believed I could never overcome. Angela is an angel who possesses an innate ability to heal others through her yogic insight and elevated asana practice. A true gem.

She is so talented as a therapist but she's also highly skilled with guided meditation and hypnosis and I always found the sessions more and more interesting, deep, and helpful as time went on. She is incredibly sincere and loving but also a no bullshit therapist which I really appreciated! She became an invaluable guide along my path to having the life I always dreamed of having but couldn't quite pull it off. She helped me to recognize that I didn't need my ex, but was transferring fears of male abandonment from my father dying when I was young. To stop bemoaning what I don't have and focus on what I do have -- which is a lot. She's given me the confidence to find a great job with more responsibility and to cut off the negative elements in my life. And she even encouraged me to go to my first DYL, which is where I met all you wonderful people. (True, DYLs have not always been the scene of my prouder moments, but I've needed to let my hair down. And when I pick it back up again, she's not there to judge, but to help me examine why.) In the New Year, I have the opportunity of a lifetime, for me to continue development, to individuate, to explore. It's like I'm standing on the edge of a cliff and I can choose to either a) be pushed off, b) let it slowly erode over time and crumble, or c) take a swan dive and soar. I couldn't have taken any of these steps without her.

I liked Kay right off the bat! She's gives off a very calm and friendly vibe and is wonderful to talk too. I enjoyed our sessions a lot. Talking through my issues was nice and getting her take was helpful. The sessions were very relaxing as well. What I regret was not taking the audios seriously. I should have listened to them every day to get the benefit but I neglected that. I think that was why I didn't really think hypnosis was fully for me. It helped but not as much as I hoped. Forward to April 2020. I got infected with Covid in March and was dealing with many symptoms that would not go away. One of them was horrible acid reflux. I've had acid reflux in the past but this was 20x worse! Diet and medicine weren't helping and Kay texted me to check in with how I was doing (perfect timing!). I figured why not try hypnosis again and see. We had our session via FaceTime. I really liked doing it via FaceTime bc I could do it from the comfort of my couch or bed. No looking for parking or driving to SF. I stopped the medicine but continued to eat GERD friendly and listened to the audio we made 3x a day. My acid reflux went away! I just had to be diligent. I then developed another covid symptom a week or so later which was horrible headaches and nerve pain. I had another session with Kay and my symptoms improved. A couple of weeks later I stated having chest pains and heart palpitations, which is think was because I was too plugged into social media surrounding covid. My anxiety went through the roof. I could not stop being anxious. It was really really bad. My heart was racing so much all day. I had a session yesterday and I'm already feeling less anxious.
