Daniel Towing flatbed truck.

Wife's SUV broke down, fuel pump... Daniel Towing was quick to reply, and good on pricing. Didn't have to wait forever for him to show. Called at 8:30am agreed to meet him at 9:30am and was on time. Most companies over charge and show up whenever they can get around to you. Not Daniel Towing he understood my time matters and is valuable. I would recommend to anyone who is in need of towing, Call Daniel.

Awesome experience with Aziz. I scheduled through Yelp and set a time. He was at the location, picked up the vehicle and took it to the drop location very quickly. He followed all of the instructions and sent pictures once it was done. I was worried because you never know if these guys will follow the instructions and he nailed it and then some. I am very happy with this service, and his prices were better than everyone elses. Thank you Aziz, you did a stellar job!

2005 Corolla being loaded up to be taken for repairs

My niece's car all of a suddenly died without warning in her apartment complex parking lot. I took the battery out to have it checked and it was good. So, then I had to get the vehicle towed to my mechanics to have them look at it. Remembering how much it costed to get a vehicle out of the police inpound yard, I was not looking forward to paying a big bill. I researched Yelp and saw that Daniel Towing had very good reviews and people were happy with the price they paid. When I called they said that they could meet me at the apartment complex in about 1 hour, they did call me when the driver was 10 minutes away, so an hour to an hour and 15 minutes later, the tow truck pulls up and he checks the car out, pushes it back to get it loaded up, and take it 10 miles to my mechanic. The cost $98 a great price!!!

I now have this tow yard on recording admitting they will throw away my personal and medical…read morebelongings, including ultrasound images and ADA-protected medical documents, if I don't buy new car insurance for a car I'm not even keeping. Under Texas Occupations Code §2303, a tow company must allow the owner to retrieve personal property without requiring payment, insurance, or anything else. The fact that they openly refuse, and told me multiple times that my belongings will be "thrown away", is a direct violation of Texas law. I also have them recorded hanging up the moment "medical documents" were mentioned and refusing to speak further when asked to confirm their policy. They now send every number I call from straight to voicemail--which says a lot. I was calm, polite, and only asking for my baby items and my medical paperwork. Instead, they screamed at me, lied about the law, and repeatedly hung up. The owners have children of their own, yet showed zero compassion toward a pregnant woman just trying to retrieve ultrasounds and essential items. I will be forwarding the recordings and screenshots to the proper regulatory authorities. This business should not be allowed to treat people like this.

1 Star -- If I could give ZERO, I would. Banis Towing is a…read moremasterclass in how not to run a business. Let's start with the blatant fraud: the address listed is NOT where your vehicle is stored. After paying in full (with some shady upcharges that weren't mentioned anywhere beforehand), I was told to "walk 10 minutes down the street" to find my own car. Excuse me? This isn't a scavenger hunt -- this is a towing business. Or at least it's supposed to be. Customer service? Nonexistent. The front desk attitude ranged from annoyed to straight-up hostile, like I inconvenienced them by trying to get my own vehicle back. No answers, no updates, just blank stares and sarcasm. And let's not forget the wait time: even after I paid, I was left sitting around with zero urgency from staff. It felt like a punishment, not a transaction. Everything about this place feels like a trap -- predatory fees, misleading information, and a complete lack of accountability. If you're unfortunate enough to deal with Banis Towing, brace yourself for a frustrating, shady, and disrespectful experience. Avoid them at all costs. They shouldn't be in business, period. After posting bad review I got another rude messsge goes to show how unprofessional they are. I've never had to pay 6% up charge to use my card and what company does carry change forcing you to donate to the needy. Guy claims they need hour notice but a call at 4 arrive at 7 is 3 hours notice and they still move like they came off the short bus. Owner JB likes to send side message instead of speaking directly just pure pussy all the way around.

An Unexpected Joyride in the World of Towing…read more Let's be honest: no one "plans" to need an emergency tow truck. But if you're going to be stranded, stressed, or stuck in the unforgiving heat of San Antonio, you'd be lucky to end up in the hands of Alamo City Towing. My experience with this company was nothing short of exceptional--and not just "for a tow company," but by any standard of customer service. Take your pick... really any company should operate this way. After submitting a Yelp request, I received a response in what felt like mere seconds. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I'd summoned a towing sorcerer, Yelp was on point or just encountered a business that actually cares about being efficient in 2025 (I know rare like a blue steak - if ya know ya know). Within 30 minutes, they had picked up the vehicle in San Antonio and were already on their way to Boerne. The drop-off you ask? Smooth, fast, and dare I say--record-breaking. Throughout the whole process, communication was constant and not in an overbearing way, but in a "hey, we've got you covered" kind of way. I always knew where the vehicle was, what was happening, and when to expect each update. They gave me an instant quote over the phone before we agreed to anything, which matched the final charge exactly -- save for a modest $6 service fee because I used a credit card (which they explained clearly upfront). There were no hidden fees, no last-minute surprises, and no cryptic breakdown of charges. Professional? Absolutely. Efficient? Without question. Pleasant? Somehow.... yes. Here's the quirky part: if life ever throws you the kind of curveball where your car ends up immobile and your day feels like it's going off the rails, Alamo City Towing is the rare kind of company that can turn one of the more stressful chapters into something... almost enjoyable. Because when you're down on your luck, it helps to have a someone, anyone that can make a necessary evil like towing your broken vehicle to be more like the roadside rescue squad you didn't know you needed. Other companies take note. There is a competitor in town and they have set the bar really really high.

The drive was friendly and efficient at loading my vehicle up and professionally transporting it to it's destination. All the other businesses have yet to respond to my inquiry and Alamo City Towing already completed the job! Their prices were also verrry reasonable. I was expecting to pay almost double what they charged me. Highly recommend this company to anyone needing their services.
