Gary handles all of it and explains the issues if we have questions on the details. Gary's office staff is also very congenial and helpful. All appointments, phone calls, emails, etc. have been handled with timely professionalism. No surprises or excuses and I like that. I believe in having various "experts" to address life circumstances whatever they may be. In other words I have a "go to" person for medical, dental, legal, taxes, auto repair, etc. For taxes it's Gary Lynn Ward, CPA - heartily recommended!

I wasn't sure how to file a 1099 and just put it off.. then 2019 came around and then 2020.. I knew I needed to get those taxes filed. I was referred to Nancy at Tax Centers of America and she was great. I filed via email exchanges with her (thanks to COVID 19) and she made it very simple. It was actually nice to file from home. She let me know exactly what she needed, and what was missing and was very kind. She helped me with all kinds of write offs that I didn't even expect to be able to write off (did I mention I was clueless about business taxes??). She did a great job and it's clear she is passionate about helping her clients get the best result, and not just in the office to collect a paycheck. Definitely will return to her next year! Huge weight lifted off my shoulders getting that all squared away! Thank you so much Nancy!

I never received any kind of engagement letter outlining fees, etc. After putting in a ton of time and effort to get my S-corp set up, the CPA's assistant never ran payroll because she ran into an issue with my bank but never informed me. When I learned of this, she told me that she was very busy because it was tax season and said "Sweetie, if it was that stressful to you, you could have just done it yourself". By not running payroll, they caused me to be behind in submitting a W-2 to get an employer medical insurance plan which means that I will have to pay over $700 for another month of my individual plan.
