I would not recommend this company. They are disorganized at best. They advertise very low fees;…read morehowever, I learned after approximately 3 weeks that they charge by the hour (including emails) for anything above the tax preparation itself, which was never disclosed to me. I never received any kind of engagement letter outlining fees, etc. After putting in a ton of time and effort to get my S-corp set up, the CPA's assistant never ran payroll because she ran into an issue with my bank but never informed me. When I learned of this, she told me that she was very busy because it was tax season and said "Sweetie, if it was that stressful to you, you could have just done it yourself". By not running payroll, they caused me to be behind in submitting a W-2 to get an employer medical insurance plan which means that I will have to pay over $700 for another month of my individual plan. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Turns out that they all work remotely and there will not be a brick and mortar place where you can talk to someone. Had a zoom call with a person located in Tennessee who was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable. They reviewed past tax returns and were quick to provide a quote but then when I emailed for clarification several times I received no response. Felt like I could not hire a company where it was virtually impossible to get a timely response and that includes the individual who apparently owns the company and who after several days sent me an email but didn't respond to my response

This was definitely the WORST TAX EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD and I wish I had not read any of the 4…read more"good" reviews that were posted as they were in no way indicative of my experience! In over 30 years of using tax accountants, I have NEVER had an accountant refuse to sit down and go through my account with me, and I have NEVER been handed my return at pick-up time with absolutely no communication, no explanation, NOTHING! Not one word about the return or how things were handled, just a fat bill and a see ya later. This was so beyond unacceptable!!!!!!! I could have gone to H&RBlock and had way better service, way better communication, and for WAYYYYYY less money. This was just a mind-boggling horrible experience in every way and I would suggest you look ANYWHERE else for any tax help!!!!!!! I would seriously consider that the 4 reviews posted, for a company that has "been in business for decades" ???, may not be legit.

We had one there thinking we'd eventually move to Seattle but we got a house here in Tacoma as things panned out. So it just made sense to find one in town and in this case it's all but a few minutes from our house. The cost for Liberty Tax is much more reasonable and the convenience of not needing to make a business trip to Seattle when we would much rather have fun when we go up there helps too. Liberty Tax has done our taxes about four, maybe five years now and they have been great. They've been very accurate and thorough in the processing of our tax returns and go over our information with us in great detail. We will certainly continue using Liberty Tax as they have provided a great customer experience for us!
