Came to Dr Marinic over a year ago looking for complex dental implants on my front 4 teeth. Very sensitive subject for a woman under 30. Dr Marinic and his team were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They were very throughout and knowledgeable, explaining every step and making me a big part of the decision process. I am beyond satisfied with the results i got. My teeth look beautiful and natural. It's been 6 months since my final visit so I did wait to review to make sure no issues arised after but everything is still strong and solid. Dr. Marinec re-did my teeth about 20 years ago. Took about a year to complete. 4 Root canals, bridges, multiple crowns ... His work is impeccable. I still go to a new dentist these days they will comment on the excellent work done , astonished when they find out this was done 30 years ago. This practice is/was a complete fraud !! We were (me and my wife) a patient of Dr. Marinic between 2012-2014. I wanted a regular cleaning and he sent a huge bill to my insurance with all kinds of codes without doing any of those and not even discussing it with me. He did the same thing on my wife too. The practice was close by. Later I found out that he did the same with most patients and now he has sold his practice to someone else and has moved somewhere else in Evanston https://www.clearchoice.com/doctors/daniel-k-marinic/ to defraud other patients. He now pays others to write Google reviews on him. His character as a dentist is to defraud unsuspecting patients and the dental insurance company. Not to treat them and make them better. This guy is wolf in a sheep's clothing. Both him and his wife are a FRAUD. Buyer BEWARE !! He is a dangerous dentist to any patient if he does a procedure and thank God, that not all dentists are like him. read more

In fairness to Daniel Marinic and his staff, this occurred several years ago. I was looking for a new dentist and was referred to his office. Made an appointment for a cleaning and all went well. Shortly after that a bonded section of a front tooth came off. When I called the office for emergency help, their attitude was, since it isn't giving you pain, it isn't an emergency. NOT what I'd expect from any professional. When I insisted it was an emergency they hung up on me. I then received a letter saying they did not want to treat me in the future - humph, as if I'd let them. Oh, to cap it off, several months later I got a call reminding me it was time for a cleaning. The right hand obviously didn't know what the left had was doing. I've since found an excellent dentist, Dr. Kenneth Szurgot, on Clark St. in Chicago. read more

I found Dr. Marinic on line and being new to Evanston the reviews seemed ok. I needed 2 new crowns on molars. Dr. Marinac's wife insisted on full payment, several thousand dollars, up front for all of the work on each tooth. The first required a root canal. I was sent to a Dr. Bary. When I returned for the new crown fitting I was told the tooth was now cracked but that it wasn't urgent to make a decision on restoration or costly implants. The temporary crown would suffice in the meantime. Before any more work was done I moved from Illinois. I have been trying to get a refund for the work that was not completed and the work that wasn't even started for several weeks. Phone calls, emails have not been returned. The first time I reached her on the phone she said a refund is a big problem. She also said the insurance was denied for my initial cleaning and the crowns when in fact I had called the insurance company and they said there weren't any claims on file from Dr. Marinic's office. When I told her she was lying, that I called the insurance company she was silent. She then said she would discuss the matter with the dentist and call me back with a refund amount. I waited one week and then called more than once leaving messages with no return calls. Once I reached her she said she had the check ready but didn't have my new address! The check didn't arrive and after another two weeks and a call to my credit card company for help she called saying she just finished working up the refund amount. She was also sending a claim to the insurance company for the work completed asking them to send the covered amount to me. She stated she would issue a check and send it out that day. Nearly two weeks later I received a letter from the office telling me to sign and return it agreeing to the amount I am entitled to. The letter was returned to them via certified mail. The office was closed the day of attempted delivery, March 26. So a notice was left for them to pick it up at the post office. I tracked it several times and the letter is sitting at the Evanston post office, 10 days later. I have called the office but the answering device picks up. If not signed for it will be returned to me. I believe this office's practices to be wrong and unethical and will not recommend the practice. read more

Today's visit was for a regular cleaning and I was privileged to be taken care of by Dede, a true professional and an extraordinary person. Dr. Marinic's entire team promotes a feeling of care and respect while offering a comfortable environment where the patient is always the number one priority. The office is spotless and homey and calms any fright or doubt no matter what the reason for the visit. My husband and I visited Dr. Daniel Marinic using a Groupon. We were very hesitant to visit a new dentist blinded. We've both had bad dental experiences in the past. We were however positively surprised from beginning to end, so much so, that I'm inspired to write my first ever online review of any company. They were on time, professional, friendly, the facilities and instrumentation were state of the art and aesthetically pleasing. I've never had such a thorough dental examination, without feeling pressed for the business. The office was accessible (1/2 block walk from the Central stop of the Union Pacific North Line Metra station). Dr. Marinic and his staff have provided me with the best dental experiences of my life. Over the past 25+ years, I have received an enormous amount of dental work. Going to the dentist used to be something I would dread days (and sometimes weeks) in advance. However, since becoming a patient of Dr. Marinic, my viewpoint has evolved. The cleanliness of his office and professionalism of his staff is apparent from the moment you step inside. Not only does he utilize the most cutting edge technology available, he also explains everything he is doing. Every procedure (crown, filling, etc.) I've undergone has been pain free. I don't know exactly why, but having work done by Dr. Marinic actually makes me feel comfortable. Worst dentist EVER! After paying him over 80k for dental implants, had to have them all redone because they ALL fell off! Do yourself a favor and KEEP AWAY from him. Visited Dr. Marinic with a groupon after many years away from the dentist. Staff was fantastically nice. One member moved her car so I could fit in their small parking lot (there is additional metered street parking nearby). Hygienist was excellent. She explained everything she was doing, why, and what it would mean for the health of my teeth. Dr. Marinic met with me and similarly explained to me the how and why of his examination. In fact, using a TV screen and little video camera-wand he was also able to show me what he was looking at (my teeth). I like being informed. Dr. Marinic and staff employ the philosophy that patients educated about oral hygiene are more comfortable, happier, and healthier from head to toe. I agree. I went to Marinic to have my old crown replaced and to have a couple of teeth bonded. I must say I am pleased with the results. I love my new crown! He also has a good attitude and made me feel very comfortable because I have an intense fear of dentists. I highly recommend him if you want any cosmetic work done on your teeth. read more
