I had to keep going back in because the scans weren't right, or they needed adjustment. Then, finally after all of that I went back for a cleaning (more fool me). I was told I needed 4 X-rays and a scaling. I mentioned I had just had two X-rays on the right side for the crowns, so they let me slide and did just 2 more. Another $325 after 10 minutes of "scaling" and my teeth don't look or feel like they've been cleaned. Super nice people, not great dentist or hygienist. I used them because I had been there about 5 years before and the then-dentist was great, and it's close to my house. Never again.

Which they trying to sell and cost is $75.00 Per Person Per Month. I am with this Dentist more than 10 Years.

Charlotte, Your…read moreresponse is a non-substantive, template apology that carefully avoids addressing the actual misconduct described in my review. This was not a customer-service misunderstanding, nor a failure to "meet expectations." It was a confirmed appointment for routine preventive care that your practice unilaterally cancelled because I refused to consent to a deep cleaning and add-on services I neither requested nor authorized. Let me be very clear for the record: * I presented with no pain, no complaint, and no symptoms * I am an existing patient who received a standard cleaning at your practice six months prior * I explicitly refused non-emergency, elective procedures * In response, your practice withheld basic preventive care altogether At no time was I provided: * A documented periodontal diagnosis * Periodontal probing data * Objective clinical findings that would ethically or clinically justify denial of routine care Denying a patient access to basic preventive services unless they submit to higher-cost procedures is not "care and respect." It is coercive, ethically indefensible, and raises serious questions about whether treatment decisions are being driven by clinical necessity or revenue targets. Your invitation to move this discussion offline does not resolve the issue and will not alter the facts. Patients are entitled to transparency, not private damage control. If your practice truly "takes these concerns seriously," the appropriate response would be to publicly acknowledge that: 1. Patients have the right to refuse non-emergency treatment 2. Refusal of upsold services must not result in denial of basic care 3. Clinical recommendations must be supported by documented findings--not ultimatums Until such acknowledgment occurs, your response serves only to confirm the concern raised in my original review: this practice prioritizes upselling over patient autonomy. Prospective patients should take note. -- Dr. Hamdi Ibrahim

Just professional people doing great work. Can't recommend this office enough! Like too many people, I used to fear dental work/dentist visits and I avoided going because of that fear of pain/fear of judgment. This office has changed that, and I'm grateful for their top-notch staff. I rarely leave reviews, but this one is very much so warranted.

Dr. Dipiazza never introduced himself when he walked into the room where I was seated, I was trying to explain my emergency but he ignored me. He looked at the X-ray and a quick look at my tooth. He spoke to the assistant in a demeaning manner the whole time. I asked him a question to which he scoffed and left the room without saying goodbye. I wasn't sure if I was done and should leave. I asked the assistant if he was normally this mean, she was reluctant to answer but did say he was stressed with the patient in the next room. I mentioned the back office experience to the receptionist and was told again that he was stressed. When I mentioned that my tooth felt sharp, she said he could possibly file it down but to "hurry up before she (the assistant) cleans the room" that I had just come out of. Feeling like an inconvenience, I just left with a hole in my tooth frustrated. I ended up going to Walgreens to buy putty for my tooth and filled it myself. The receptionist defended the dentist and was overcompensating for his poor behavior. To me there is no excuse. Dentists should be used to stressful, complicated dental procedures. NEW (emergency) patients shouldn't have to get a negative reception for any reason. I cancelled my next appointment and received a call the same day letting me know my bill had been reduced. As if that was the reason, even though I voiced my concern about his demeanor while there. No thanks, I found a "normal" dentist who actually shook my hand, sat down and explained my options. Oh, and he also had another patient in the next room but he took the time to see me and make me feel comfortable. Gave me props on my self putty fill, too! The staff is amazing also!!

Avoid going here at all costs…read more I have been coming to see Dr. Rudman for well over 10+ years. My 9-year old son has been seeing her since he was around four years old. And most recently, my husband has been a patient here for two years, since retiring as an Officer from the military. I have never really had any problems with Dr. Rudman other than her being very short and not overly friendly, which I was willing to overlook. During a recent visit I had heard Dr. Rudman yell at a little girl for talking too loudly in the office. I thought it was a little harsh, but again I was willing to overlook it. Now I realize I should have paid more attention. My son had a filling put in this last year, and while flossing his teeth one night the filling broke off his tooth causing him some pain. I made an appointment for him to see Dr. Rudman to look at the tooth to see what needed to be done, and also to look at another tooth that is coming in the wrong place. She wanted to pull the tooth without even discussing it with me (I honestly thought she would just redo the filling), but my son was not mentally prepared to have it done that day. While we were discussing what to do, Dr. Rudman just got up and walked off with saying anything to us. Strange, but again I didn't think much of it. I was ok with him coming back another day to have the extraction done since it is a molar and I knew it might be somewhat painful because it wasn't even loose. We went ahead and scheduled to come in another day to have it removed. When back at the office for the extraction, my son went back with the hygienist and my husband and I stayed in the waiting room. I made sure to mention to the hygienist that my son was very nervous and is terrified of needles. She assured me everything would be fine. Dr. Rudman popped into the front desk area and when she saw my husband and I she didn't even acknowledge us. My husband mentioned that she looked upset, but I figured she was just busy. A few minutes later I heard my son crying and then he came out by himself crying to the reception area. I took him back and tried to calm him. He was visibly upset and kept spitting out blood. All the hygienist would say is that he wouldn't listen to what she told him. I had no idea at this point what was going on. After a couple of minutes he told me that he had seen the needle and got scared. He calmed down quickly and Dr. Rudman came back to do the extraction. She never spoke to my son or myself about what to expect and so when she started the procedure he said he could feel it. (Apparently this is normal to be able to feel pressure during an extraction but no one told us this.) She immediately grabbed the needle without saying anything to him and went to give him another shot. She never once asked him how he was feeling or tried to explain what she was doing. He put his hands up when he saw the needle and said "wait". That's when Dr. Rudman looked at the hygienist and told her to send him to "peds", meaning a pediatric dentist. She got up and stormed off without ever saying anything to me or my son. We were baffled and had no idea what was happening. My son had a large amount of blood coming out of his mouth from where she had started the extraction and she just got up and walked off. It was the most bizarre and unprofessional thing I've ever seen. We had no idea what was going on and I had to ask the hygienist what she had done to him and if she was going to come back. After the initial shock, I realized that she got very angry when he had asked her to "wait", and basically had a tantrum and stormed off. The hygienist wouldn't even look at us, I couldn't tell is she was embarrassed or afraid. The hygienist began looking for a referral for a pediatric dentist but I told her that we were capable of finding our own. I asked her if Dr. Rudman likes children, because it was very evident from her behavior that she doesn't, and all she said was that she doesn't like being told "no". I then asked her to cancel our upcoming cleanings we had scheduled for our family for the end of October and November, that we would not be coming back. All she kept saying is "I'm sorry". My son was left with bleeding and bruising in his mouth and was in a terrible amount of pain from where she had started the procedure. I'm sure he will be left traumatized from this experience and I hope that no other children have to go through something like this. I understand if she doesn't like kids, but why on earth would you agree to see them and then react in such a horrible and unprofessional manner when they actually act like a child. If you don't like them, then change your practice to only adults so that other kids don't have this same experience. I am also filing a complaint with the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Board of Dentistry in the hopes that this behavior doesn't reoccur.
