I was trying to get air for my car but had to wait for 4 people to pump their gas before I was able to get to the other side. There was no way to simply just leave because cars where starting to pile up behind me When I finally got to the other side, I got air and then went inside to buy a drink. I told the attendant that the truck should not park there if anything he should of backed up from the other side so that he only blocked one lane... The attendant says ``You tell the truck driver that``........ I was so offended.... I told him "you tell him that, thats your job...... and I shut up after that because obviously he doesn't care.... To escalate the situation when driver came back in, He tells the driver that Im complaining about where he parked...... The driver walks right up to my face and starts complaining to me how "Your in a car, I'm Trying to move stuff inside do you not see. You where not here when I arrived you do not know" and kept going and going......... Yes... Unprofessionally all up in my face. As hes talking I said Im not going to argue and stepped back because he was in my face.... and I said Im going to go make a complaint, The attendant says "GO AHEAD" I walked back to my car all angry all because I opened my Big mouth to speak for all the other people who got stuck in this situation. I called Shell Complaints... waited 20mins to get somebody on the line just for somebody to pick up and say "give me your number we will have to call you back" and she did not want to hear what happened at ALL... Kept going Sir... Sir.. Sir... to shut me up..... That got me even more angry, I understand that you have to get somebody to call me back but this is the compliant line, You should at least hear out what happened. That got me all angry and I said Im going to have to put this up on Soical Media and Facebook.... She said GO ahead.... and Hung up...... GREAT SHELL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WILL NEVER GO TO A SHELL AGAIN AND I WILL MAKE SURE THIS STORY GOES OUT If the attendant just shut up after I did..... There would be no problem.... All I did was say a few words and got myself into a huge argument. Yes... With lots of customers everywhere.... They all heard what happened... In the store, the focus is on cold drinks, auto accessories and thing like hats & gloves - not much snacks or grocery items compared to bigger Shell or Esso. However they do always have Sesame Snaps in stock - sometimes this is the only place within 5 km of my building where I can find Sesame Snaps at night! They also carry cheap, effective old school auto glass products Rain Vision & NeverFog which a lot of big gas stations don't sell anymore. Washroom is very basic but never nasty and it's always open. Note that at last check, Ultramar is not listed as a Top Tier gas seller. I'm not sure if this is due to not meeting the voluntary Top Tier standard for purity & detergency - though more likely not wanting to pay the costs of participating. Either way, just to be on the safe side I wouldn't suggest using Ultramar on a frequent basis if you have BMW, Audi or VW or any recent car with Direct Inection and/or Turbo technology (( though ironically you WOULD come here to get top-off oil for those cars because they sell synthetic Total in a wide range of grades you wouldn't find at most gas stations...)) Also note this station is built on somewhat of a raised mound, the driveways have a steep angle which can make for rough entry/exit for cars with regular or lower round clearance. If you're not driving a SUV or truck, you should take the entrances slowly & diagonally.

The process is a breeze because you never have to get out of your car.
