The thing that always bothered me was I always felt like they were over charging me. Today I went in and bought 6 donuts, 4 glazed at $1.00 ea. and 1 cinnamon roll, 1 filled bar at $1.95 ea. I come upright $7.90 plus tax. I got charged $11.44 after tax. When I asked why it was over $3.00 more than it should be, I was told I got a half dozen donuts. A half dozen large donuts. I didn't get large donuts again I got 4 small a 2 large $3.00 less. She took the box back and gave me back $11.00 and walked. I asked to help me and bought 4 small donuts payed for it and then bought the 2 large donuts and payed for them and it was $7.90 with out the tax.Some of you may say it's only $3.00 but its more than that don't forget the $2.00 tip. Also how many people are they overcharging each day. I believe they know people are in a hurry and they know they can get away with it. I promise I will never go back. The shop was recently purchased - formerly Yummy"s, now simply called Glazed Donuts. We enjoyed watching the glazing process as we waited for our turn at the counter. They are making some donut magic. The cinnamon roll was out of this world - so soft and plenty of cinnamon kick! Perfectly balanced glaze. The croissant sandwich (sausage egg and cheese) was buttery and flaky. Love that they have child size kolaches (sausage rolls) - made it easier to have a savory treat with the sweet donuts. At one point a couple of firefighters came in and P made sure they received complimentary breakfast and a gracious thank you for the service they provide.
