When we looked at signing our daughter up for dance, we looked around at other studios in the area, including studios owned by family, but we didn't get that welcoming feeling and we didn't see the same technique and skill that N-Step provides. N-step has helped our daughter come out of her shell, she has grown and has become more outgoing even outside of the studio. The owner (Shanna) and her staff are amazing. Shanna does everything she can to make the dancers and their families feel welcome, safe and comfortable. A number of the dancers look at the studio as their safe place, they know that they can go there to be around people that will help them feel safe, help them grow and keep their spirts up. I have personally witnessed Shanna bend over backwards to help dancers and their families, without expecting anything in return. Not only has our daughter made many great friends, but us as parents have meet many great people and made great friendships.

I was told they didn't offer that until age 8, only to find out when we were there that they DO have a hip hop class for that age group, but it's for boys only. When I walked in, the owner was not very friendly. The entire establishment was completely unorganized. I called the owner shortly after leaving asking about the hip hop class, not understanding why the boys can do ballet, tap and jazz, but why my daughter couldn't join the hip hop class. I understand it is her establishment and she can do what she pleases with it. But I, personally found it very sexist. She was rude, unprofessional and dismissive. Needless to say my daughter will not be attending the dance classes.

The participants learn how to grow past their limits and establish habits that will serve them in their education, career, and personal relationships. They learn both academically and viscerally what it takes to make impossible things possible. We run long term programs that last anywhere from one month to three months to year round. We also teach short term master classes and workshops with an understanding that you must develop discipline and focus beyond the workshop over the course of months. To Whom It May Concern, which is any and all who are even THINKING about getting a membership here. Just don't. Go the other way, find another gym. DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. TIME. This institution does not properly train their employees on their policies and what they can and cannot do. Their system does not work properly and will charge you a cancellation fee even though your past the 6 month cancellation fee policy. Don't try and call customer service because they won't answer and they won't call you back. OH AND THEY WONT REFUND YOU THE MONEY THEY ARE ROBBING FROM YOU. You'll go in and ask the girl at the front desk to cancel your membership. She will say "oh sure I can get that done for you." Even though she has no power to cancel memberships. But your app will immediately stop working and they will CONTINUE to charge you and WILL NOT REFUND YOU for services and benefits you couldn't even use if you wanted to. But they will charge you for them! Incase you would like some back story, here it is! My husband and I began our memberships with VASA Fitness on March 31st, 2024. After welcoming our second child in November 2023, we were eager to prioritize our health and wellness. However, by March 2025, a major life transition--relocating--significantly impacted our financial and time commitments. As a result, we made the decision to cancel our memberships. According to VASA's cancellation policy, a fee applies only if cancellation occurs before the six-month mark. We were well beyond that threshold--12 months into our membership--so we should not have been subject to any cancellation fees. Upon calling to cancel, we were instructed to do so through the VASA app. Unfortunately, the app attempted to charge us the early cancellation fee meant for those within the first six months. To resolve this, my husband visited the Tooele location in person. A staff member there assured him the memberships were canceled, and we were subsequently unable to log into our accounts--further indicating that the cancellation had been processed. Despite this, in April 2025, we were charged $29.48 by Paramount Acceptance and $26.49 by VASA--a total of $55.97. Then in May, we were hit with two more charges, totaling $163.19: one for $83.09 and another for $80.10. Not only are we still being charged after cancellation, but the amounts are inexplicably increasing. When my husband contacted VASA customer service, the supervisor he spoke with stated that gym locations do not have the authority to cancel memberships--despite our prior experience--and claimed there were no records of our cancellation attempts. She also mentioned that only a partial refund of $106 could be offered. This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. We followed the instructions provided by your staff and acted in good faith. The lack of internal communication and follow-through on VASA's part has resulted in unauthorized charges and unnecessary stress for our family. I am requesting a full refund of all charges made after our initial cancellation attempt and a formal confirmation that our memberships are indeed canceled. The responsibility for this error lies with the company, not with us. VASA IS A CROCK AND A SHAM OF A COMPANY
