My then-fiance and I got a living social deal for a fully month of unlimited dance classes for $25…read more We went for the ballroom/cruise classes together, and I took the salsarobics alone. Classes were fun, instruction was good in the ballroom, and the salsarobics were good for people who, like me, are not very active generally, but didnt really teach any dance moves. The group lessons are at the Knights of Columbus, private lessons might be held there as well, but wedding dance lessons were generally held in a small studio in Roberto's own home. We decided to sign up with Roberto for a trial solo dance class, to see if we liked him to choreograph our wedding dance. We decided to go for it, and we are really glad we did. The dance he customized for us went perfectly with our music, was beautiful to look at, made our guests cheer, and made us feel really good about ourselves. The instruction was exactly what we needed, Roberto made sure we had all our moves down 100%, and the package was very reasonable. I am not an easy person to please, I am less easy to teach, I have two left feet AND I cant follow a beat, and still I felt our dance was much more elaborate, and went much smoother than that of some of our friends who went to other dance instructors for a longer period of time ( and, I think, a higher cost). Couldn't be more pleased!

As a student of the Maywood Dance Center for 15+ years and now a teacher, I pride myself in feeling…read morea sense of family between students, fellow teachers, and especially Ms. Debbie. Ms. Debbie's unconditional compassion, love, support, dedication, time, and effort shows through each class that passes through the studio, and most importantly through our recital weekend. With another recital weekend behind us, it is evident that Ms. Debbie goes above and beyond what is expected in order to make this show a success. Despite having to run around and delegate a thousand responsibilities, resolve issues, and make sure every child remains safe, she somehow stills finds time to help with the little things like moving a prop off stage or helping someone do their hair before performing. I can't imagine many owners doing the same if "all they care about is taking your money." One thing that continues to inspire me about Ms. Debbie is her strength. She is not one to easily pass off responsibilities because she wants to ensure that every aspect of recital weekend (and throughout the year) runs smoothly and as fair as possible. Taking on the challenge of this chaotic weekend and the months of preparation leading up to it is no easy task!! Lastly, Ms. Debbie is so well-loved; she graciously passes on her passion for dance to every student she encounters. I am always in awe by how many students come up to her on a daily basis saying that they miss her and love her. Some of these students she has never even had before! That is the loving energy that Ms. Debbie gives off; I don't know about you, but that is something that is not so easy to come across today. A simple "thank you" is never enough to show how much the teachers, staff, students, and Ms. Debbie have shaped me into the person I am today. Even more special than that, Ms. Debbie gave me a dance studio that I can call "home."

While other studios are driven by greed and how many gigantic trophies they can accumulate, Ms. Debbie has always put the dance education of her students first and foremost and does not settle for anything less than that from her staff. Her preschool D.R.E.A.M. program is the best. No one is better with the babies than Ms. Debbie!

Same classes are offered during week and on the weekend, so easy to do makeup classes by attending the alternative class. Tuition fees are very decent, way cheaper than some of the places we tried before. Registration and monthly tuition, all of it can be managed through website. They are also very helpful in person with any question or concern. I have been very pleased taking my daughter here for her classes over a year now.
