The studios are HUGE and have everything you need - curtains, mirrors, bathrooms/changing areas, chairs, big fans to keep the place cool, audio equipment and anything else you could think of. Bill was very helpful and welcoming, and it's all crazy affordable. Can't wait to come back! Thank you, Studio A Dance, and Happy Fourth of July!

Okay, first the good: the studio is super cute. It's such a cozy and welcoming space with greenery…read moreand a little water fountain in the corridor outside the class-rooms. There are two rooms, which is nice, and one has beautiful wooden flooring, which seems well-maintained and makes for a lovely space. I took a beginner ballet class that was amazing. It's probably the first adult ballet class I've taken where the teacher was not just encouraging, but also seemed to take adult dancers seriously. I felt safe with her corrections and she seemed incredibly knowledgeable about the craft. The students in this class were kinder and more laid back than some of the other studios I've tried out so far, so totally loved the beginner ballet class here because it seems to be community-oriented. I'm only knocking off stars because the studio is HOT, and not in a sexy way. I thought I would collapse from the heat inside that room. It wasn't just hot; it was sticky and humid in there, which is not something I have ever experienced before. There are fans in the studio, but they don't do much to help with cooling down the space. Other dancers were just taking off clothes and walking outside to try to catch their breath. It's pretty remarkable how much hotter it gets inside the studio than even the weather outside, so that made me a little nervous about potentially returning during weeks when the weather is above 80-degrees. It's horrendous. I love Ballet and really enjoyed the class I took, but wish there was a way to cool the place down. Not sure how safe it is to do ballet or any form of physical activity there if you are heat-sensitive, so just be warned about that. It's very much an issue, especially during these months when the weather is 90+. That's a liability waiting to happen.

Ruts Dance Studio recently moved into a new location and the new space is honestly super awesome…read more They now have two studio rooms right next to each other which makes the whole place feel even bigger and more professional. The environment here is just really welcoming overall. The staff, instructors, and owners are all incredibly friendly and supportive. I recently joined their dance training team and I've genuinely been learning so much while also having an amazing time. The training pushes you to improve but still keeps things fun and motivating. One really cool thing about Ruts is that K-pop idols and industry dancers occasionally stop by the studio, which says a lot about how respected and well-known the studio is in the community. Also, if you've never taken a dance class before, don't be intimidated at all. The studio is definitely beginner friendly and the instructors do a great job creating an encouraging atmosphere for all levels. Whether you're trying to seriously improve or just dance for fun, this is a great place to be.

From the aesthetic to the instructors to the students themselves, this place has a welcoming atmosphere to all dance levels and I feel comfortable to explore dancing with all the different styles of dance they offer. Their social media presence is also great! They are constantly updating their social media (Instagram) with up to date info on each week's/day's classes such as the instructor or the song/combo they'll be teaching. The linked website is also relatively easy to use and it's pretty simple to register for classes. I mainly come for the Hip-Hop and Kpop classes they offer and I enjoy them a lot! Coming into the studio, they check you in and have you wait in the comfy waiting area before the class starts. The dance studio itself is pretty roomy and there's long mirrors up front. They also offer other dance studio spots at the property that you can rent out for private rehearsal or 1:1's. For rates it's usually $20-$25 for a 1 hour 30 min class depending on the instructor and what they're teaching. The classes usually take place from 6pm - 10:30pm (3 classes a night) during the week and another 3 classes from afternoon to night on Saturday's. For parking, it's street parking but I'd say it's relatively easy to find a spot nearby. If you're in LA, I'd definitely recommend hitting this place up for a class or 2!

Debut usually offers Kpop class series at different levels which can range from 2 weeks to a month. They also offer one day pop-up classes occasionally. You would need to reserve your spot at one of the classes online via their website. They also post what classes their teaching on Instagram and I like how they sometimes ask their students what Kpop songs they want to learn on there. Yireh, the owner and one of the instructors is great. I love taking her classes as she's super detailed and funny which makes the class enjoyable. The classes are shorter and pricier compared to other nearby dance studios, but what keeps me coming is the overall culture and vibe of this studio. Everyone is super nice and it's super friendly to all levels. The studio itself is nice and spacious. It is clean and well-maintained. YOUR SEARCH FOR A BALLET SCHOOL IS OVER. WELCOME TO BLISS. YOU HAVE FINALLY ARRIVED…read more We have searched far and wide for a ballet school and have come to the conclusion that Natalie and Ballet Conservatory West possesses the rare qualities that so many other ballet schools lack. Natalie takes the time to lay a solid foundation with proper technique and movement. Individual attention is given to each student with a focus on their unique body type, strength, and abilities. Natalie's knowledge about dance, anatomy, movement, musculature and other related areas are impressive. She leverages all of these to ensure that dancers are in proper alignment so they don't hurt themselves. She offers tenderness and grace in her instruction and builds rapport with each ballerina. She provides equitable treatment of each student, regardless of whether or not they aspire to be a professional ballerina. And personally speaking, one of the things I love most about Natalie is her personal charm and inner beauty. The tender, loving way that she engages and connects with children makes me melt. Secretly, I love sitting outside of their open-door classes, closing my eyes, and just listening...
