My experience with the teachers and students was quite nice. However, Racheal the owner of the…read morestudio is quite arrogant. She seems to think that she is super smart but she is not. After I paid for a month of unlimited classes Racheal came in on the day I would have taken my fifth lesson and in front of the class asked me if I was vaccinated. I didn't feel it was an appropriate question yet I told her the truth. I am not vaccinated. That was not something that I was asked when I joined. If unvaccinated folk were not welcome I should have been vetted much more thoroughly. I respect a business's right to determine if a mask is required or whether or not unvaccinated people are welcome. In my opinion each individual should have the right to determine whether or not they wish to be vaccinated. Miss mighty Racheal had the audacity to verbally berate me. She went on to verbally castigate me for not being vaccinated in a global pandemic. She refused to give me a refund and threatened me with the FBI and bragged about what a powerful attorney she is. Racheal does not have a Yoga spirit. She is not a smart business person. This would be a nice place if it were not for her. People of color beware-you may not be welcome here.

So I was hesitant to try a new studio since it seems every studio in the area is heated, competitive, fast, and not friendly for beginners/ those with injuries/disabilities. Wow, I was blown away by 3rd street!! This place is the real deal. Friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Calm atmosphere. Plenty of pose variations and prop modifications. Instructors teach beyond the poses and explain history of yoga, breathing exercises, etc. I love the quirky old building, super quaint. There's a reason this place has been in business for 20 years! Can't wait to go back.

They have two different rooms upstairs where the classes take place. Sometimes they have events in a bigger space downstairs. I've mostly taken Salsa classes there but they offer all sorts of styles: Casino Rueda, Bachata, Merengue, Belly Dancing, Tribal Belly Dancing, Kizomba, Zouk, Aerial Silks, Clogging, Line Dancing, Country Dancing, and more. They have classes for kids and adults. The environment is super friendly and welcoming. They make you feel at home right away. The drop in rate is $12 or $40 a month. In addition to group classes, they also offer private lesson, wedding and quinceañera dances, event venue and floor space rental. Being centrally located, they have students from Norman, Newcastle, Moore, Oklahoma City, Edmond and surrounding areas.

We have classes for adults, youth and children. We believe that music and dance can bring joy to everyday life, help with mild depression, help mend a broken heart, help people make friendship and love connections, help with physical fitness/weight loss, create a bond for parents & children, open minds to other cultures, and keep aging minds sharp and aging bodies agile. Learning to dance gives you a life skill that never expires. Couples who learn to dance together gain a whole new way to relate and communicate to each other. People who take dance classes gain a whole new realm of friends, social contacts, and business contacts. When was the last time you tried something for the first time?! It's never too late to try! See you on the dance floor!

I thought this was a flight of fancy. It was not she was very insistent. However I knew she needed to learn how to dance before taking on tap shoes. But as any parent, I was thrilled that my child was interested in an activity. I took to the Internet and gathered a handful of dance studios. VDC was the first and last stop on our list. They offer A sample class. After that breakfast class I knew my daughter was very interested. The school runs parallel to the school year. It begins in August and runs until June with a grand finale. They have a wide variety of classesFrom beginner to expert, from ballet to hip-hop and tap. The staff is very knowledgeable, patient, and has a very good way with the little dancers. I was not sure how a teacher would handle a room full of three-year-olds. There is a waiting area in the front where you watch you're a little dancer on a TV. This allows you to commiserate and socialize with the other parents. And it allows your child to pay attention, as much as they can, without the distraction of their parent. Classes can be billed monthly or by monthly. It includes the costume for the final recital, our recital book T-shirt and classes. The June recital was a lot of fun. And a great way to see how are you a little dancer can progress into other classes. VDC is a great community. My daughter really enjoys it. And I feel that she is having a good time and learning a variety of skills in class. I can't wait to see where VDC takes her.

Warning: This review is very one-sided...or one-third-ed???…read more Well in a sense that I can really only vouch for 1 of 3 fitness classes that this studio offers. I've only been to their Zumba classes but they do also offer classes in Krav Maga (Israeli self-defense) and Tae kwon do (Korean Karate). This was the first Zumba class I've ever taken and I really enjoyed it! If you like dancing this is a good way to work up a sweat while busting out to some upbeat music! And if you can't dance...then at least you'll learn some latin moves? There are two female instructors for the Zumba classes and both are very positive and energetic! The crowd has varied from night to night; sometimes you'll get a crowd of younger woman and other times there's an older group that comes. The steps aren't too hard to follow. The instructors are pretty good with showing you how to do each step and you repeat moves a lot within each song, you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly. Each class is an hour long and by the end you've gotten yourself a great workout! Especially if they used the Bhangra (Indian upbeat dance) music. Wow my arms were toned after that! I only wished they had a ballet mirror so I could see how uncoordinated I really look, but overall i love coming here to workout! P.S. They offer children AND adult Tae kwon do classes!! (the kids that come are super cute!) P.P.S. Sometimes they offer Groupon specials for their classes so keep a look-out if you're cheap like me! ;)

So I had to leave the state for a few months for work and when I return home I called this Dojo to redeem my discount 1 month but the manager or owner said just because I trained for 1 day which was free I could not use my coupon. I told him that has to be the worst and dumbest business practicing discussion I have ever heard or experience because he or his business would make far more money in the long run compared to saying no to a coupon only to try and make a few more dollars. I recommend no one use the business because they will eventually try and rip you off.

Adele, producer and accomplished dancer, always has a special group of guests to entertain and titilate your fancy. Adele likes feathers and they look good on her and you will be able to see a great deal of her behind the feathers. She will have a new costume to start every show and they will compliment her form and moves and your imagination - perhaps a silver wolf or a bird of paradise, always new and nice. Her guest performers are fun and provide a variety of special burlesque entertainment. Perhaps you like hula hoops, or a black wolf with all the moves, or a WWII soldier - you may have seen these outfits and many others on Ms Wolf's guests and they always come off to reveal the treasures that lay beneath. One of the highlights of every show is the gorgeous guest bellydancer, somehow managing to look exotic and beautiful, seemingly expending little or no effort, as she dances, glides, shimmies and teases. There is always a surprise at the Adele Wolf shows: perhaps Adele's mother will make another guest birthday or anniversary appearance; maybe she will think up another game of contestants taking the panties off the clothesline with, what else, their mouths; and always prizes that will have the guests in stitches. You will want to return to see who the next MC will be: a good looking fifth grade teacher or perhaps a cross dresser that will take your breath away, you never know. And, not last or least, there will be the tall person, dressed in black, quiet but the ever present Beaver! who does the hard stuff like pulling numbers out of a hat or holding the hat in a provocative way for another guest to draw the numbers. You will leave with a bit of wispy bit of smoke curling about your mind about who this dazzling auburn haired beauty really is. This is Adele Wolf's Burlesque, always fun, always a class act done with style and grace!
