After seeing photos on IG, I decided to give it a shot yesterday instead of driving 20 minutes to the nearest Smoothie King for a $5 32oz. I dashed over on my lunch break and was pleasantly surprised of how cute it was inside! I was in a hurry so I was relieved that I was the only customer in there. The employee at the counter was very dry. Not rude, just dry. She directed me to the menu and I immediately was overwhelmed. There was A LOT to choose from. I opted for the kale smoothie, which is one of my favorites. To my dismay, it took her almost 15 minutes to make. At one point she had to call someone to locate an ingredient she couldn't find. As I sat patiently waiting she finally finished and rung me up. Pretty much the worst kale smoothie I have ever tasted. It was so thick, I had trouble sucking it up through the straw. I will however go back and try another menu item as I want to give this place another shot. My colleagues at work have had better experiences when the owner is working. I always try to support local businesses. I am hoping next time I visit, they are faster, my smoothie tastes better and the customer service is more friendly!

Anyone heading to and from work could stop on by and get their daily workout. There seems to be more equipment at this location as far as bikes, and there appears to be more weight machines. However, the Stafford location has more space, a women's workout area (that I've only taken a glimpse of when I took my first tour of the place), higher stairs, more rooms, and an outside area. Either location, I'm sure the workout will be excellent with their top notch trainers. If you're in the area, stop by, speak to a trainer, and workout asap.

They've already changed staff a bit and now one of the gym managers is an inexperienced young lady. Not very strong with customer service and problem solving. I would suggest a more seasoned team member for difficult situations. Also note, they charge a $15 late fee beginning a day after the due date if payment is not received. No grace period and you will be turned around at the door if you have a balance. Other gyms would allow you to make a payment at a later date if not available at the time of check-in, but not at this particular location. Just a heads up. There was a huge misunderstanding with my account that unfortunately wasn't resolved by management at this location. I was able to get assistance from the front desk at the Humble location. I was told that there were other complaints with the manager, Lucy/Luci (sp?), at my original location. I knew I wasn't tripping lol There is going to be a sports bar opening soon in the same strip center, so I'm not sure how that will change the dynamics of the area and parking, etc. I do recommend a different location if you can.
