However, the universe brought me an opportunity to connect with Simply Reiki's, massage therapist, Angelica Torres, for a Sunday morning appointment. I had never experienced a Reiki treatment with massage therapy (I added the hot stones + aromatherapy) and OMG it was surreal! It was the quiet, physical healing that I needed in that moment of sitting with utter chaos in my nervous system. What also blew my mind was Angelica's intuitive gifts. I was not expecting that, but she read me like a book before she even laid hands on me, and without me telling her one word about what I was going through. Her presence was gentle, grounded, and comforting like a soothing balm. Her energy, and her words were incredibly powerful and validating and exactly what I needed to hear that day. She was put together with Mo who not only has an outstanding personality and sense of humor, he is excellent at his work.
