(There are plenty of dance teachers out there who are not.) This dance stuff is not easy to learn, particularly for guys who have the added burden of having to learn how to lead. They even sell ballet attire in the lobby where there is free tea for everyone to enjoy. The bathroom at the studio is always very clean. They have extra bobby pins and hair ties in the bathroom as well. Love that! So far I've attended about 4 ballet classes. The classes have helped me to improve my posture and walk for pageants. Kelly's ballet class will provide you with a great leg work out as well. As a teacher Kelly provides information on the history of ballet and speaks lots of French. I really enjoy the French. She also made comments about my daughter being in activites all I posted something on a mom group about how she wouldn't let who would be 3 not join a 3 year old class. Another dance school owner said she doesn't have kids the way she treated an innocent 2 yr old it's probably a good thing. Didn't come to the parents instead humiliated a child.

Now..... let me explain how amazing..... we did a 5 minute.....yes!!....!!!... FULL 5 minute choreographed dance to our wedding song. It took twice a week for a full 6 months. She is now 6 and is still enrolled at Encore. She loves it and so do my wife and I. The staff at Encore go above and beyond to ensure that their dancers develop the skill and confidence to perform, while doing it in a stress-free, fun atmosphere. This past Saturday, our daughter performed in her first dance competition. It was a group competition and her team took first place in their category. We do not even live in Kings Park and there are other dance studios closer to us, but we continue to go there because of the great experience they provide to both the dancers and parents.
