That's why we've loved this place for six years! Now, however, we will love this place for so many more. Now they are also teaching our non-English-speaking disabled daughter who has no dance experience at all. It was never even a question! They welcomed her with open arms and have already given her more joy than she has ever had before. This is a Christian studio with Christian values, and you won't find a better place for your kids.

The first half of the year is teaching technique to the dancers, with age-appropriate content. The teachers who designed the syllabus have an extensive amount of knowledge and consider the age and physical development of the children when writing the curriculum and really KNOW what they are doing. They are always positive and my children leave every class happy and proud of their achievements. The desk staff is so kind and helpful, always willing to help and answer questions. There is definitely a reason this business has been around since 1963! It truly is the best!

No, I don't owe you money. No, I have never used your dance services before. Unprofessional to not check which numbers you are calling and leaving voice mails on. Yes, your call was an inconvenience to me. It doesn't matter if you intentionally made a mistake or not. Because of your error, you interrupted a scheduled interview I had. Also, you left a voice mail on the wrong number with potentially private payment information about one of your customers. So, you not only should have called me to apologize for screwing up my phone interview with your absent-mindedness, you should call the customer to let them know you left their payment information on someone else's phone. But since you lack basic apology skills, of course you won't do that. Not sure how this lady is a business owner!

My 4-year-old daughter came home telling me that Ms. Pam told her she is "dark brown." I find it completely inappropriate for a dance instructor--especially in a class for such young children--to point out differences in skin tone. My daughter was the only African American child in the class and had never even noticed the difference between herself and the other girls until it was unnecessarily highlighted by the instructor. What saddens me even more is that this is a Christian dance class. One would hope that such a setting would promote love, kindness, and sensitivity--not behavior that could make a young child feel singled out. I reached out to Ms. Pam personally to express my concerns, but unfortunately, she never responded. My husband and I ultimately decided to remove our daughter from the class. I hope this feedback encourages the studio to provide more training for their instructors on how to interact with children in a respectful and inclusive manner.

I stepped out onto the porch to take a call for a minute and during that time, a stranger led my daughter into the bathroom and went in with her. It was another mom that did this, and I was just so shocked and disturbed that the teacher would just release the kids into a room of strangers. I'd actually witnessed this happen before with a kid whose mom dropped her off and left shortly after, but didn't expect it to happen while I was there.

It was exactly what I wanted, and as a service to the community, they're kindly offering their classes free twice a week on Zoom, during this time. Isha 'Boomerang' and 'Go Getta' teach two hour classes with beginners dances first, then more advanced dances in the second half. They're patient and good instructors, it's super fun and it's really good exercise. After the class, they send out an email with links to YouTube videos of the classes you learned, so you can practice at home. I just love it. I hope they continue to offer online classes once we're past this thing.
