The studio owner was beyond…read morepleasant, and I arrived to my private hours to see a yoga mat, stretching items, pole cleaner, and cleaner cloth already set out in the middle of the studio for me. She was even super helpful about the music and lights in the studio, providing me information about how to use both during my rental. She gave me privacy throughout the rental, but she was in the room next-door in case I needed anything. It's Tennessee, though, so it felt a little more humid than my usual home studios! Poles and floor are in great shape, and they easily swap with the quick-lock tech from X-Pole. Restroom was clean and easily accessible and stocked with band-aids and hair ties and other period products if needed. (I believe the restroom was up a stair, though, for accessibility purposes.) Parking lot is a little small and has seen better days; if you can choose between a compact car or a big-ass truck, your compact car will be able to better get back out of here. Great to see it has a private lot though. Beautiful, photogenic pole studio with a really friendly studio owner.

After her first class: "Mom it's so hard, there's so many steps and they go so fast!" Going from that to absolutely throwing down on stage at her first recital was amazing to see! I went here for three years taking piano and guitar lessons. Right before I joined I had this awful…read morepiano teacher. After begging my mon to quit she eventually stopped the dreaded lessons. My mom told me I should try someplace else. I was really speculative, but decided why not? Roots was awesome! I thought I hated music but it was just the teacher. They helped me learn how to love music. It's now my passion and I don't know where I'd be without them. Unfortunately I had to move and quit but I recommend anyone interested in music or dance go there.
