No parents allowed anywhere near the classes - the door is practically slammed in your face if you come near the door. This is our second year, and my daughter now "hates" her class and rarely enjoys it. All you hear from the classroom is yelling. :( She has learned very little in terms of technical skills, and at a recent festival the group practically wandered around the stage. It was terrible. The owner is a relatively nice lady, but her communication is terrible. It's either all or nothing. Emails almost every day about things that don't apply to your child, and missed emails that had important information but were sent to the wrong "group". She is terribly concerned with how the studio looks and makes you feel very unwelcome. I always leave frustrated and feeling "beneath" her. The staff all seem to be old students of hers with little technical skill. I have lost trust in this studio and will be seeking classes elsewhere for my daughter.

Although the dance…read moreteacher, Ms Lee is obese we decided to give her a chance, after all she's been doing this for many many years. As the classes commenced we found her to be very unprofessional ie: talking about other classes of students saying what 'Dummies' they were. Her words. As for her being able to demonstrate dance moves she was physically unable to. Relying on parents to demonstrate such moves that required going down on the floor and jumping up and back down to the floor. We also had a seeing impaired child enrolled who's mom decided her daughter was not ready to do the Christmas show on stage as Lee stated she would not be there to assist said child. Lee even made a joke in front of several of us about having one child almost fall off every performance saying the girl was ready. Really!!! Lee also wanted to keep our children for three hours back stage during the performances, assuring us she did so every year and would have toys etc. to entertain them. I arrived to find total chaos! No security regarding parents picking up and dropping off children and there were approximately 30 colouring pages, one box of crayons a half pillowcase of mega blocks to entertain over 50 children. Several people we knew walked into the 'secure' area with no questioning etc. anybody could have taken a child! Lee also attempted to physically remove a crying child from my arms. I said absolutely not until her mom comes. Lee actually stated that I was being over protective. It was just one big chaotic mess!!! The result was 6 of us parents withdrew our children which left her with 2 students for Wednesday morning 10 am class. Also note that her Resume' states she's done this or that training with so and so....FACT: she did one day or two day workshops with named people. Using the word trained with is misleading. Very UNsatisfied!!! That's all.

The free weight area is not big enough and I witnessed people ready to fight each other as the fly benches do not have enough space between each other. The smell of the mens washroom is sickening, and the urinal will not flush. The gym floor has lights burnt out everywhere. Come on management, lets get on the ball or get on the bus.
