We stopped in to Danaghers pub for a pint on a cold rainy day in Spring. The front room is very cozy. Just what you'd expect from a pub in 'Innishfree'. There was a coal fire burning to warm yourself by and a few locals and tourists came and went.
There is a kitchen but we only sampled the onion rings which were excellent. I personally believe if you make a good onion ring, the rest of your food is good too. I saw a couple with fish and chips which looked excellent.
When in Cong, I can recommend this as a place to stop in for a tea, coffee, G&T or beer. Maybe lunch too. You'll have to let me know. read more
