Unfortunately our experience here was not good. It's been a few years and I was frustrated so decided to wait on leaving a review. We had issues with billing that we never have had before or after with another dentist. My husband had a number of issues with the work that was done and went back because the crown wasn't seated correctly and continued to cause discomfort for months. We have since moved and today my husband went back to his prior dentist to find out that there was still a gap and that had caused infection and erosion under the crown that is now so severe that he will have to have an implant so I thought it was worth leaving a review since I chose that dentist based on Yelp reviews and can not recommend this dental office at this point. read more

CHARGED $2100 FOR A DEEP CLEANING AND XRAYS - this is WAY more than they should ever be charging!! My husband and i went to them for several years, because they are so close to our house (this is the only reason). However, when covid hit i didn't go to the dentist because both myself and my new baby were high risk the first year. By the time i went in, it had been about a year and a half since my last visit. They made a cleaning appointment for me knowing this. During that appointment I had to sit there for an hour and a half while the dentist tried to talk me into doing a deep cleaning & gum laster treatments. The only thing she was willing to do during this visit was take xrays. She told me a story about her sister's gum issues, which she stated i did NOT have, but that it could happen. She was quite aggressively trying to upsell me. I said I wasn't willing to do any of that and just wanted her to do the cleaning I was there for. She completely refused to do the cleaning, and forced me to come back for a deep cleaning with her tech/nurse. There was also no mention of any cavities when she looked at my xray. I then come in for the deep cleaning, because she refused to do the standard cleaning, and that meant two separate visits. The deep cleaning took less time than the past visit where she refused to do anything for me!!! I was also informed my wisdom tooth had a cavity. How did the actual dentist not see this?!?! Of course the nurse made an excuse for her, but that is ridiculous. They were not willing to fill the cavity, because they wanted me to go to a specialist to have it pulled since it was a wisdom tooth (not a big deal). However, once i got the bill for just a deep cleaning and one set of xrays they charged $2,100 for these services!! All dental coverage caps out at $1,500, which they would have known before doing any of this work, and never informed me of these crazy fees!!! I called to ask them how they could do this, and they said that they were shocked the insurance company was willing to pay out the full $1,500 and didn't negotiate the fees back at them. They basically admitted they overcharged insurance, assuming they would have to go back and fourth negotiating fees with them. Now, because of this, I had to pay out of pocket (almost $2,000) for my wisdom teeth to be removed. I have since found out that a deep cleaning should only cost around $300.00 they charged over a thousand. Now I was unable to do any additional cleanings for the year. Not only that i had to pay out of pocket for secondary dental insurance, for the wisdom teeth, and still paid additional out of pocket expenses. I will NEVER go to them again! read more

I got a referral to come here and I am glad I did. The entire staff was super friendly. I had a teeth cleaning only. It wasn't too painful. That hopefully means they did a good job being gentle! :) Only time will tell! They took pictures of my teeth, too. Perhaps that is a good way to keep track of the condition of my teeth but I haven't had that done before. I've only been there once but as I always say - service makes a huge deal on how customers perceive a business. My initial review was based on a checkup/cleaning followed by a relatively simple but necessary procedure involving work on my gums, and the repair of one chipped tooth. Shortly after I was unfortunately hit by a car while riding my bike, resulting in injuries including damage to two front teeth. I requested an emergency examination with Dr. Nina to have her assess the damage. She and her staff made room for me and quickly determined what had to be done when the rest of my injuries healed. Today, two weeks and one day after the accident, I went in to have the damaged teeth repaired. It was all done quickly, painlessly, with no visible reminders of the problem. I mention this to make the point that Dr. Nina and her staff are not just there for their patients when it's easy to be, but are as well when the patients really need help. At first glance, it may seem unbelievable that a dentist's office can receive so many 5-star reviews. But it isn't a lie, and I stand with all the other reviewers. When I first arrived at Dana Cosmo Dental, I was greeted by a great and caring staff. They wanted to know how I was, how they could make my accommodation more enjoyable, and didn't judge me for not seeing the dentist in years. I came in because I had a pocket in my gums. Food got trapped and it was causing me a ton of pain. They were quick to get me an appointment as I was travelling to Hawaii in a couple of weeks. It turned out that I would need to have a procedure done on my gums. Dr. Nina Zadeh was very confident in her ability to work on my problem and she made sure I was comfortable before continuing. Before the procedure started, she numbed me up very well and made sure no pain would reach me. It was successful, and 6 months after my procedure I'm happy to say that I'm pain free, and my gums have healed perfectly. They have two computer screens set up at every station that you can see in the photos, one for the staff and one for the patient. The screens are linked up, so every click and keyboard press they make, you can see. They're incredibly transparent and you can catch any mistakes they may have made because you're sitting a foot away from the screen. But isn't it re-assuring, a dentist who allows you to see where every one of your hard earned dollars is going? This is a great group of individuals. They care for you, nurture your teeth well, and consistently ask you if you feel any pain. The last dentist I went to didn't seem to have that many bed-side manners, but this one does. I would highly recommend, HIGHLY recommend, Dr. Nina Zadeh and her staff for any dental work anybody needs in the future. What can I say but, Dr. Nina Zadeh is mastered. I came in after a weekend birthday trip to Vegas for my 40th, left me missing a front tooth. (No really, I'm in the pictures at the top of this page.) I'd like to tell you some crazy story about how I did it on a bet, or was punched in the face defending my lady's honor, but I really just bit into a giant macadamia nuts, chocolate chip cookie broke the crown and the tooth it was attached to. I was left with what I thought was a permanent gap. Dr. Nina Z. promptly took me in and we went into a review of my options. After taking all DIGITAL x-rays, as well as HIGH DEF pictures (so we knew we were talking about the same thing in her consultation) of the problem areas, I decided to go with a 3 tooth bridge. In no time at all she had the rest of my tooth pulled, a temp made and fitted, and an order in for my new bridge. Which, looks fantastic!!! I would highly recommend Dana Cosmo Dental and Dr. Nina Zadeh for all your dental needs. The office is very nice, very clean, and state of the art. They are completely electronic with all forms you fill out and completely digital with x-rays and photos of affected areas. (I've never had that before and wow, is it easier!)
