I can't understand why there was no work done and I'm out $60 and a day. Previous work is still holding strong for what I can tell but some customer loyalty would have been appreciated. We had an appointment, and other transmission shops have said this is something I could change out on my own. I can't find a reason for the change in service but man, was there.

I had gotten an estimate at a chain auto repair place and was quoted $2300. I was told I needed the oil filter housing replaced. Rich looked it over and said that less experienced mechanics may go "by the book" because they do not know all the tricks a more experienced mechanic may know. After looking over the truck, he said all that was needed was the "O" ring that is between the housing and engine. It has now been over 2 months and not a drop of oil has appeared on my garage floor. Along with the o-ring repair, there was a leak in the power steering hose which was replaced. Rich also secured my heat shields which produced an annoying rattle. After all the repairs, along with pick up and deliver (since it was the beginning of the virus scare), my total came to a little over $325!!!
