Cheap gas and open late!…read more This is my go-to spot to fill up gas when I'm in the Rockville area. I like the Liberty brand because the credit card price and cash price are the same (none of the misleading cheap cash price being advertised only to see the credit card markup that other gas stations do). Many times, I've needed to get gas late at night, and I've found the pumps at those brand name big company gas stations to be turned off and closed (which is frustrating because people need gas at all hours of the day, not just during business hours). I was pleasantly surprised to find that this Liberty gas station was still open after midnight. Yes, turning into or out of the gas station can get congested during peak driving times, but for the price and convenience, it's well worth it.

I have driven pass this gas station on…read moreseveral occasions and always wondered why/how are its gas prices so low compared to other places. For instance (as of the week of Jan 20, 2025), Liberty's regular is $3.099 while other places are charging $3.25+. Since my gas tank pretty much was below empty, I decided to give Liberty a shot. What do I have to lose....besides messing up my car? The process is pretty straightforward forward like any other gas station. I would recommend stopping by during off hours because this gas station is very popular due to its low prices. Sometimes, this can lead to a very cluttered situation in terms of entering and leaving the gas station especially since it share a parking lot with a 7/11 and a sandwich shop.

Seriously best deal in town. They are pretty good at keeping their cash price exactly the same as the Freestate. There is an ATM inside but I have never used it. No perks. Don't need them. Just cheap gas and miles earned on my credit card. Thanks!

The credit card price is 5 cents above it but I get 3% off thanks to the Bank of America Cash rewards card so the credit option comes cheaper for me. Although I gave it 4 stars, I am afraid the price is the only thing that is appealing about this station. To start with the station has no roof above the pumps and any rainy day is a real torture. After being totally soaked two times, now I skip this station whenever there is a single drop of rain on my windshield. Other than that, it has a very small area and the pumps are designed in vertical fashion, rather than parallel lines, so incoming and outgoing traffic can get really messy. In compare to most other gas pumps, the pump is extremely slow. It takes so long to fill up and especially in adverse weather like freezing cold, wind or rain, that makes hell of a difference. I keep going there whenever the weather is fine and the station is not packed with cars that compete for a single spot. Otherwise, it is not worth the extra few cents...

Why is it always a production to get fuel at a Costco? I mean, no matter the time of day, you will…read morealways run into a line and possibly a problem when visiting one. I understand that it is one of the cheapest places to get fuel, but yikes, people must forget common sense when approaching the pumps. I was in need a fuel and making a Costco stop anyway. That is the only reason I got my fuel here or I would have stopped elsewhere. I pulled in and made my way to the pumps. That is after I made it through the gridlock in the parking lot. Wait my turn to get to a pump and finally get to one. When I got out I pulled out my membership card to scan it and for some reason it kept saying invalid scan or something along those lines. I then pull out my phone to pull up the app to try and scan it that way. I had to completely sign into the app again. Why couldn't it be easier? Finally pump my fuel and attempt to leave the pumps. I knew that I was heading inside to grab a few things and just decided to park my vehicle in one of the spots near the pumps. When I was done inside, I came back to get out of there. It was a nightmare and gridlock to get out of the spot. I feel that they could have positioned the island for fuel elsewhere on the lot so this wouldn't be so difficult to use.
