Stopped in here on Thursday evening to meet up with some friends as one was in from out of town. This place is five minutes from my home so it's super convenient (and they have a parking lot which is awesome!). Enjoyed a few cold beers and the Buffalo chicken fries. Some of the best wings in the city. Decent selection of beer. Golden Monkey is on tap here for $5! You can't beat that. Great bartenders. Very welcoming atmosphere. Decent pool tables to shoot on. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. They're a bar, they're pretending to be a pool hall. This is by far the best bar in the neighborhood. They have 30 some beers on tap and they constantly rotate. But, if you prefer your normal domestics, they have those as well. Because of that, the crowd is a nice mix, people of all ages, from all over. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their menu has a wide variety of options including, burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads, munchies, even pasta. I've tried alot of food here, my favorites so far have been the nachos, chicken Cesar wrap, and the fried ravoli. This place has great specials. During all Phillies games they have $10 buckets and 35 wings. When they don't have specials, they still have affordable drinks. If you want to give this place a try, I recommend going on a Friday night. $2 mixed drinks and they have karaoke! read more

My husband and I have been here a couple times on a Friday night for Karaoke. Although, there are a few people that sing pretty good, you don't have to be a pro to sing. Many, as myself, sing for the fun of it especially after a few drinks lol....We like it here, it's close to home, friendly crowd and nice attentive bartenders. We'll definitely come back. Walked in for the first time with a buddy. Maybe one other patron sitting at the bar. Female bartender was more interested in texting than attending to her customers. It seemed to be painful to her that she had to wait on us. We were having beers on draft so you know how heavy those glasses are. Other workers walking by, they all had sad or angry faces on. I went here recently to watch an Eagles game and was pleasantly surprised! It is a fantastic bar to watch a game. They have multiple large TVs and projector screens, so you can see the game from wherever you're sitting. They also have a great selection of craft beers on tap, and good wings. We were intending to go to Johnnies, which is attached to this bar. The sign on Johnnies states that it no longer served lunch, but the kitchen is shared with Daly's. Daly's Irish Pub has several pool tables in the bar and many more upstairs. I played it safe and ordered the Fish and Chips from the top of the menu, thinking I couldn't go wrong with this selection. Well, I was wrong. For $9.99 I got one well fried piece of frozen fish and some stale fries. The catsup was served in a squeeze and that wasn't enough to make it edible. Well me & rich we're here lastnight. I had fun & i enjoyed myself a lot. I did karaoke. Its the only way for me to get my music out there. This place is really nice. The people are nice. The crowd is nice. The whole open mic night thing they are always looking for bands or rock bands lol when im doing a pop song my music is all pop music. So i figure i do karaoke so i can get used to the crowd and get used to the people. Once i get used to everything i will be contacting people if they are looking for any newer talent. I love to sing. I attended a work dinner here last night and could not have been more disappointed. There were 11 of us and we were sat at a big table on what I think must be their dance floor. The air conditioning wasn't working and when we complained an employee turned an industrial fan on us. It would have been perfect if I was filming an Aerosmith video, but not really conducive to eating and talking. Our waitress came to our table three times before I was given the opportunity to even order a drink. Now let's get to the food. 4 course Italian dinner for $20. Sounds great, right? The options sounded pretty good. The appetizer was bruscetta. Not the greatest but not the worst. Second course was a choice of two soups or salad. I don't know what was going on in the kitchen since we were the only table in the restaurant but it was basically chaos from here on out. We got two extra soups at our table, but not enough salads. We were given old oil and vinegar as a dressing. Again, not horrible, but not great. Third course is listed on the menu as pasta in a pink sauce. What came out was varying portions of half penne with red sauce and half farfale with pink sauce. Some plates had only a few bites and some plates had a full meal portion. Not quite sure what the deal is there. To their credit, the farfale with pink sauce was delicious. Everyone agreed on that. There were plenty of options for the forth course, all of which sounded pretty good. Personally, I ordered flounder stuffed with crab meat. It was pretty good. Everyone who ordered the flounder liked it. My portion was really salty on the top, but the other flounder diners said theirs was great. I have no clue what happened with any of the other meals. Pork tenderloin in brown gravy was terrible. The person who ordered this received two plates, and neither of them were eaten. It was more of a chop than a tenderloin. Two people ordered chicken piccata. Only one received their meal and no one was interested in eating what came out. One person ordered veal parmesan and two came out of the kitchen. It was floating in red sauce and wasn't good. Didn't get eaten. Two people ordered the salmon in wine sauce and neither person took more than a bite. From across the table it looked like it had sat out in the sun for quite some time. More than one person left before the meal was finished because it was so appalling. Our poor server was very apologetic when it was clear we were unhappy. It seemed like she got very little support from management, if there was any. It's a shame since she's was a nice girl. We had all decided that we would never go back following the debacle that was our dinner. But I probably wouldn't have taken the time to write a negative review if it weren't for the way my coworker was treated by the owner when she called to let him know about our experience. He defensive, rude and childish. He told her we could come pick the $20 we paid for the meal that wasn't received. She said she didn't want anything from him, but simply wanted him to know about our experience and that it was creating negative word of mouth. He responded by asking if she thought she was scaring him. Seriously? As a business owner I would want to know that, but apparently his business is so solid he doesn't need to worry about a party of 11 people who all have negative things to say. Funny, because we were the only patrons in the whole place at 8 o'clock at night. Go to McDonald's instead. read more

My boyfriend's band played here yesterday. The bartenders were very nice and attentive. Clean environment with nice space. The food was pretty good- we got wings and jalepeno poppers. I also got a chocolate covered pretzel martini which was delicious!!!! read more

Only good thing about this bar happens to be the dj on fridays now....reason be is that if you happen to side with any of the patrons they are quick to snap at you. Irish? Pub? Not even close. Barkeeps are more interested in texting and chatting then serving the guests. Not 1 Irish faire on the menu that I came across.what they did offer was mediocre American/ Italian, at best. Ordered chicken parm, dark brown, crunchy, chicken was tough and swimming in luke warm sauce. My drink wasn't any better. Asked for captain and coke. As I wAtched the barkeep pick up well rum. She brought me the drink and I asked if it was Captain Morgan, she had the audacity to lie and say yes. I took a sip and almost spit it out. Tasted nothing but seltzer because the coke was out. Wasnt that big of a deal, told her I Asked for captain Morgan, not calico jack, (or whatever she used). Told her the coke was all seltzer, with an eyeroll as she wAlked away she made a pit stop to check her phone before telling someone to change the coke out. Place needs a good dusting and cleaning, smudge and dirt everywhere, 20+ pool tables, all different brands, all with mixed match sets of dirty balls. Outside is just as disgusting, trash on the sidewalks, cigarette buts litter the steps. Really a poor excuse for an Irish Pub. read more

Daly's and johnnie's is by far my favorite place in the neighborhood for many reasons. It isn't a dive bar where food and drinks are limited, plenty of room to accommodate any size party. Great place to get together with friends and family. Drinks are always flowing with 30+ beers on tap! Never any drama, and such a diverse crowd where everyone gets along. Beer is super hot!! Knowing they have tri cups here today where it's very busy and there beer is very hot. The bartenders busy talking to each other while you sit waiting to be served. Wish they will change the location to a better facility. Nice piece of property but bad service. read more

I went with my boyfriend a few weeks ago and have been back several times since. This is quickly becoming our new favorite spot! The bartenders are very friendly and make you feel at home. They have a huge selection of beer on tap with lots of craft beers, I like to try something different every time. Stopped in on a whim after I saw their name of PhillyTapFinder with brews I really like. I was pleasantly surprised-tremendous selection, nice bartender, lit warmly, and all in all nice warm fuzzy place. A lot bigger and different feel than a Northeast Philly taproom, more of a true "pub". and named accordingly. read more

Went to Daly's pub and had a great time. They have numerious beers on tap. Service was good. Ordered a pizza and it was so so good. Friend ordered chicken wings and I tore into them to as they were so tasty. Good place to go. read more

Absolutely LOVE it there. Staff is super friendly and they always have good music playing. Drink prices are great and the food is fantastic. Great place to go and hangout and just relax.
