I had brain damage from an alcoholic mother who drank excessively when expecting me and my sister. I had bi polar disorder and my sister was affected by my mother drinking when expecting her and has been in a home for criminally insane for 11 years with bi polar and schizophrenic and what a nightmare my life has been to say the least. Dr. Dutczak if it is the same one said now that I know it is nerves I can get back to work and I could not even get across the street I was so ill. It is only by the grace of God I survived. I was yelling in the streets and on street cars and buses and three years in bed with mental illness and no psychiatrist or medication. I don't think this nightmare will be over until the day I die. Dr. Satok always takes great care when listening to and assessing my ailments. His calm demeanour reassures even during the most stressful of moments and his deep care for his patients is evident with every interaction. He has gone above and beyond for me more times than I can count, keeping on top of my progress during recovery periods, monitoring my therapy and adherence to prescribed activity. And when therapy is working, and progress is being made, his genuine and heartfelt happiness for my improving state of wellness is so welcome, especially in this day and age. They are doing a great job, they aren't your friends they are managers of the doctors schedules and resources. Dr.Beattie is ALWAYS prompt in receiving me, I cannot believe how efficiently he runs. He knows exactly how much time we have and what we can get done, he doesn't leave you hanging if more needs to be done he suggests another appointment to thoroughly address your concerns. He is very direct, polite and realistic. For knowledgeably I give him a 10/10 because he doesn't pretend to know everything about everything. If he doesn't know the answer, he will look it up. If the condition needs a specialist, he will refer you. If you don't need a test you googled, he will explain why but run what needs to be run to assure you of his recommendation. Your doctor is not your friend, not your pal, not your savior and definitely not your yes man. The same way you expect them to be professional and helpful, you need to be reasonable and level headed.

Her colon resection broke down due to necrosis of the tissue. I didn't find out until obtaining the hospital/surgical records that the open abdominal surgery was done without the mandatory antibiotic prophylaxis being administered. No antibiotics given even when the abdominal incision infected and all staples removed. No antibiotics when test results indicated "many gram negative bacilli present"! She bled to death July 21, 2006. He frequently checks in to see your progress, outside of your appointment time. He is very reachable by email, and quick to respond too! I defiantly feel like he really wants to try and make everything better, even referring me to a specialist when something in my bloodwork came up that was concerning. He seemed more concerned about my wellbeing (due to the bloodwork) than the specialist--which really shows the difference between doctors. As for my dermatology concerns, he seemed very knowledgeable and explained any reasons behind it. He prescribed me some medication to help with the issue, and explained every other option available as well. He laid out any side effects and a timeline for me to start noticing a difference. I would definitely recommend coming to Dr. Michael Davis to help with your dermatology concerns! The only downside is the receptionist at the dermatology clinic he works at--probably some of the rudest receptionists in existence. It really doesn't matter what you ask them, they'll give you incredible attitude. I heard them talking to people on the phone and also other patients who came in to book follow up appointments and they were rude to all of them from the very beginning. I highly doubt EVERY client who calls is so troublesome that you need to slam the phone down every time. When I had first called the clinic to check when my first appointment was, the receptionist sounded absolutely exasperated when she gave me the information, and only the bare minimum. Please don't judge the doctors who work at this clinic based on the receptionist's attitude. The doctors are very good at what they do!
