We did not originally hire Daltons, the contractor hired them. They installed a new unit in a townhouse we purchased. July 2023 when temps were 95+, our unit kept popping the circuit, called Dalton and they came out and flushed the pipes, Worked for a day.came out again and said was fixed, but was not. they said we needed to get a plumber to flush the lines they could not get to. Long story short, they installed the pipes into the drain pan uphill and the pipe was bowed. Once our plumber fixed, we called Daltons several times to address a refund.... they charged but didn't fix the issue they created in the first place. I had used Air Specialist for 20 years. Two years ago, they said my blower motor was failing and should be replaced for approximately $1200. I checked the internet and discovered the average replacement cost was only $450. Then recently, (2 years later) my AC wouldn't work. I'm thinking the so called failing blower motor made it longer than expected. Who can you trust?! This time I called Dalton Air Conditioning and Charlie was my technician. I told him about the blower motor issues. After analyzing my system and examining the motor he said my blower motor was good but it was a capacitor. Charlie replaced the capacitor and checked all other system parts for under $300. My AC runs great now. It's difficult to find a business you can trust that will treat you fairly. After being told I needed a new unit and considering the first guy didn't even check the coolant or capacitor and wanted me to buy a new AC for the"discounted" price of $6,900.00 I decided to call Dalton and well , let's just say Dalton has a new lifetime customer. He checked the capacitor first thing (isn't that what all reputable companies do?) and had the thing done in about 15 minutes. Charge? Under $300.00. What more do you need to know? I had them out for a quote on a whole-home dehumidifier. The tech commented that this would be a very easy install, and then told me the model they would install. I could buy that model for $1200 on Amazon, and he quoted me $5200 to install it. $4000 for a "very easy" install seemed high to me, so I e-mailed and asked for a breakdown of the quote. They said they don't provide any detailed breakdown for residential quotes, which to me is a dealbreaker. If you are giving honest quote, you should have no problem breaking those things down for a customer. I don't pay people thousands of dollars without detail of what the costs are. read more

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Our A/C system stopped cooling yesterday evening, well my husband noticed that the house was unusually warmer. We were concern that we will end up paying a lot of money to fix the system. We search around online, especially social media, asking for recommendations on Facebook, Google and Nextdoor. We have never experience a situation like this, since we resided mostly in US Army Post, so things like this it was taken care of by Army Housing. Basically, we didn't know what to expect. A neighbor from the adjacent subdivision next to ours recommended on Nextdoor to give a call to Dalton Air Conditioning and Heating. She said she has used their services for years and we should give them a try. We did call other services, but so far, they haven't called me back. We call Dalton, early in the morning, around 8:00am, and Katy was able to find us a same day appointment with Mr. Charles Eagan. We truly appreciate that she took our time seriously, since we had to take time off from work to deal with this. From the moment I spoke with Cadie, I knew I was in good hands. Cadie provides incredible customer service and really knows her stuff. Charlie came out today to check on a high pitched whistling noise coming from my air filter area, and it ended up being that there is a small gap between the filter and the open area, so he was able to think outside the box and fix that very easily. I had mentioned to him while he was there, that during our "winter storm / freeze" a few weeks ago, my heater never stopped running the whole week and I had it set to 65 degrees. He thought that was strange, so he checked everything out for me and was extremely thorough, and happy to explain everything as he did it. Ended up being that one of my 3 heating elements wasn't even connected. Charlie connected it for me happily and all is back to normal in my home now. As someone who expects a lot out of customer service, Dalton AC goes ABOVE AND BEYOND the call of duty, and really gets to the bottom of any issue without fuss or charging you an arm and a leg! My ac went out. I'm a single mother with kids in house and was afraid of whom to even try and call. I found this business on yelp today. This afternoon I called and was not expecting to talk to a human being when I called and I did! I told woman on phone how my ac went out and needed help ASAP. We had 2 scheduled appointments to have our AC fan looked at and they were both no call no show. Not what you want to happen when you have a 2 week old baby. Luckily it isn't the middle of summer. The first missed appointment, we called to get an update, Technician states he meant the following day, okay that's fine, we are understandable people and can reschedule for the next day, business gets a little busy. Well the next day rolls around and nothing again. First time same on you, second time shame on me. Horrible business practice, if this is one. This could have been avoided with a simple phone call.
