Five stars go to Erica who initially gave our puppy his first trim. It was amazing and we couldn't be happier. This was my first initial review for this location. However just a couple weeks later my fiancé and I have been trying to reach this location to get a full haircut for my puppy. Erica has not responded or any of my calls which is understandable because people do get busy and/or go on vacation. However, I have been trying to contact the business via text and phone with absolutely zero response. After finally texting the number listed to the business that we were no longer going to come here due to the lack of communication and or answers, I finally get a response back within the day! So you're telling me that it took a "I am never coming back here again" text to get a response rather than a single response from the multiple, multiple times I've tried to reach out to the business? Unacceptable and unprofessional. The response I got was a rude no because they're that busy. I bring my golden doodle to a new groomer who is home-based, and absolutely loves meeting new dogs and passionate for what she does. Contact me for her info! Her prices are cheaper and offers a bigger variety with competitive pricing. I love this place! I have been bringing Gizzelle here to see Christina for her spa day for a couple of years now. after going through other groomers. Gizzelle isn't so happy to come. But, Christina is always very sweet to her. She makes me feel comfortable with leaving my fur baby in good hands. She's very good about making sure she asks what kind of cut you would like even if it's the same one every time. She will let you know if she's noticed anything to be concerned with. She is very good with scheduling your appointment as close as she can to the time you need. She's usually done in a couple of hours and She texts me right away to let me know I can come pick Gizzelle up. The price is great! $40 for everything. Always a great experience going here for Jerry (my mix havanese/shitzu). All the groomers are great. They are all really nice and the price is really reasonable. I had been going to benicia, ca groomers for awhile and always spent over $60 there. Here it's normally $40 for the same service. I went to another place in suisun valley, ca but Jerry always seems to get fleas whenever he went to that location even though the price was $40 there as well. This facility is CLEAN, and the groomers are great and nice to work with. They also love dogs, even though Jerry hates getting groomed, he's seems pretty calm when I bring him. Jerry's current groomer is Christina and she's really sweet. She was nice enough to let me know that one of Jerry's ears may have slight ear infection when she was cleaning. I'm so upset about the whole experience today with Brittiney Coulter at Dalmatian Station. First my husband sent a text asking if she could groom both of our shih tzu. My in laws always bring their dogs here and we've had one other appointment here almost two years ago with another groomer. My husband confirmed an appointment for 2pm today. When my daughter and I arrived, Brittiney told us she only had been told she'd be grooming one dog and that she had the text, so I should yell at my husband for not telling her there were two. I told her I confirmed with him he said the appointment was for two dogs, but she said she could groom them both anyway and we could pick them up at 5:30 or 6. My husband showed me the text he sent, which said "two" dogs, and he decided he was going to pick the dogs up and talk to her. They were ready at about 5 so he headed over. He didn't end up talking to her about the text mixup because when he got there something else came up. She said she was sorry because she said my dog was so matted underneath that she ended up nicking her. She showed him one spot and said she wouldn't charge him for her because she felt bad. He paid for our other dog and took them home. When I saw the dog she "nicked," I noticed one spot on her leg that was nicked, a large almost 2" long cut on her underside still bleeding, a bloody front paw and an entire bald patch by her tail. I have taken pictures of what I could, but my dog was so sensitive to being touched so I will try to update with more clear pics tomorrow. My other dog is too scared for me to pick her up right now, so I'm hoping she wasn't "nicked," also. I'm very upset right now and I can't believe what happened to my dog. read more

I've been going to this place for a few years now but I just wanted to say that this place does an outstanding job. My dog is very particular with who cut his hair and gets scared because of previous experiences with Petco. Anyway, today Keanu(my dog in the photo) got a cut & nail trim from Natasha. In brief, she did an amazing job! Keanu looked all nice and clean when I picked him up just an hour & 30 minutes later. Overall, my experiences here have always been pleasant especially if your dog get very nervous while being groomed! PS: the prices and customer service can DEFINITELY beat places like Petco. I have a Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie) and he does not do well with groomers. I've taken him to Petco as well as Petsmart and every time they have called me saying they cannot finish the job. He gets very nippy and the groomer cannot seem to calm him down. They recommend me to get sedatives for him from our vet that will calm his nerves. I bought them and gave my dog one before taking him to Dalmation Station. They advised me they sedatives actually cause long-term health problems so they recommend us not to use them. After the first appointment Cristina C told me he was just very nervous, he took her time and built some trust with him during his visit. I definitely appreciate the time and patience she takes with him. I just recently took him back for a bath and hair cut (costs me around $40) without the sedative. He did great! She said he was still a bit nervous, but he trusts her enough to actually finish the haircut. I HIGHLY recommend this groomer for your pet. They take their time with each dog (not rush to finish like major groomers) and actually try to build a relationship with their clients. Melody is fantastic and has come to the rescue several times for my cavalier. I live in Walnut Creek and cannot seem to find a good groomer in my area... they either botch my dogs haircut, or take 6+ hours. Melanie has been my parents groomer for about five years now, so I knew taking my pup to see her would be a good idea. She finished my dogs bath and cut in maybe a few hours and texted 30 min before she would be finished. The facilities are clean and the rest of the groomers are very nice! I'm not even going to attempt to find anywhere closer to my home at this point and will make the 30min drive just to make sure my dog gets a good cut! read more

I would highly recommend this place. I use to use another groomer but happened to find this one close to my house. Christina was my dog's regular groomer and has been doing a great job with both my Bichon and German Shepherd. She always done a great job taking all my GS's shed hair and plus he smells a lot better. Now for the great attention to detail with Christina...while my GS was there, she found a "golf" size lump at the base of his tail and told me about it. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! It was the worst experience I've ever had with any grooming facility. My shih tzu now needs a $4,000 surgery due to a deep corneal abrasion that occurred while he was there. He may even lose his eye. He had no issues until this visit! My dog was bright bubbly and happy when I dropped him off. Natasha groomed him and called me and asked me if I was aware of an issue with his eye. There wasn't an issue. What she SHOULD have said, was that there was an incident that resulted in him being injured. It's obvious that it happened while he was there. Either he was cut with a fool or he scratched his eye while trying to avoid the grooming. Regardless, she should have been forthcoming instead of lying about it. Kim, who is "one of the owners" returned my call and told me that Natasha told her she had someone hold my dog down while blow drying him. This was AFTER Natasha told me he didn't like the blow dryer so she didn't dry him. Kim was extremely rude and unprofessional. Natasha was rude and trying to escape blame instead of being open and honest. I demanded a refund and was told that it was being processed. I will never have anything positive to say about this establishment. I hope no one else has to go through what we've been through over the past few days. read more

I recently brought my two small dogs in for a nail trim to discover it's no longer Grooming Angels, but new owners and a new name. Loved it when it was G.A But unfortunately I do not like D.S. Rather than sooth a worried dog with calming tones and language like "it will be ok" and "will be over soon, not to worry, little dog", insted my dog was chastized for "being bad" and told that basically she would be "handled tighter if she kept misbehaving and squirming". She's an animal being taken several feet away from her owner!! OF COURSE she's worried and wondering what's going on. Not all dogs hold still like statues, you know. And just because she's worried, doesn't mean she's being bad. She didn't nip or bark. She was merely worried. In a nutshell, she was treated rudely and handled agressively in front of me. Wow! Learn some positive animal behavior handling techniques. This customer won't return. read more

Took my dog Frisco there for about two years, All was well until late November. When I dropped him off he was perfectly fine, Went to pick him up and the groomer Brittany said there was something wrong with his eye, because he kept "pawing" at it. I didn't think much of it because all was well when I dropped him off. I was thinking maybe some hair had irritated it.( He's a Shih Tzu, lots of hair). A day later I notice he's rubbing his eye on the carpet. Took him to the vet 2 days later and he says his eye has been cut. Well, I texted Brittany to ask if anything unusual happened during his visit. She responded "No, not that I remember. He let me do his face which he doesn't like me to do. Is he o.k.? I responded "no, he has a cut on his eyeball and has been undergoing treatment. At this point he's probably going to lose his eye". I sent her a picture of his eye and she said " thats something I would of noticed, and would of taken him to the vet right then." To this day I have not approached Brittany because my anger is way too strong. Honesty is paramount when you trust a groomer with your pet. Frisco can't tell me what happened that day, so I would need the groomer to be honest and tell me if she made a mistake. Accidents happen. I would be willing to work with her to share the cost, but it doesnt seem like honesty is a core value to this business. Frisco had his eye removed on January 3rd after weeks of therapy to try and save it. $2,300 later I have yet to hear from Brittany to even inquire about how Frisco is doing.
