My 7-year-old niece is obsessed with Peppa Pig, and in the whirlwind of party planning, I realized two hours before the party that I completely forgot to order balloons. I needed something cute and simple, so I called Balloon Kings right after they opened at 10am, explained my situation, and within 60 seconds, Mark texted me a Peppa Pig bouquet example that was spot-on. I asked to fill it out with extra pink and yellow latex balloons, to which he said, "No problem." Not only was the order adorable and exactly what we needed, but it was also ready for pickup in under an hour. Talk about coming through in the clutch! The balloons were a hit :-). Kids loved them, adults loved them, and the party instantly felt more festive. There's just something about balloons that brings out joy at any age, and Balloon Kings gets that. Mark's attention to detail, warm personality, and "I got your back" energy really stood out. You can tell he takes pride in making every order feel important, whether it's for a small birthday party or a big event. Highlights: *Fast turnaround (especially in "emergencies"!) * Ordering is easy: online, via phone, or in person *Pickup or delivery available *Balloons come nicely bagged for transport *Custom designs for small or large events *Phenomenal customer service I'm a fan and I'll definitely be back for my balloon orders for all our celebrations this year. The pleasant man/owner at Balloon City was kind enough to stay ~15 minutes past his closing time so I could come by after I got off work and pick up my order (placed that afternoon). Got in and out quick -- huge balloon order was neatly bundled for me to transport and ready to go! Very considerate.. All for under $60. The design ("60" XL bundle for 60th bday) was so cute! He understood my vision perfectly (and I'm not afraid to admit I'm among the pickiest)! Recipient LOVED it.

Have you ever been so excited about something, only for it to fall short of expectations? That's…read moreexactly what happened to me while celebrating my son's senior football signage day. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but my experience with this company's customer service was beyond disappointing. Two days before my son's football signing day, I ordered a balloon display. Although I had ordered from another company, I was told the colors that I requested had not arrived. I contacted the owner of this company, Barbara, and my initial interaction was great--she assured me they could fulfill my order without issue. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Several problems led to this review: 1. The balloons weren't ready when my husband arrived for pickup. He waited over 20 minutes while they were rushed to completion. 2. The vinyl lettering on two balloons was warped. 3. The lettering was placed on the wrong balloons. 4. The font on the largest (32-inch) balloon was too small. Since the balloon naturally twirled, the text was barely visible. (I expected a professional to anticipate this issue.) 5. One batch of balloons had helium issues and didn't sit fully upright. The worst part? When I called the next day to calmly provide feedback, I was met with sarcasm: "So, you're the balloon expert?" and "I can't be responsible for the balloon twirling!" No, I'm not an expert--but at $120 for a jumbo balloon and $39 for a small set, I expect quality. Of course I would never felt the need to call if the balloons had been made correctly. I had hoped the owner wasn't aware of these issues, but our conversation proved otherwise. She was fully aware and offered no compassion for my experience. She did offer a refund, which I accepted--but weeks passed, and despite multiple follow-ups, it never came. I've given up on the refund, but the disappointment remains. I love supporting small, minority-owned businesses, and I had future events in mind (2 proms, 2 graduations, an a 20 year anniversary). Sadly, I can't risk another letdown and will be in search for another company.
