I've been a loyal customer of The Children's Place for years, but my experience at the Westfield…read moreFox Hills store (#1237) on Saturday, January 11, 2025, was unacceptable. While shopping, I noticed a deal on the back wall showing denim pants for $16.99. Over 10 pairs of flare pants were stacked under the sign in the bootcut section, an error caused by the store's staff. Despite this, the manager, Vanessa, rudely refused to honor the price and dismissed my concerns as if it were my fault. This wasn't about the $3 difference--it was about her unprofessional attitude and lack of accountability. Poor service like this reflects badly on the brand. I wont be giving anymore money and i will definitely let other people know.

But what really stood out was the customer service. There were three employees working during my visit, and each one went above and beyond to help -- far beyond what you usually expect in a busy mall store. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made the whole experience exceptional. The store is located inside a beautiful and very lively Westfield mall, with plenty of free parking outside, making it super convenient to visit.

I placed an order on Saturday and received it today, so shipping was fast. Unfortunately, the shoes…read moreI received were badly defective -- multiple paint marks, scuffs, glue residue, creasing, and overall they looked used from most angles. This was very disappointing, especially since I expected a new, accurately described item. I contacted customer service immediately. It took over six minutes to reach a live person. Anthony assisted me and was polite, but Rookie Kids' policies are unacceptable. I was asked to email photos of the defects, which I did. I was then asked whether I wanted a refund or replacement. I needed the shoes urgently, so I requested a replacement. Instead of promptly resolving the issue, I was told my request had to be reviewed and approved first. Only then would I receive a return label, after which I would have to ship the defective shoes back, wait for inspection, and then finally have a replacement shipped. This process is not ideal for a customer who already paid in good faith for a brand-new item. Most reputable companies will immediately ship a replacement and include a return label, with the understanding that if the damaged item is not returned, the customer will be charged. Rookie Kids' policy unfairly delays the resolution and leaves the customer without the product they purchased for far too long. Fast shipping means little when the product arrives defective and the company does not stand behind their merchandise with efficient, customer-friendly solutions.
