I was there last weekend have lunch (the coupon gives you the full/dinner menu) and I have mix feelings about coming back to it. On one hand, the sushi itself was good, as well as the seafood on the grill (shrimp mainly). They have a decent selection of basic sushi as well as some modern ones (first time I eat "meat sushi) which I enjoyed. Our waitress was super nice, attentive and always smiling, which is highly appreciated. On the other hand, the owner was not very welcoming, neither helpful. To order your food, they give you a tablet, that allows only to order ten items (consider that a specialty sushi is one piece per order and a regular roll is three pieces per order) every fifteen minutes. While some orders are quick, we had a couple that took 30+ minutes - restaurant was not even half full - and one order was served to another table. On top of that, some items in the menu (the noodles or the soup) were clearly microwaved because they were completely dried out. Once again, mix feelings about it. The ordering system is not useful at all, you spend more time waiting than eating but some of the sushi rolls were good.

Coming from CA where there are plenty of Chinese restaurants I would say that my bar is relatively…read morehigh. Food- salty and oily for me. MSG is plenty and very apparent. Selection is good but mostly fried or stir fried. Veggie menu is limited. Service is slow because the entire restaurant only has one server, one cook, and one prep. If you don't have reservation you will be turned down. I had diarrhea after eating here. Caters mostly to tourists so ambiance is good. However this does not make up for the quality of food which leaves much to be desired.

The one thing I did not enjoy was the cleanliness. I felt uncomfortable sitting next to the dying plants by the window, which attracted all sorts of bugs. I felt like the table had dirt from the plants and needed to be actually wiped down with soap and water. The floor needed to be scrubbed; the chairs had crumbs from previous patrons. Once the food arrived though, I forgot about this. There is a guy solo running the front. He took orders, brought out all dishes, and received payment at the counter. He asked where we were from because we spoke a bit of Mandarin. Cumin lamb was fried and very fragrant. Wontons in chili oil were big and juicy but could have been spicier. Sauteed cabbage was good - the only dish we got that wasn't spicy. Water boiled fish was numbing but could have used more flavor. It was just amazing to have white rice instead of potatoes for once in Belgium!! Credit card accepted. No American Express.

The guy spoke Mandarin, Cantonese, and English - and probably some Dutch too. They had an extensive menu of dim sum items, but I didn't get to order too much. It would be nicer to come here with more people to try more dishes. The shrimp cherng fun and siu mai were good. The shrimp were nice and plump, but the siu mai may have been on the small/cute side. I tried a chow mein dish. The noodles were perfectly crunchy when they should be, and the sauce had great flavor. The beef with black bean sauce was good too. For two people, our total was 43 ish euros. It's a good price for a lot of food. They had some intermittent AC. Credit card accepted.

I'm so pleased that we came here because the Thai food was delicious and probably the best meal we've had in Europe so far over the past week. The noodles were soft and delicious and the duck was absolutely excellent. My mother-in-law swears she "hates the taste of duck" and this ended up being her favorite dish. Overall, 5 stars! Highly recommend!

By the way it's one of the few Chinese in the neighbourhood with a terrace outside which is a plus during summer. A glass of housewine: 4,5€. A portion of kroepoek you usually get for free but here you pay 3€ (you'll get sweet & sour sauce as extra) Tofu with vegetables, 14,80€, delicious but I didn't have rice on the side or anything so it's not cheap. My girlfriend asked baked noodles as a side dish and paid 5,50€ for it. 9,80€ for a nasi goreng with chicken, is ok I would say. Then we asked for tea for three, got one pot of jasmin tea and paid 7,50€ for it (no cookies on the side), that I think is quite a lot again. The service is efficient, quick, the food is very good so it's a good place but do expect to pay more than in Chinatown.
