I was surprised at how limited their stock and sizing was. My daughter is tall and fairly slender, so drew comments at all the other bridal stores about having a model's body while trying on very fitted dresses. Everywhere else (7 other stores) all of the dresses fit, and most needed to be clipped tighter. Yet at Daisy, all the dresses on the racks could barely be zipped up and some were totally unsuitable to even attempt to try on. Seriously? She found one dress that she thought might be a contender, but it was very hard to judge when it was three sizes too small. My daughter felt fat after leaving this store. read more

I've literally never had a pleasant experience here. It's always a mess at this place. Never once has a dress been even close to fitting correctly even though they take your measurements. The dresses are always cheap quality too even though they charge so much at this place. Oh and keep your receipts and make it very clear what you are paying for from the beginning, they always try to sneak in an extra charge!! This place is awful, the people never know what's going on, and they don't have any special designs so you can find anything they have literally anywhere else for probably less expensive and have a more pleasant experience. If you do not, steer clear and go anywhere else! I was going to write our entire story, but decided it was too much for Yelpers to read, so instead I'm just giving a short summary. We were promised our dresses on several dates in November which soon got delayed to several dates in December, but they didn't arrive until a week before the wedding in January. We were lied to about arrival dates several times and when the dresses didn't come, we began to panic and search other options only a few weeks before the wedding... I gave two stars only because the owner gave us our alterations for free which was the absolute least she could do given how much stress she put us under. We ordered the dresses several months in advance. In my personal opinion, I think they must have forgotten to place the order or waited until the last minute. After the original meeting and full measurements with Mary Ellen, owner of Daisy Tarsi, I placed my order (Oct 2021) and paid $1500 in total for a (top and pants) outfit to be worn at a friend's wedding in early Nov 2021. I had one fitting which clearly was not enough but did not realize it until too late! The outfit was a total disaster! The night of the event when I tried it on, the pant legs were so long and also kept rolling down from the waist. The blouse did not close properly at the top; it was way too big and very uncomfortable. I ended up searching for safety pins or something to help but nothing worked. I called immediately on Monday, Nov 8, 2021, to complain. We both agreed to let the holidays go by and I would then come back for an additional fitting. I then brought both pieces back on Jan 6th for another fitting and mentioned that I had another wedding on Jan 29th and would need the pieces back. She assured me that they would be ready. However, only the pants had been hemmed and additional elastic was added. I did not try the pants on, which were still too long (my mistake - again) and picked up only the pants on Jan 25th. The top was not ready, I was told the top needed more altering... Once again, the outfit was a total disaster!! Called again and complained. My last phone call was on February 1, 2022, and left a voice message but have not received a call back or any other kind of response. It has been almost 6 months trying to get this outfit. So happy I ended up at Daisy Tarsi. I had a very bad experience with another shop on Black Friday and I was desperate to find a specific dress. We called around and Daisy Tarsi had the designer I was looking for. We called and they had the dress. The owner, Maryellen was wonderful. She took the time to answer all our questions about pricing and alterations. We did come into the shop a little late but she closed shop for us and never let us feel that we had to rush or get out ASAP. After a horrible experience with another store, we were left with no dresses and a week left until the wedding. My sister, the bride, was in a panic and on a busy Saturday we happened to walk past Daisy Tarsi and in the window was the perfect gold dress! We walked into the store and asked to try it on and if they had anymore gold dresses, we needed to find a gold dress for each of the seven bridesmaids. The owner of the store happened to have gold bridesmaid dresses from a wedding that was postponed until April, so she gave the bride who purchased them a call to see if we could take them and they could order new ones for her April wedding. Bless that woman's soul, she said YES! The owner, and all the wonderful people who worked there were so professional and accommodating. They had the dresses altered by Monday and they are BEAUTIFUL! Daisy Tarsi had a good selection (and I was very picky, I wanted a long sleeve ballgown). Maryellen was also wonderful and made sure my dress was altered perfectly! She answered my questions quickly over email which is super important when every aspect of wedding planning is so stressful. But Daisy Tarsi had great service so I never worried about my dress! Came here with my bridesmaids to get their dresses. It was actually the only place in miracle mile that wasn't absolutely obnoxious and they made us feel very welcome. Wonderful customer service while we were there. Annetta was great and made us feel well taken care of. That was August, it's now February and the dresses are still not in! We were told 2-3 months for delivery.....we are now at 6 months. I called multiple times and was given the run around. Only after sending a scathing email did the owner respond to me telling me she had been sick which is something to do with the delay. She confirmed the dresses would be in by end of week/next week. It's end of the week and still no dresses so I'm hoping next week. The owner is trying remedy the situation by offering free alterations for the girls. We will definitely accept unfortunately my maid of honor lives on the west coast so this delay is really just causing her more aggravation than anyone bc she must have it altered there. As soon as I walked into Daisy Tarsi, I felt so welcomed by the staff as well as the owner, Maryellen. I picked out my dress and had a bunch of fittings to make sure it was altered and fit PERFECTLY. Then COVID hit, and Maryellen told me not to worry that they would work with me as best as they could if I needed to have another fitting throughout the pandemic. My fiancé and I decided to postpone our wedding twice so we could enjoy it with our friends and family but Maryellen insisted I keep coming to the store to try on the dress and honestly this helped keep the magic alive. When the time finally came to do my last fitting for our wedding, the dress was PERFECT. On our wedding day I had never felt so beautiful. From the hair, the makeup and the dress (as well as the veil which was custom made at Daisy Tarsi) it was the wedding I had always dreamed of. From the moment I walked in without an appointment on a Saturday, the ladies at Daisy Tarsi made my mom and I feel like family. I wasn't set on any particular style, and I thought it was going to take a while to find my wedding dress. My Sales Associate was Anya. She pulled some amazing dresses for me. I ended up choosing the third dress I tried on! The dress was a custom-made design by Digna Yero. Anya then brought me some fabulous accessories and a Digna Yero veil to die for. Maryellen is a master consultant, and a jack of all trades. She made sure that my dress was flawless, and more importantly, she made sure that I was happy. I got the a bit earlier than my appointment so they hadn't opened up yet, no worries....we grabbed bfast in Miracle Mile and then headed back over. They listened to what I liked and showed me their options. They also brought over dresses that I wouldn't have picked out myself (one of them ended up being THE dress). I lived in a different state so they were able to send me my dress to my home. I do hear they have a phenomenal seamstress as well! Last Spring, I met one of my best friends, Sara, in MIA for a much needed girls weekend. Just before our trip, I asked her to be a bridesmaid for our wedding in Oct. Annette sensed that deep down, the first dress was the ONE and asked me to try it on one more time. I'm SO glad she did... it really was the one. She gave me suggestions on how to embellish it to make it my own. We added a sash and a feather. Being that the dress was none other than MaryEllen's design, she came over to help me. I felt like a princess! Who gets lucky enough to have the actual designer style you??! After she finished styling me, we proceeded to pick out bridesmaids dresses. We found the exact color and fabric I wanted for all the dresses. Sara found a perfect dress and my other 2 bridesmaids were able to pick out their styles online. Nevermind that we were getting all 4 dresses made across the country. (I live in CA!) MaryEllen and Annette made sure the dresses would be ready in time for Oct 1st. They assured me that we could all come back for fittings and alterations all in 1 trip. 2 of us ended up flying back (other 2 bridesmaids live overseas) for the fittings. We came in on a Mon and had the dresses in hand on Wed to catch an afternoon flight home. The seamstress was the sweetest lady on earth, too. Very disappointed with my experience at Daisy Tarsi. Visited the store and picked out bridesmaid dresses for my sisters wedding. They took measurements in store and ordered 4 sizes larger than my normal size. The dress took a long time to come in, and when it did I was shocked at how HUGE it was. I could fit another person inside the dress with me, that's how big it was. 2 of the other bridesmaids had similar issues. I'm now forced to spend over $100 on alterations and the dress does not look how it should due to the seamstress practically having to take it apart and remake it. The wedding is next week and my dress is still not finished. I would not recommend ordering dresses here. read more

I ordered a flower girl dress from Daisy Tarsi in late December for an early March wedding. I was told by the young lady at the store that it would arrive in 4 weeks, the bride was told 6 weeks by a different employee in a different day, and the dress actually arrived 2 days short of the 8 week mark. What really bugged is that I called the store during week 5, was asked for my name and number and was told that someone would call me back later that day. No one ever called back. I called back the next day and was told that the dress would possibly be in the following week. At the end of the following week the same thing happened. Customer service wasn't great. When the dress finally arrived I was taken aback at the lack of quality. For over $100 for a small child's dress, I expected for the zipper to at least lay flat in the back of the dress. The $30 dresses at Gymboree have better attention to detail and fabric quality. I didn't choose the dress, but I expected a bridal shop on Miracle Mile to have better quality. Especially at the prices they charge. It was cute and considering that it was only worn for about 2 hours, held up well. There's a parking lot behind the shop and they have weekend hours, which is nice for those of us who can't make it during the week. read more

i truly enjoyed my experience at daisy tarsi. the staff was very nice and easy to work with. the lady who attended me didnt rush me and really took her time showing me each dress they had in the showroom (one by one). she was also really good at putting the dresses on me and making sure the lining fell properly under all those layers of fabric!! although i didnt end up buying my dress here i would totally go back, they had a great selection of regular dresses and an on-site seamstress. read more

I wasn't looking for my "Mother of the Groom" gown in March when my husband and I visited Coral Gables. However, as soon as I saw my gown in the window, I knew it was "the one." My husband told me to go into the salon and try it on. Since there were several other bridal salons in the area, I told him I'd look around, then come back. We did just that. I tried on one other gown just to be sure. I ended up getting the gown I saw in the window. Anneta helped me and she couldn't have been more helpful and sweet. It took all of maybe a half hour to order my gown. I received the fabric swatch within a few weeks. The gown arrived last week. DO NOT go to Daisy Tarsi. It has probably been one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. Customer service does not exist. You feel like you are disturbing the people in the shop from the moment you walk in. I had problems with my dress and since I couldn't return it, i had to just try to make the best of it. Because it was made so poorly, I had to get my dress fixed, when I got it back it was even worse than before. Of course this is the manufacturer's fault, however not once did they return my phone calls (after always insisting they would be in touch shortly), they were incredibly rude and extremely unprofessional. If you absolutely have to go to this store (unfortunately they are the only ones who carry certain brands), I would recommend you find what your looking for (size, color) and order it from somewhere else. We all got sized 4 sizes to large after stating that we knew it was going to be to big. They did measure us correctly but decided to add 4 sizes more per dress. When the dresses came in they were HUGE! They wanted to charge us 40$ for the top half another 40$ for the bottom to adjust the sizes. After paying nearly 300$! We had to call them for a week straight to make sure our orders were in. Took them a week of calls, emails and an angry call from the bride to get some answers. They were rude and never had an answer for us. I would never recommend this store to anyone i know. Next year i will be getting married myself and there is no way in hell i will use this company. The attention at the store was really professional, they take the time to help you find the perfect dress for you and every detail (belt, veil, shoes) as well. About 3 months ago I was helping my close friend search for the perfect bridesmaids dresses. Buttons were added down the back and train and sleeves were created with the same lace that the bodice of the dress is made from. I traveled from Boston to Miami to purchase my dress and be fitted. What a horrible experience. I ordered a bridesmaid dress from this venue for my friend's wedding. I do not live in Florida so I had to call in my measurements. They told me according to my measurements I would be a size 10 or 12 although 2 months ago I wore a size 6 bridesmaid dress which fit perfectly( my size has not changed since then). A woman named Aneta helped me and another woman named Maryellen placed my order. I decided to go against their advice and order a size 8 and they seemed concerned with my choice but I knew I wouldn't be a 10. Well, I just received a size 10 in the mail and with the destination wedding only 2 weeks away I'm pretty much screwed. I understand that these places encourage you to buy a larger size so they can create revenue from alterations but this is ridiculous. Aside from them ordering me the wrong size each time I needed to call there the phone would ring up to 2 minutes with no answer. They are unprofessional and obviously not thourough. I strongly recommend you avoid this place. The only good part of dealing with this store is that they shipped the dress to me for free, $250 later they might as well offer that. read more
