We rented from Gypsy Canoe (see my review). Until we get more experience, we'll continue to rent from Gypsy. The Kayak Park has a few rapids for exposure. You can actually roll if you don't maneuver in the Dwight section if it. The good news is the water is fairly calm so there's no scary current to drag and keep you under. But there is a dock ramp which is open yearly that you can use for personal kayaks or paddle boards. I would definitely recommend coming back in March if you want to rent. Super easy and convenient. Dress to get wet, depending on how you paddle lol. Water sprays and drips from paddles. Also wind sprays the water. So shorts, water shoes or flip flops would be great.

I only mention this because it rained and some people got out and called for pick up. This is the most mellow laid back creek we have floated on. It was almost like we had the whole place to ourselves. We did the shorter one, got put in around 10 am and we're out a little after 12pm. Perfect for kids first float! They do go up to 12 miles. Rafts we're all in good condition and bus was super comfy!
