There are some really unusual things, especially the toys. I think the owner said that she goes to france to buy a lot of them. The jewellery in particular is really nice and I have found it to be not too expensive. The lady who owns it is lovely and always remembers you welcomes you in, she doesn't make you feel like she doesn't want you there if you are not buying anything.

You can buy cards from about 25p which are fine for sending to your childrens school friends for their birthdays for example. The character cards like disney princess or high school musical are a little more expensive but usually not more that 2 pounds. You can buy half decent wrapping for about 10p - even the helium balloons are sold and filled for a couple of pounds. Bargain! I wouldn't go here to buy stuff for special occasions but as I said it is a cheap card shop!

The girl who owns the shop makes a lot of her own jewellery and will make or customise her stuff to suit you. Its all very reasonably priced and I like the fact that your gift can be totally unique! Also on sale are kids clothes, lots of different accessories and there is always a great, albeit small, selection of cards. Would definitely recommend a visit - but don't turn up too early as I don't think it opens before about 10!

Some are just hilarious and some are so rude I wouldn't know who to send them to! There's a range of cards based on nursery rhymes but aimed at adults - very clever. There's a range called 'Can't Think Straight' aimed at the gay market - its a shame I don't have more gay friends as the cards are excellent! There is a range called 'Well Cool' where the cards look like a fridge with the message made out of fridge magnets which are awesome. There's lots more too - check it out, well worth a look.

I got two windows fitted earlier this month. Very bad…read moreservice all the way. a) The sales person Luke promised everyone at Smiths are employees including window fitters. This was a big lie, the person who fitted my windows was a contractor/freelancer. b) The person who booked in my installation date over the phone was very unpolite and rude. It made me feel they just want to the job done not worrying whether it was OK with the customer. c) The windows fitter was very worst experience. Very rude,unprofessional and went on doing what he wanted to do, whenever I said something he would say its OK. He used the F word couple of times when I was showing the dirt on the windows. The windows supplied were atleast an inch small both sides, this fitter should have used properly packing foam but he said her forgot in his earlier job and just filled the big gaps with silicon. The windows are still very cold and sweaty all night. I strongly feel these windows have to be redone. NEVER EVERY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE....THEY LIE, ARE VERY RUDE AND UNPROFSSIONAL.
