Yes, there are times when there are delays and things happen, but I'm happy to accommodate as Daisy is happy to accommodate our ups and downs. Today they cleaned my in-laws place that had been empty for a while, and they found the freezer had stopped working and proceeded to clean it out and make sure it wasn't left behind. Like the Brazilian cleaners these young women just wanted to collect money and flee. My god, I am retired and they thought I had no sense of their piggish ways. I paid them $140.00 for three hours of cleaning. If they keep their homes they way they cleaned mine, God help them. Both the Brazilians and these cleaners do not know what quality cleaning means. Texts weren't returned often when I tried to reach out. Bad Time management is a huge issue with this business. My house looked clean in some areas but in others not so much. But it appears she has enough clients because she was always running late and is still in business. However, soon after providing one quote she stopped answering our calls and texts. And, when finally we got a hold of her she had raised the price by $100. She met me same day I called from my fathers house (I live out of town but was here to help him with some medical issues and realized he no longer could keep up his house alone, it had gotten very bad). She walked through the house and gave us a very fair rate for the cleaning of an extremely dirty house and regular maintenance. She confirms all appointments with both my dad and me, and is so considerate of his feelings and experience. I used to be able to clean my house and get it all done in a few hours.... fast forward 20 years and I still love a clean house... just wears me out! I started a search and happened to see the van for Daisy just down the street- at a neighbors house. I called and spoke to Daisy- explained that I am finishing up Chemo and needed her help! She came over to meet me and see the house. I was immediately impressed with her attention to detail and her security on house keys and Her attention to keeping safe during these scary times. The first cleaning was deep cleaning and that meant blinds,sliding door tracks; wiping down surfaces like doors and drawers. Her crew was here again this week and Daisy met me after it was finished and wanted to walk the house with me to make sure it was satisfactory. We have been using Daisy's team for a little over a year and they consistently do a fantastic job. I have been impressed with them since the beginning but a few months ago I was really won over. They thought they had accidentally taken the finish off the tile in my bathroom vanity. Daisy immediately brought it to my attention, offered to pay for the repairs and file a claim against her insurance if necessary to make it right. None of that was needed; it was actually just the natural aging of the copper in the tile that they cleaned. No damage was done. Daisy's response speaks volumes about her integrity. She and her employees handled it with professionalism and brought the concern to my attention. It was such a small area; I would not have noticed. They chose to do the right thing, even when no one was looking. As a business owner ourselves my husband and I appreciate when fellow entrepreneurs take the effort and expense to keep things above board. I have to say this was probably one of the most unprofessional cleaning services I have encountered. First of all, we arranged a meeting time for her to inspect my home and she failed to show up. On the second meeting arrangement, she did arrive and we discussed prices. I needed a move-out cleaning and she gave me an unbelievably great price. However, I should have expected what was to come. She arrived over AN HOUR late, and then left my apartment unlocked because of her unwillingness to wait for me to return home and inspect. She failed to clean a number of areas like the chimney, inside of the cabinets, under the refrigerator, baseboards and doors. ALL OF WHICH WE HAD DISCUSSED WOULD BE CLEANED. I immediately called her and demanded she return within the next few days. Instead she sent her workers the next day WHO ARRIVED AN HOUR LATE AS WELL. Initially they began to argue about cleaning the cabinets until I had them call Daisy to confirm it had already been discussed and confirmed. I was so excited to see the results after using daisys cleaning service. My apartment was a gross mess before I moved in. Daisy took a look around, gave me a very fair affordable flat rate, and her cleaners spent 4 hours scrubbing my place spotless. Before the cleaning, I wouldn't have touched my kitchen stove. I have had them come once a month ever since. They always do a fantastic job. Any time there is ever an issue they immediately let me know. At one time they thought they accidentally broke something on my husband desk, which they didn't. They immediately came and told me. If Daisy doesn't make it to my house during a cleaning she will follow up to make sure I was satisfied with the service. I want to start by saying her coming to clean my house was a birthday present since.I had been VERY ill for 3 months. I read her reviews and she sounded great..I mostly agree with all the other reviews,..what they said about Daisy is true. Daisy is professional, friendly,and responsive. She does rush a bit,and I was disappointed that on the day we had arranged for her to come clean, she said she couldn't when she arrived, but she agreed to clean the kitchen and come back the next day for the rest of the house.She did follow through as promised. She did a good job cleaning a very big mess in my home.I tipped her & even texted her after she had left to tell her how grateful I was, and how amazing my home looks now,.. thanks to her. I was so happy with how clean my home was.It was very bad,before she came.I am just being completely honest. What was weird is I had them and other mail,including my new social security card in a mail holder,all the mail was removed & is gone,including the gift cards,hotel certificate and my new Social Security card.Now my 14k pendant is gone too.It was left filled with earrings,a belt,a disposable camera,a flower hair clip,a fan from Turkey,my dogs hair brush,my glasses cases & pictures & a small cosmetic brush cases. It looked so nice,and I didn't realize the mail was not behind all the stuff she placed there.I don't know why she would clean a mail holder or remove items from a mail holder ,& not put it back.Everything was stolen. I had to file a police report ,but since I have no witnesses or evidence, I can't do anything but write this on yelp, & complain to the BBB. I am very worried that my Social Security card is missing/stolen.I know it was in the mail holder as well. I contacted Daisy about all of this, and she didn't apologize at AT ALL.All she said was how I had texted her to thank her.That was before I noticed all the missing items. I was happy how clean my home looked,but now that has nothing to do with $400+ of missing items and a missing Social Security card & mail & now my 14k pendant too ,7/15/14. She NEVER apologized for anything.I asked if it could have been placed elsewhere initially. one year, one rental, ten tenants later, our condo was exactly how you would imagine it. my fiance and i were getting ready to move into our condo for reals but the place needed some extreme TLC asap. we did a quick search for cleaning on yelp and found that other yelpers were not disappointed with daisy so we gave her a call. daisy showed up at our doorstep within hours of our call to give us a free estimate. she only needed to give each room a quick glance before giving us a flat rate that we were both excited and suspicious of. suspicious because other cleaners' rates were exorbitantly high. but we trusted her reviews and gave her the green light. daisy and her helper came the very next day and cleaned top to bottom, side to side in about 5 hours. sinks, toilets, walls, and kitchen that we'd deemed biohazards were left sparkling clean and fragrant. though we don't have much experience with other cleaners, we'd definitely go with daisy again in the future, hands down. tip: if you need grout cleaning, be sure to let her know beforehand as she has a special machine for that at an extra (small) charge =] thanks daisy!! read more
