The restaurant is not beat up like another review said. The store is nice and clean. The food came out fast and hot. The order was correct. This is a typical DQ in the summer. Clean store, good food and high school kids working a summer job. DQ, that's what I like about Texas!!! read more

The Bacon Cheese Hungr-Buster was the best burger I'd had at DQ in many years. My wife enjoyed her Dude (chicken-fried steak sandwich). They made me a perfect chocolate shake - not too thick and not too thin. DQ makes best chocolate shakes in the world; I only wish they came in a larger size. read more

They had some dumb bitch in a grey Tacoma allowing the line to be held up while she sat at the window. It's common sense to have someone that orders everything on the goddamn menu to pull around and park so everyone else's orders can be fulfilled. If Yelp allowed to leave negative star reviews, I'd slap -5 in a heartbeat because the staff at this DQ have NO common sense whatsoever. read more

If you like to wait 20+ minutes for the wrong food this is your place. Terribly slow for absolutely no reason.

The absolute most worst management I've ever seen at a Dairy Queen. They're shift leads are rude inconsiderate I will never be back to Dairy Queen in Sterling city read more

This was honestly one of the worst fast-food experiences I've had. The service was painfully slow even though there were barely any customers. Employees were standing around talking while orders piled up, and no one seemed to care. When I finally got my food, it was wrong and cold, which is pretty unacceptable for a place that's supposed to be fast food. The restaurant itself looked dirty--tables weren't wiped down, the floor was sticky, and it didn't feel like cleanliness was a priority at all. For how much they charge, the quality and service were nowhere near worth it. I won't be going back anytime soon, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone expecting decent service. read more

Always have to wait 15 plus minutes for an order that isn't ice cream related. Ice maker is typically broken and when you need more ice, they have to hey it from the behind the counter and act irritated. Been there twice now in the drive thru and they can't take my order because they don't have water. When it's busy on Sundays, the staff is overworked, not friendly, and customers are irritated because of wait times. Not a pleasant place to eat or enjoy. Save your time and drive on by. read more

The service at this Dairy Queen was really disappointing. The people working the front counter were rude and unprofessional, and it felt like they didn't care about customers at all. One employee with their hair in a bun and bright color showing in the back looked sloppy and didn't follow basic appearance standards. Orders took forever, and when I asked a question, I was met with attitude. Definitely not the friendly experience Dairy Queen is supposed to have read more

The young lady working the window was so rude. Eye rolls, huffing when taking our order, and jerking the money out of our hands. And when we had the second girl come to the window she was just as rude with an attitude. read more

I had two people in front of me and the cashier took their orders. He turned around without saying a word and started doing other things. There were three people working and not one of them said anything to me. After 5 minutes of being ignored. I got one of the girls attention and ask her if she could see me or was I invisible. She took my order and ignored everything. I said it would be nice if you would tell customers you will be with you in a few minutes. She stated that they were busy, I said I know you're busy but it only takes a second to say you'll be with somebody in a few minutes. I could tell the girl was mad at me. There was no problem with my order when I got it. read more

Place is a disaster. There needs to be a manager at the location on Sunday. Took 45 minutes to get food then food was overcooked and cold. Never again read more

Avoid at all cost. Worst DQ in Texas. Started with sitting in the drive thru maybe 5 minutes before me saying "hello?" To get an answer. Ordered my food having to repeat everything and clarifying again. Felt very little confidence that the order was correct. Got to the window and the gal was struggling with getting the order in the computer- NBD. Figured maybe she is new. Finally paid and got my receipt, and of course the order is wrong. Again, no big deal- I didn't want a combo but was getting a combo. Hanging out waiting, and she brings me my blizzard. I let her know that's not my blizzard- it was not what I ordered and it looked disgusting. Again verified what I ordered, and she continued to argue and say I was wrong. I asked if I could get something else instead since we disagreed on ingredients of the blizzard. She told me she would have to charge me if I wanted something else. At this point, I'm frustrated. I hand her the blizzard back and tell her to cancel my whole friggin order. I set my receipt on the window sill as she now starts to say "let me get the manager" with an attitude. And I proceed to leave before wasting any more of my time at this place. read more

food was absolute ass. terrible service. workers there are unprofessional and disrespectful.

I think this is probably the slowest DQ I have ever been to... the gentleman who took our order was pleasant, but it went downhill from there. We only ordered tacos and it took almost 30 minutes to get our food. And our tacos were pretty scimpy and not full at all. Very disappointing. read more

Riley Lovelace was yelling at me for no reason I was being harassed by multiple workers

Everyone I have talked to about this place complained but it just might be because there are really no food places in this town. Very unprofessional. Staff needs an upgrade. We're in the middle of a pandemic and none of the staff was wearing their masks properly. A member of the staff, Stephanie came over to our table UNMASKED and TOUCHED MY CHILD. I have a two year old this is not okay during a pandemic. We finally ordered, staff again didn't care. They make you wait while they handle drive through because the man taking orders as well who didn't wear a mask didn't want to get up from another table. The man came over to us while we were eating without a mask and pestered us about buying a cake. He would NOT take no for an answer even after we stated it three times. When we ordered almost everything was incorrect, asked for no tomato in a salad. And got tomato. We ordered blizzards and they messed up the sizes. They don't repeat orders back and they don't take their job seriously. read more

Ordered 2 banana splits. Ice cream was all soupy and melted by the time we got the order to the car. Hot and fresh! We split a Dude meal, with an additional FRESH brewed Community Coffee (Cafe Special roast). The young fella working the counter was west Texas polite! The Dude was very tasty, the fries hot and crisp. I should have ordered two! They didn't have any coffee brewed, but in DQ fashion brewed it to order! Well stop here again! Now, on to Midland! read more

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! Stopped by to grab lunch and waiting behind someone in line we watched TWO different employees handle the register / touch and count money then go to the back and touch the burgers and food with their bare hands without washing their hands. I don't expect these places to be top tier but it takes 2 minutes to wash your hands or put on some gloves before handling the publics food. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! We left immediately and empty handed. read more

Do not stop at this Dairy Queen, it was very very disappointing to see for teens playing around while my grandson and I waited. 45 minutes later a girl came to out booth and said I'm sorry we don't have French fries! Umm my grandson ordered chili cheese fries and I ordered nachos it took them 45 minutes to notify us , while they waited on numerous customers at the window that were also probably waiting.. I'm sure small towns have a hard time with employees however customer service is still required! Drive a little further and go to San Angelo.. read more

just now Imagine this: you just spent 14 hours at work, 80 meters in the air, you're exhausted, and all you want to do is take your family for a burger and Blizzard. But then you get to Dairy Queen, and it all goes downhill from there. Distracted, snotty teenagers taking orders in between flirting with other customers and each other. Needing to repeat myself several times. Long, let me repeat, long wait times. My order had a few problems. The burger in the kids meal was completely wrong. The fries were old. Not cold- but chewy and tough. No fresh fry is chewy and tough. They're crisp and tender on the inside. When we asked to have the order corrected the server complied, but we were stared at by other workers and a couple of customers the workers were talking to. In the end we waited over 25 minutes for our food. One Blizzard was supposed to have chocolate ice cream, it did not. If this DQ doesn't have chocolate that's fine, but we should have been told. Otherwise the order is wrong. My son's cheeseburger was smashed and over cooked. My burger was over cooked, but not as badly as his was. The employees of this store were mocking. Whoever the young man was who walked out of the kitchen to replace our 2 medium fries with a box of them and a "bottle of ketchup. Here ya go, Hoss" was even more condescending and sarcastic than the little girl who got irritated first. Guess what? We "fat old people" you flexed your arms at and laughed at as you turned away, won't be back. Neither will anyone on my crew, or my sub contractors. read more

Unprofessional, lazy, unfriendly staff. I wanted to try the new special advertised online and on tv called "cheese burger lovers." I was met with a blank look and "o...kay, I don't know what you're talking about. We don't have that." So, I pulled it up on my phone. She got her supervisor. They both looked at each other, whispered, giggled, then the supervisor person said , "oh...yeah...that deal. It was only a 3 day special, and we don't have it anymore." I said it just came out, and I just saw it advertised. The supervisor shuffled through blank pages on a clipboard as if looking for something. "No, we don't have it." They laughed, and she walked away. I asked, "can't you just make a similar burger?" How hard is it to make a beef, cheese, ketchup burger?! Just prepare it that way and charge for a combo meal. More dumb looks and giggles seemingly toward other customers. Anyway, I ordered a blizzard that was dripping and melting when it came out. This is the worst Dairy Queen. It's dirty and needs attention. I should've just got a burrito at the gas station. I did do that later on. I guess they think they're the only game in town. read more

Been stopping here for years as I go this route often. Today I walked in, ordered a drink and a blizzard. There was one other order ahead of me. They finished that order and stood around. Finally someone asks me what I was waiting on. I asked if they had forgotten and was told the screen does not show what I ordered. What kind of a system is that? Anyway, I was already running behind and told them to forget it. One guy said he would make it and I said again forget it - I didn't have time. I was alone and can't drive and eat! No one offered a refund so I simply left. Will find a new place to stop from now on. Do not appreciate being ripped off because of incompetence read more

Stopped by for a burger and I have to say that the young lady and gentleman working were not only the nicest people I've ever met at a Dairy Queen but they were also caring!
