all the reviews for this dairy queen are 1 star and everyone's saying that the food is cold and undercooked, service is slow, employees are rude, and the blizzards come out melted. but every time i go my food is always piping hot, blizzards thick, service is at a regular pace, and the employees just do their jobs.... idk maybe they got better but i don't have a bad review for this place lol read more

Horrible customer service I would like to say the food was still cold and I got chicken strips that were not even fully cooked. A woman named Brianiya should be fired and this unacceptable. She asked what I wanted And I did not even finish my order and she was already saying the price. My husband order 2 tacos that were in the bottom of the bag. I did not even know you can make a bag taco! But anyways she does not even say that my food is ready or anything she just puts the bag on the counter and does not say anything. As a customer am I able to ask if this my bag and she just shrugged and said mhm! Horrible customer service Highly do not recommend. This was my sons first time at Dairy Queen and the young girl taking the orders should be fired or should resign immediately. Working in the fast food business you have to have the right personality. Im not sure who made her mad but from another review, maybe she is just mad all the time. Idk but you dont cut people's heads off when they are ordering their food. I wont be returning. Restaurant was so hot, ac must have not been working. Manager was entertaining family. Girl that took our order was not nice. Our food was ready before money was in register. All stale. At least the one in Sugarland is terrible! I had not gone to a Dairy Queen for a burger and soft serve in many years! And I remember when I used to live in The Chicago area how good the hamburgers were also the creamy soft serve! What a disappointment! That's a big NOPE. I have been through the drive through twice, the first time alone and the man who handed me my ice cream was rude and short with me. He thrust the ice cream cone through my window like he would put it in my face. The second time my daughter had been to the doctors office and begged for Dairy Queen on the way home. Again the same rude man at the window was awful. My roommate went through and says if you have a nut allergy do not eat or drink anything from this place. They cross contaminate with the nuts. My daughter and I had an urge for Dairy Queen's Blizzard soft serve this afternoon. The Blizzard got to be the best fast food junk snack in U.S.A. It is cold, sweet, and cheap, better than a milk shake or malt. Since there is no Daily Queen in our outpost, we drove over to the next town down HWY 90. Daughter got Oreo Blizzard and I got the Pumpkin Blizzard. Good stuff, just what we need to satisfy our urge for a cold and sweet snack. I went to Dairy Queen around 7:00 pm on Monday. It was fairly dead in there, only 2 people eating in the dining area. The place was really clean from what I could tell. The girl took our order, which we got the Blizzard Meal deal. She failed to ask us if we wanted the blizzard with our meal or later, no big deal. My food arrived quickly and was really hot. The food was what I expected from a local fast food joint. When she brought us the food, she asked if we could like our blizzard now. We also let her know she forgot to give us a cup for our drink. She apologized and quickly retrieved our cup. The experience here was what was expected from Dairy Queen. The place was dead, so dead the girl just leaned on the counter and messed around on her cell phone. I would eat here again. read more

My experience was terrible I took the drive thru I order my meal reached the window just to over hear the worker say "I gave him the wrong..." didn't hear the rest so to my assumption I have the wrong meal and man was I right. I get home everything is all wrong. So yeah I've been here twice and twice they've screwed up my order. Both times were Sunday evenings. First time we went inside and ordered 3 orders of chicken fingers, a large ice cream and a medium one. We got 2 orders of chicken fingers and one large ice cream. They forgot to order and charge me for the 3rd meal and they forgot to make my ice cream. So I had to reorder my 3rd meal, wait for that plus wait for them to make my ice cream. I got the 3rd order and then they gave me my ice cream---small. I had paid for a medium. My toddler was getting fussy so we left. It was not well made so the ice cream melted fast. Oh and their fries were flesh colored and tasteless. I like mine golden crispy on the outside soft inside and slightly salty. Second time we went through drive thru. I ordered a mint with chocolate cookies ice cream. I got cookies and cream... I didn't realize it until halfway home I tasted it and was like how come mine isn't minty? Only came once to this place, and never coming back. My one and only visit, I took the drive-thru! Mistake#1: taking the drive thru! The guy took forever to acknowledge me and by the time he did, 10-15 minutes have passed by. I drive by the window, hes working on somebody else's order! Mistake #2: giving the drive-thru guy my money. Is waited 15 while the guy in front of me gets his order. Then he started attending to something else when I got to the window. Waited like 15 more minutes and got something that didn't wow me at all. Totally not worth my time, shoulda just left before then. Wouldn't have gone thru drive thru but couldn't find entrance to this place, which I later found is all the way to the right and somewhat obscurely hidden in front of Shipley's. This is the most frustrating place I've ever been. We have been here about 10 x in the last 6 months. We go through the drive thru for ice cream treats - dilly bars, ice cream sandwiches, etc. We tried again today. I don't know why we bothered. Went through the drive thru and the guy was super rude just taking my order had an attitude when I was asking questions.. gave me nachos with a little bit of cheese and no jalapeños.. I got to the pay window and asked for some spoons and peanuts for the sundae his answer was peanuts are extra and I was like ok.. and then he tells me I'm too busy for this I'll give them to you... I don't know if this is the only person working there because the restaurant was empty and there was one car behind me so good thing he works there because he wouldn't be able to handle McDonald's traffic. I went in this Rosenberg DQ on a Wednesday evening recently for a sundae, placed my order, paid for it, went and sat down, I waited a good 15-20 minutes and still had not received my ice cream. It was so hot in the there and the guy working the counter talked the entire time to another customer. I finally went and asked for a refund and explained that it shouldn't take that long for ice cream and how hot and miserable it was in there.He refunded my money and the shift manager approved it and sadly they weren't even apologetic. The next Thursday I decided to go to the drive thru for a blizzard (I like DQ ice cream and my fix had not been satisfied) ;) I ordered a medium and recieved a small and it was more like a shake instead of a blizzard. My family and I went to Dairy Queen tonight after my kids waited all day. The cashier had no clue what she was doing and we ordered very basic blizzards. They came out to our table very slowly and one at a time finally mine came out I ordered the salted Carmel truffle when it came out it was melted and was more like milk with a gloop of Carmel and some chocolate on top. I asked for a refund they gave it to me but no apology. There are many other places to get ice cream in Rosenburg I will definitely never come back to Dairy Queen read more
