Literally the best Dairy Queen I have ever had. So good. Crystal who helped us at the counter was friendly and helpful!

They do not give senior or veterans discounts.So I will not recommend them and I would never do business with them again.

Okay... let me start by saying, the reviews that are years old on this app for this Refugio location, are still accurate and on point. KEEP DRIVING AND SKIP this location and go up the road (8-10 mins) to the Woodsboro DQ. This location was a disaster. We order two burgers. One was okay, and the other was COLD and didn't have the cheese we paid for. Went back in and the person behind the cooking area tried to say it didn't have cheese on the order. I asked cashier for print out receipt, and lo and behold...it HAD Single American cheese slice. They did remake my burger... but it was extra greasy unlike the cold one I had received first. I feel they purposely made it extra greasy, which is so so wrong. I will be reporting this location to corporate. They need training. And the store was gross and dirty. There were flies flying around the food that was being put on the trays for their dine in customers. read more

If you in a hurry don't come by here. Dairy Queen has two persons working in front and one in the kitchen. It's nice if you are not in a hurry but I waited in line for over 20 minutes. read more

Young lady working drive thru was rude. 26apr22 249pm she told me to pull my car up to pay when I was still ordering. asked for extra cheesecake chunks and got like 3 pieces in my whole shake. Only one in restaurant and three employees decided to hang out and talk after taking my order. I had to ask the manager why my blizzard wasn't being made. She couldn't give me an answer. Full of employees that obviously don't want to work. Go to the DQ in the next town and save yourself the trouble. read more

The WORST customer service I've ever experienced. The lady that was taking my order through the drive thru was very unfriendly and had a horrible attitude. When i went up to the window she said "YOU got all of my orders messed up" LOL. I will never go back to this dairy queen again and i do not recommend ordering from here. We stopped at this DQ on the way home from Port A and I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the restaurant and bathrooms. The restaurant had plenty of large party tables. The variety of soda was better than a typical DQ including Diet Dr. Pepper and Sprite Zero in their fountain machines. The food was delicious as expected. Came through the drivethru with my family on our way back to kingsville, the wait is HORRIBLE. They made us pull up to the front fence to wait, 20 minutes later, not even the people in front of us got their food. It's absolutely ridiculous. The workers in their are just taking their sweet time. When we gave the guy a drink back because it was the wrong one, he gave a big sigh and rolled his eyes. They need to get new employees and have a new management system. read more

Passed by to get some food from Houston to Corpus. Worst customer experience i've ever received. No hellos, no thank yous, no eye contact, there was one employee in particular named Veronica. She was rude, moved at the slowest pace, messed up my boyfriends order. Did not care about us or the other guests in the slightest. No music was playing which is alright but combined with the employees attitude, it felt like we were eating at a graveyard. We contemplated for 10 minutes whether it was safe to order a blizzard in fear the machines weren't cleaned or of employees dirty habits. Corporate needs to whip this store in shape. read more

Every time I come to this DQ, it's filthy. Today the outside trash was overflowing. The fountain lids and straws weren't stocked, nor was the salsa bar stocked or fresh. There was one cashier taking orders (on a Friday afternoon), with a long line. She was unfriendly and didn't seem like she wanted to be at work. We stopped here on our way back to Houston and were so disgusted we didn't stay to order. There were dead bugs all over the lights and ground in front of the door which of course got tracked into the store. There was trash all over the floor and the bathrooms were filthy. Then there were live bugs and flies all over the inside. We were disgusted and left. read more

Stopped at this Dairy Queen on the way to corpus and was pleasantly surprised with the quick service not typical of a Dairy Queen. The restaurant was huge with large round tables for a big group. The food was delivered quickly and just like we ordered. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. By far the best Dairy Queen I've ever visited. read more

Parked by the side door w/handicap placard, when attempting to order, I was told by some stupid young girl behind the counter to move my car, said it wasn't a parking space??? Well they lost another customer to the Woodsboro store, greeted there by friendly staff, so based on all the bad reviews, pass the Refugio store up for the Woodsboro store!
