I usually eat hamburger patties with cheese at Whataburger, but this McDonald's was inside where I had to get gas so I thought I'd give them a try and compare. The first thing I noticed the beef patties are less expensive than Whataburger but the cheese is more so overall it's about the same here as Whataburger. Total with a drink was The cleanliness Inside was about a C I'd say. Lots of flies inside on the tables and most of the tables had napkins, discarded receipts, and other junk on them and were not clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. My patties were ok but had an off taste I couldn't quite identify? Maybe like vegetable oil? I'm not sure. Overall I can't compare this to other McDonalds as I do not normally eat at them. I may try again just to compare others with this one for flavor. read more

Terrible! I got to many McDonald's because I have young kids. I can handle mistakes and wait time but this place was ridiculous. It took 37 minutes to get our food. We were on our way to corpus and stopped for what should've been a quick snack. To top it all off, my order was wrong and I was missing all my fries and we had already drove off. It was the girl in the second window with glasses who kept pulling her mask down below her mouth to speak. She gave us 4/5 of our drinks and then handed us a kids meal. She came back with our bag of food and I told her we were missing the kids drink and she said "I'm not done yet." Um okay, I was just telling her before she closed the window on us. I continued to say "Also the kids bbq wasn't in the kids meal" and she said "I know, I said I wasn't done." And closed the window. She came back with bbq sauce and the drink and closed the window immediately. We looked and didn't see straws or napkins so we had to knock on the window. Plus our bun was extremely burnt! i'm so annoyed i didn't even want to put a star but i had to to make this review!! no fast food place should be this slow. my family and I just got back from the beach and I are heading home and on our way home. We thought we would make a quick trip to McDonald's to get some food. The drive-through ended up with nobody taking our order in this wedding about 20 minutes just for our order to be taken. Once our order got taken, we had to wait even longer for them to give us our order so they pulled us to curbside and they literally had no one else in line?!! it looked as if honestly, they just didn't care. my caramel frappe didn't have extra caramel drizzle in it like I asked for and my mothers chicken sandwich was spicy when she asked for the regular deluxe chicken sandwich. they didn't give us our water nor are straws. So to begin with, at first they were not till busy. I ordered an Egg White Delight and did not receive it with white cheddar. I took it back and got the same thing so I return it again only for a member of the management team to tell me that they "discontinued that and they don't even have that cheese". There were approximately 8 to 10 people working in the back, which based on most McDonald's restaurants I have seen, that is a full crew. If you're looking to get in a bad mood, this is the place to do it! I stopped on my drive home from visiting my mom and wanted something quick to eat on the road and not waste so much time. This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. The last two Saturdays customers as well as myself have waited 20-30 minutes to get our orders. The staff are very slow and there were alot of employees working. I watched one young man two Saturdays come in and take 10 minutes to clock in and walk so slow to get on the line to help the other workers as all the people were standing waiting for their orders. The staff visit with each other instead of help their customers. I went last night and got cool fries that tasted like old oil, I went this morning and got cold hashbrowns. I've tried over and over and either the order is wrong or the temperature of the food is not good. This concerns me when the food temperature isn't good. This can cause customers to get sick. The workers preparing our food were not wearing masks, technically they were but they were around their neck instead of their faces. However they are requiring their customers to wear masks on their face. The beverage station has a large sign in front of it stating that it is not to be used due to the COVID county order. When we asked for our drink the worker handed us a cup and walked away. I asked her if I was supposed to use the drink station and she said yeah, with attitude, and returned to her previous conversation turning her back to me.
