So if you think this is a normal Dairy Queen think again. They made it all fancy on the outside and you walk into an un-remodeled dated area (think swivel wooded chairs). The issue I have is unless it's listed on their menu board then they don't have it. I wanted a basic peanut butter shake even asked cashier can you make that get told yes to then be told we don't carry peanut butter sauce. So then they say if it's not listed on the board you can't order... how if you can charge me and the system registers this item do you not carry that item? read more

The food is good that's the only good part. The workers have played around and thrown cups at their friends. They won't take orders till about 15 mins after. For 6 blizzard it took almost an hour. This has happened 3 times. The reviews are very spot on. When we visited the person who took our order was socializing with someone who didn't even come to order food. Then finally took our order. Upon taking our order cashier acted as if we were a burden for even coming here. 3 blizzards were ordered and within 15 mins we received one blizzard with no upside down test. Then the cashier told the person making our order "oh yeah they ordered two more" we then waited another 15 mins for the next two that were also not upside down tested and melting. Yes, as others have noted 1) the facility is dated and 2) they are under staffed. Our order took forever because there were only two employees in the place, and a line in the drive through and people inside. So now you see how Berkshire Hathaway makes all that money. They just milk these cash cows. Anyway... the ice cream was great. Who doesn't love a blizzard or a soft-serve vanilla cone? Remember, this is "Dairy Queen"... ice cream... get it? This location is hit or miss Tacos & nachos never taste fresh ( especially taco meat) Onion rings & fries are often cooked way to hard It's sad when small towns can't provide edible fast food! The worst DQ in the planet!!!! I caution every anybody who orders a peanut buster parfait. Do you understand the parfait will only vanilla ice cream with maybe a little bit of hot fudge and peanuts in the bottom of the cup. The burger was cardboard worst burger I've ever had, chicken strips were already ripped apart and they didn't close the gravy cup so everything was covered in it. Parts of the DQ are blocked off, so all the seating is in one section... apparently with a bench that isn't fastened down so it shakes with the least movement. We got blizzards. I got a flavor we've gotten at 4 or 5 different DQs and it's been pretty consistent, here it tasted different. They weren't as full as we normally get elsewhere, and the person who fixed it didn't do the upside down thing.... not that I really care, but I did notice she didn't do it, and those blizzards probably would have fallen out. (I like it a bit softer, so that wasn't a complaint) Then a bit later the manager made one for someone, and it was like he was showing off, he held the blizzard upside down, shook it, talked to the guy who bought it, who asked for his blizzard 3 or 4 times, the manager apparently wanted the guy to say it looks good... because the guy didn't get the blizzard until repeated whatever it was the manager said... If I could give negative stars this place would get it. To start we waited 20 minutes to order, then he kid over charged us by 20.00 on our credit card ( the same thing happened to the lady after us) and they had no idea how to fix the problem so they gave us cash back. We then waited over 25 minutes for ice cream. I went up to ask and the "manager " person yelled at the kid who took our order... I then watched him wander seeming very confused about how to make the blizzards and what went in them. My step daughter and I got ours.. my husband waited at least another 5 minutes until I asked what the problem was. The kid did not know how to make the "Hawaiian" ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So it was almost an hour until we all got our ice cream. On top of that the place was run down and dirty. I called the manager three times and no response.
