6.6.25 Zero stars really! We only came in for a blizzard and a cherry dipped cone. We waited 20 minutes for dipped cone was only half of the ice cream cone was dipped and the blizzard was just ok. The service was TERRIBLE. There was only 2 other tables with customers inside and they all had their food. So we don't know what took so long for our order. A young boy told them they were out of ketchup in the pump and the guy said ok. Then went and took the little cups away instead of refilling the ketchup. Ridiculous. This last time we came we had hungerbuster and they were the WORST we have ever had at a DQ! We thought maybe that was a one time thing so we came back to try this location again. So my son and I wanted blizzard. Order 2 from drive thru and pulled up. One car in front of us. Sat there for about 10 mins. So I went in. Figured I would just get them as they should have been ready. Wrong. The car ahead if. E had a huge to go order and it wasn't ready. And they hadn't fixed my blizzards either. I asked, who appeared to be the mgr, why mine weren't ready and she said I hadn't paid yet. Really?!?! So I'm gonna have to spend another 5 mins after I get to the window? I wanna start off by saying that I have fond memories Dairy Queen going back to my childhood I always enjoyed their menu items and I look forward to having my cherry Dr Pepper and my belt buster sandwiches, but that being said I think it's time to swear off dairy queens in small towns, they're always bad and I always get burned. On this particular visit I ordered a steak basket after waiting in line (which is always slow) I would say approximately five minutes I put in my order and not surprisingly they asked me to pull over so that I could get out of the way of the drive-thru line while they made my lunch. What disturbed me is as I sat in the parking lot and waited for somebody to bring my lunch instead the employees decided to go on break and left my lunch sitting on the grill order up counter. For at least five minutes (perhaps longer) and did not attempt to bring it to me until after waiting a total of I would say roughly 15 minutes I went up to the counter and ask them to hand me my food. I had a similar bad experience in Brownsville Texas about a year ago and I'm just fed up. I'm sorry Dairy Queen I can't see you in small towns ever again because you always let me down. read more

Looking to get a little ice cream for my ride home from Navasota to The Woodlands. Well that is exactly what I got. I purchased the small cone which showed on the menu to have 2 large swirl scoops. Well I received about 1 1/2 small swirl scoops and a very deceiving cone. The top part of the cone was normal size but the bottom part which had the napkin around it was like miniature in size. I hate when the picture doesn't match with what I receive. The ice cream cone lasted me about 3 minutes. Oh well for enjoying it on my ride home. It never made it to the feeder road. Plus it was thin in texture and $1.73 w/ tax. Next time I think I'll stop at the mini mart and buy gummy worms or something sweet that lasts more than 3 minutes. While in DQ I also noticed their combo meals were $6.00 - $7.00. I think hyperinflation has hit this DQ. Plus the inside was very dated and dirty. My picture probably looks bigger because I took it very close up. But trust me if your cone lasts 5 minutes you'll be setting a record. Advice - Better off going to Culvers read more

The man who helped me had a huge nasty hickey!!!! I mean I couldn't tell if it was him talking to me or the hickey!!!. My chocolate shakes hadn't even been mixed!!! Also I guess they have to milk a cow to get the ice cream cause I waited at least 15 min for 2 chocolate shakes, if I hadn't already had paid I would have left. God knows what they were doing. This is my second every eating at this location. The first time was just fine, they were busy which made me feel more comfortable eating here in contrary to the low stars on yelp. They took my order and got my food which was all good. However, I went here for the second time and I probably won't ever go back. If it came to me not eating dinner yet and everything was closed I would drive to college station before coming here. The first issue is while ordering I asked for a pink lemonade and was told they only had regular. Which seems odd because my first time coming earlier in the week I had pink lemonade for my drink. I also tried to order Jalitos and the girl taking my order in the drive thru said they weren't anymore of those for the night. Not sure why because it wasn't closing time. So really it just seemed like she didn't want to make anymore. What's the difference in dropping those in the grease like they have to drop fries? Once I got to the drive thru window the girl had such an attitude. I really felt like I was bothering her by ordering food. She kept starring at my as she took my credit card and what she asked if I wanted a receipt, I said no, she just said "What?". And I said no again. The uncomfortable encounter continued when she opened the window back to give me my food and said ok, goodnight. With the continued blank stare that she just wanted me to leave. And when I began to mention I still needed my drink she said yeah and shut the window. Again the feeling that I just bothered her so much, continued. And she finally came back and handed me my drink then shut the window without a word. Feeling like I bothered her was so much that I didn't even drink my drink because I felt like I made her angry by mentioning the drink that I paid for and should obviously get, I didn't want to risk drink it if she had done something to it. I get working fast food sucks but I'm sure when she goes to get food she hopes people don't use the same "we don't have it", or "we are out of the", line to keep from having to pt effort in. The biggest issue is how I was treated just because I came and ordered food. That's literally your job. I don't cut corners and treat people bad a my job when I don't feel like being there. Just ate here and overheard the drive-thru employees talking about "I hope he doesn't look at his receipt." This was about them adding charges on there that the man did not consent to. Slooooooooooow. No one smiles. Hubby commented Marvin Zindler would have a fit at this location. This is a tiny place and they couldn't find us to bring our food, so then they deleted our order. This location was once a 1 hour stop just for a burger and fries (so of you had a 30 minute lunch break you avoided this location) but under the new management they now get you quality Diary Queen minu items at a pace that allows us 30 minute luncherz to enjoy the foodz again. Would eat here much more often but they have terrible rude service people. Got the window slammed in my face today because the girl did not get my order right. I knew she would not when i ordered over the phone, she coutinuously talked over me while taking my order. This is a shame because Dairy Queen has great food but this particular Dairy Queen always seems to have rude counter help who look and act like you are putting them out to place or pick up your order. This is probably the place with the worst customer service I've received. I ordered a dipped cone and it was made wrong, a girl walked up and was really sweet and offered to remake the cone for me which was fine, the girl asked if we wanted the cone and we politely declined, so the girl who had taken my order said "I'll take it". I was handed my cone and was satisfied until a different girl came over and asked for my receipt, inciting that I didn't pay for it. I handed the receipt over with no problem and when I asked for the receipt back I was told to pull around and never got it back. I went inside to get my receipt back and it had blue splotches all over it like something was sprayed on it, when I smelled it it was perfume, why are they spraying perfume in a restaurant?? In conclusion don't come at night. I come during the daytime with no problem with any of my orders, Richard is so nice and runs a tight ship during the day. At least the cone was good. read more
