Her answer was she only gives it to the regulars. And that we got a free sandwich. Make sure you download their app as well because they run occasional freebies and promotions. My main gripe about Tropical Smoothie Cafe is their prices because most smoothies end up being around $8 after taxes. They do use fresh fruit and ingredients, which can help justify the prices. If it's your first time here, definitely give the Mango Monsoon or Detox Island Green a try; they are both refreshing and flavorful! I also tried the Cali breakfast flatbread with grilled chicken, and it was toasted well and flavorful. There wasn't much grilled chicken included, and there could have been more avocado as well. Overall, Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a good addition to Edinburg, so keep an eye out for any promotions that they run!
