The "sundae" wasn't anything special, but both ice creams had excellent texture and a punch of flavor (ground coffee was a perfect touch in the cold brew). Our server was incredibly cold (no pun intended ); it was a busy evening outside but a quiet moment inside. Without a hint of a smile, we were asked three times if we were ready to order, even as we explained we were visiting for the first time and tried to be friendly. The other person working rescued the situation by being kind and initiating welcoming banter. We would definitely go back for the ice cream (and may, since we've discovered two more shops in towns we will pass through), but I'd encourage some work on customer service in the Missoula spot to match the quality of the product!

The ice cream was good but did leave me wanting a little more. The Chocolate Love flavor was chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips. The chocolatey-ness could have been richer, and I wish there was some fudge or brownie bits or something else to really make it shine. I do appreciate so many of the options are GF. Overall, the ice cream was very enjoyable. The prices are fair and the place was clean, smelled of fresh waffle cones, and was a great place to hang out.

She got a Bluetooth speaker that looked like a cassette tape and I got a Gilmore Girls coffee mug. We got a table quickly next to a window which was really nice. Our server, I forget her name but she was pregnant, was wonderful! I'm doling a star because the quality of food was abysmal. My daughter loved her cocoa, and her pancakes. She's a VERY picky eater, so I'm really happy about this. But my food was dry, flavorless, and unappetizing. The "green beans" specifically were just disgusting. They were basically liquid. I couldn't even pick them up with a fork. I would guess they were canned and/or sat in a pot for 30 hours...

This happened in front of my kids…read more Urgent Escalation: Severe Discrimination, Staff Misconduct, and Gross Sanitary Violations Against a VIP Rewards MemberDear Cracker Barrel Corporate Guest Relations Team, l am writing to you under deeply distressing circumstances to formally log a serious complaint regarding an experience my mother endured at one of your restaurant locations. My mother is a loyal Cracker Barrel VIP Rewards Member, and the treatment she was subjected to by your staff was not only profoundly unprofessional but explicitly discriminatory, cruel, and a violation of basic human dignity. The incident began when my mother used the guest restroom, which was completely neglected and poorly maintained. There was zero toilet paper available in the stall, and the trash receptacles were heavily overfilled. Because of the store's failure to maintain basic sanitary standards, my mother was forced to use napkins to wipe herself. While she was dealing with this already stressful and uncomfortable situation, she was met with extreme hostility from your staff. An employee named Cassidy openly expressed disgust, audibly saying "ugh" and treating my mother with utter contempt, acting as though she was completely beneath them or carrying some sort of infection. Furthermore, another employee named Anna behaved with blatant disrespect, acting remarkably rude, and flatly refused to speak to a Black American. To dehumanize a customer-especially a recognized VIP loyalty member--neglect basic facility sanitation, and explicitly refuse service or communication based on race is completely unacceptable and illegal under public accommodation laws. No customer, let alone a loyal guest and an elderly or vulnerable parent, should ever be treated like garbage or subjected to blatant racial discrimination by representatives of your company. This matter requires immediate,

But that's where the good news ends. Ordered the Blackberry Brûlée, 24 oz, for $10.10, and it tasted like cold milk with a hint of coffee hiding somewhere. For ten bucks, I want to actually taste the espresso, not hunt for it. Got the tip prompt at the window too, before I'd even tried anything -- a little awkward as a first-timer. Biscuits and gravy was very disappointing: Biscuits- hard, chewy but the taste was good if that makes sense. Actually had to use my knife to cut the biscuit properly over cooked or warmed in a microwave?? For the Elk gravy- it was disgusting, there was a couple small specks of meat to be found. But it was over powering taste of onions. They should call it Onion gravy because that's all you can taste and no meat. Definitely don't not recommend the biscuit and gravy! The rest of the breakfast was fine and tasty. Coffee is very strong and bold flavor. Not for the weak of heart. A lot of people have commented on the wait time for their food. So we had about a 15 minute wait to get seated and the food took 40 minutes from the time we ordered until it arrived at the table. Will I go back? Yes I want to try some more of the food. My coffee was never refilled, nor was there an offer of a refill on my black coffee until they literally brought the check. And then, after receiving less than stellar service, when they saw that I wasn't tipping on my credit card was actually verbally scoffed at with expectation by the waitress who was processing the card to the point where it made my wife uncomfortable, and she had to tell them that there was a cash tip on the table. Had I known their behavior would continue to be so abhorrent towards their customers I wouldn't have bothered to leave a cash tip either. Unfortunately, the food is great, but the atmosphere is about as good as an outhouse in summer. As a Missoula native and longtime liquid planet customer, we won't be spending any more money with that business, or any of their other locations.
