My wife and my son love their Hot Fudge Sundae. I honestly think all their flavors are delicious ! Customer service is great and I have zero complaints. I had in my calendar to come to get my free DQ cone - I went here with my teen son. They were as pleasant as pleasant could be! We got a vanilla cone and a chocolate cone! Don't usually indulge but I figured the one time for an excuse, this would be it! Employees were very friendly. Clean store. And they all had smiles. Came here recently and asked for a medium size soft serve cup of ice cream. What I got was a tall thin column of ice cream which never filled the bottom of the cup nor touched the sides. This was more like a small. Someone needs to train these employees on how to run the soft serve machine. This was not almost $4.00 worth of ice cream. I'm an older person who is very familiar with D. My kids have really been into Blizzard's over the last couple of weeks and so we've been stopping by quite a few Dairy Queen locations. We were happy to discover this branch by accident after a big shop at the Target next door. First things first, I have to say I am definitely not understanding how this branch has such a low rating. I've been here three times and the ice cream has been really good every time. Also the staff is very nice, mostly young kids who get everything served very quickly. All around, very good experience. No complaints. I will say that, despite the store being clean, there is definitely a depressed vibe there. I assume it's mostly because there's never any customers around, but also the decor is somewhat dated. It also doesn't help that when you walk in, there is a giant freezer case with glass doors and it's not stocked in an optically pleasing manner. It's 50% empty and the rest is a random mix of products. I've also seen a tray of uncovered ice cream sandwiches sitting there which is probably not the best way to store them. Maybe move the freezer to the back? Anyway, 4 stars from me. It's a pretty standard Dairy Queen with quality ice cream. Absolutely as expected. read more

As a preggo, I have been craving a Reeses Peanut Butter cup blizzard. Since we were out with the kids and family Hubby finally agreed to to take us. He wanted to wait until we got to the one by our house and maybe we should have. This place is always very busy. My blizzard was okay but melted so quick. I've ordered a large by my house and it never melted so quickly. As I set there with my kids the picture on the wall fell down almost knocking my daughter over the head before I caught it with it only hitting her arm. The girl at the register looks but doesn't react or say anything until I look at her. I felt she only asked if she was okay because of the pool I gave her. Thought we'd give it a try for "ice cream" as it was close. Felt a little sick with a small blizzard, proved to be too rich and weirdly waxy for me. But that is personal taste. They were running low on caramel truffles in mine as well so was dismayed to see as I dumped the other half down the drain that all the truffles were at the bottom. At least there was a hint of caramel taste. For the price, I'll just pay a little more and get some real ice cream somewhere else. read more

I don't understand all the negative reviews. Servers were friendly and my sundae had a ton of toppings. My partner's blizzard had a ton of m&m s. I came here with my husband because we had a gift card we needed to use. We both got blizzards and they melted relatively fast :( the service was poor too. My main gripe really was how dirty the place is. Just take a look at the ceiling fans. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. read more

While I am normally a large Dairy Queen fan, this place was not worth the visit, even 30 seconds after being served the blizzard, it was already melting. Being that it is October and I have been seeing Pumpkins EVERYWHERE I was jones-ing for Pumkin Pie Blizzard. So I ordered a medium one with whipped cream. The kid behind the counter was very nice. He was efficient and the order was exactly as I ordered it. After my first bite I could taste the pumpkin flavor so at least there is consistency. I tasted the pumpkin flavor throughout the blizzard. I don't think I would order it again because it didn't WOW me. I also gave this 4 stars because of how patient the counter dude was to the customer in front of me. She ordered a cup of water and two hot dogs and he was friendly about it. The place was clean and bright. The fridge could have been a little more organized and had better product placement but overall it was a good visit. Its a miracle I don't go there every day when you consider it is across the street from my house. read more

My daughter got a stomach bug which lasted for 24 hrs. She threw up on the Mint Royal blizzard milk shake after she drank it. We've had this favorite of hers many other times at different DQ locations in the past. The employees don't wear gloves and handle cards and cash then goes to make your food! This place is dark, dingy, dull and dirty. I was surprised to find out that they do not participate in the buy 1 blizzard and get the 2nd on for $.99 like every other Dairy Queens in this country. The guy working there seemed to rush people even if there weren't many people in there and came off kinda rude. Then the blizzard we got was the consistency of a wendy's frosty. Although I'm a DQ addict I find this particular location to be inconsistent at best. Seems like they are always breaking in new servers who lack the ability to smile or even pretend that they want to be there. Each time I come for a blizzard, cone, or peanut buster parfait, which I confess is far too many, I come away feeling like I've been a bother. Even understanding the ingredients would be a step forward - it's Spanish peanuts in the peanut buster NOT chopped peanuts for Pete's sake! Regardless, they are right around the corner from the PGA tour store and I'm unable to visit one without a trip to the other. :-( read more

The ice cream is good, but the people that work there are irresponsible and are completely lost. I have preordered cakes on 2 separate occasions and both times I was left without a cake. The 1st time it happened was for my husband's birthday which said "happy birthday Matt" and which I had preordered because he wanted a blizzard cake, well upon arrival that had told me "oh sorry, we sold it to someone else" I was absolutely speechless. The 2nd occasion happened about 8 months later, I ordered the pizza cake for Father's Day, they asked me when I was going to come pick it up, I told them, they said ok no problem. Upon arriving, they told me "sorry we never made it" again left speechless! How does this happen twice? Of the 5 times here I have encountered the following issues: 1) Out of cheesecake bites 2) Does not honor/accept DQ mobile app promos and coupons promoted by Dairy Queen 3) only had chocolate ice cream This franchise location is very poorly managed. The good: It's a Dairy Queen, and that means some scrumptious ice cream. The bad: They don't honor national Dairy Queen deals & promotions. I found this out after standing in line for a long time with a 4 year-old. Try explaining to a young kiddo that there's no ice cream tonight, because the owner/operator isn't interested in the promotions that are scrolling across the DQ webpage and facebook... I get it, the small print says that promotions are "only available at participating locations" thus, the owner has the right to not participate... Not sure why they'd invoke that option, as on "free cone day" we would've bought 4 blizzards beside the two "free" kids cones. I have never in my life had such an awful experience at any dairy queen location from canada to the use as I did here. After waiting over 11 minutes in line while two teenage boys argued behind the counter in front of customer while trying to make the guests orders we were finally served. we were only third in line. In line which is a short path from the counter to the door, we had to stand in a puddle of water over a foot and a half wide! talk about a hazard. After finally receiving our two blizzards one oreo and one cookie dough brownie the gentlemen handed me back a ten and a five as i went to put them in my wallet i see that they are smeared with chocolate sauce... hes lucky they didnt touch my wallet that would have been a whole other issue. finally we left for home. on our way i thought the oreo blizzard tasted odd. after carefully inspecting the cookies in the blizzard, and examining them next to an actual oreo cookie i come to find out that they arent using real oreos. the " cookies they are using have swirl designs on them and actual round flower shapes with 5 pedals. ive never seen an oreo with this. how disappointing. the place was very hot as well inside and was extremely dirty. I love DQ and since I don't live close to any, I get really excited when I visit the area and can get my fix. Unfortunately, my experience this time was so bad I left without purchasing anything. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely rude and even became aggressive when he made a blizzard we didn't order. Although i gladly agreed to accept the erroneous order thinking maybe he was just overwhelmed with a party of five, his behavior continue to decline.
