We browsed the printed menu and landed on the patty melt and rodeo best burger--a 6 oz. burger jam packed with two types of cheese, mushrooms and all the fixings. It was huge! A side of crinkle cut fries was split between our orders and after seeing the size of the fry order we were glad we decided to share! All burgers on the menu with "rodeo" in the name are 6 oz. in size. A sign on the wall reads, "if you leave hungry it is your fault" and I would tend to agree with the sign's message. Our burgers were juicy, a little messy in a good way, and very filling. Our server was friendly, efficient, and checked on us frequently. We were provided a full set of condiments (see photo) to embellish our already overflowing burgers--something you don't see at your local burger joint. Restrooms needed some updating and attention, but were clean and serviced. We liked the friendly feel and food at the Rodeo Bar and Grill and would recommend it to others--if we keep traveling to northeast Nebraska they may even learn our names.

Fancy hot pocket? No.) That said, Runza is a Nebraska staple and this location is the only one around unless you start traveling south and go towards bigger cities. I do like the burgers and chicken here. The fries are average. They don't come salted, which some people love. I do enjoy the ice cream/dessert options on the menu. The workers here are usually local high school and kids from the college. I've never had a bad experience with anyone. Always very polite, kind, and efficient. The 4 stars instead of 5 because it's really just another fast-food place, but if you've never experienced a Runza before, I urge you to try one. Especially if you're traveling through this town. It's super unique for the area because you'll need to drive a bit to find another one. (You can get a McD's or DQ anywhere.) They're dips are SO good. I wish I could order a bunch of their ranch to take home. LoL Never been inside. So no comments on that.
