Stopped here a few times, tons of parking, super convenient, clean restrooms, friendly staff, fair prices, hot food, great quality as expected. Would recommend, and will stop again, out of convenience and quality.

Quick stop from traveling 5hrs Went in was a bit packed but moved quickly ordered our food, got it pretty quick Went to the car was getting situated and a young man came and told us they accidentally gave us the wrong burger and told us to keep the other one! That was awesome the fact that they really cared enough to find us to fix it, amazing customer service The fries were delicious and so fresh crispy but soft perfectly salted And the burgers fresh and delicious Our ice cream was a bonus so good!

Not much to add beyond what others have said. No complaints. It was clean, bathrooms were decent, service was friendly, the food was good. This station is an oasis in the middle of nowhere so it was a welcome relief to be able to stop and get out of the car for a while.

Staff was courteous and efficient. Dining room was exceptionally clean. Hadn't been to DQ on a while, so I forgot how good the burgers are!

(4.25 STARS)…read more Memorial Day road trips always seem to create the best random discoveries, and Pit Stop Bar & Grill absolutely delivered. Tucked away off Victor Street in Barstow, this was a fun find while driving back to Los Angeles from Vegas over Memorial Day weekend. Big props to Haley M., who was basically running a one-woman show and somehow kept the entire place moving with a great attitude and solid service. That alone made the stop memorable. The location has a cool, laid-back vibe with plenty to keep people entertained while grabbing food and drinks. They've got two billiards tables, a dart board, and all kinds of classic bar games, board games, and card games, including UNO, which is a family favorite. They also have several televisions. The food was all good too. I really enjoyed the Green Chili Burger, and everyone else in my party seemed genuinely happy with their meals as well. I felt they were trying to nickel and dime when I got the bill, i was charged for a side of ranch, a side of BBQ, and had no idea I was being up charged for the onion rings. I didn't say a word, but it hit wrong with me. .75 points deducted. What especially stood out to me, though, was the Memorial Day place setting displayed near the front entrance honoring our veterans and fallen heroes. It was simple, respectful, and genuinely touching. See my picture. That detail said a lot about the heart behind this place. If you're making the Vegas-to-LA drive and want something more memorable than the usual freeway fast-food stop, this place is definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere, friendly energy, and one of those spots you end up talking about later.

Was told whole party had to be there and there was a 1:45 dining time limit, which seems reasonable as general policy but kind of stickler when there is no one at the restaurant. Told her we would def be out of there before 1:45 since we are just a family with young kids, host didn't care wouldnt seat us as a big group. But then since my daughter was super hungry I asked the hostess to seat us as a party of 2. She said there were no tables available even though half the restaurant was empty. She told us to go order at the bar and sit at the side bar area where there were some tables. I said sure, I ordered then the rest of my family showed up and they "seated" us exactly where I was sitting by giving us some menus. Then no one ever came to take our order so we left. Kiddos mac and cheese was solid. Mgmt at pappys please train your staff better.

I purchased beef jerky, chile lemon pistachios, chocolate covered gummy bears, roasted garbanzo beans, and tajin flavored pistachios. A little embarrassed to say but I did sample everything I purchased, during the car ride there. I will say this is a premium indulgence. I'm sure the prices reflect the gourmet quality. We will definitely make this a must stop, every time we drive to Vegas.

I've been fixing retail stores for many, many years. This place is 80-85% correct. Great store for candy, snacks, ice cream, coffee, nuts. I would skip the lunch. Not anything special. In such a wonderful store this is an oops. Some recommendations I understand your own the property next to the store. He should put some kind of a kids play area, couple rides or something. It's just minor rides just to keep the kids even more uninterested. And make it more of a destination. The main attraction is the many, many rows of bagged candy. Close to 1000. different candy's. Prices are fair. Not high not cheap. But the candy turnover must be so fast, it all must be do fresh. I like the red hot beans. But they ran out of them quite a bit. The candy part is fantastic. The service everywhere in the store was wonderful. Place is clean. To me this is close to a destination. You will find candy from your childhood candy you've never I have been in retail for over 40 years. And I could tell you one of these in an Orange County warehouse would be such a gold mine with the right manager. Funny people don't pay attention. All these cars were parked in the RV and bus parking. There are plenty of signs. People just don't pay attention and there were other parking spaces. Or people don't care. They have good coffee, great cuntom ice cream, a whole selection of bottle and cans drinks. Many coolers of soda. The beef jerky is top-notch a little spicy for me, but still very very good. The prices are fair a little bit high but fair the quality of the candy is excellent. They have interesting selection hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of candies. My only problem was the lunch place in the back. The food was terrible. The service was great. The place was clean, but the chicken sandwich. The burger is terrible. The salad was mediocre. Hamburger bacon and avocado was good. The meat was cooked correctly if that was a real problem. There's nothing creative there. There's nothing interesting there. It's just very boring very mediocre food at a place like this that should different. But, it is averagely prepared and basic. You could do so much with this.
