Careful when ordering food and they run out of something. They'll offer upgrades without notifying of the extra charges. Staff member may not be pleasant depending on their day. Hope not all employees are like that. read more

Why can't these guys ever fix their service? Waited well over a half hour in their drive through on a Sunday night. I was at the halfway point of a road trip and wanted a break, or I'd have never stuck around that long. I guess I really wanted some ice cream. Sat in the drive through for 30 minutes then finally got to the window just to see the high school kids messing around instead of making orders AND they didn't even give us the right blizzards that we had ordered. How many employees does it take to make a simple ice cream cone? Waited 20 minutes in line and at least 10 minutes in front of the window. It was so long our car overheated. I watched 6 people scurrying around doing nothing. He came to the window when we honked and told us the ice cream was solidifying. 7 min later no ice cream. Okay now they're socializing. Dairy Queen has great ice cream and lots of different flavors, but the Jerome location is always really slow. Today, the car in front of me in the drive through took 15-20 minutes for three ice creams! Much longer than usual! I remember when the Dairy Queen I used to go to in Georgia was the place to go prices were fair there especially for the food. The food was also fresh. The one in Jerome Idaho should be condemned. Not only are the prices outrageous the food is not good it's cold under cooked and it made me sick last night. I am over coming a stomach ache today to find out that. Also at the time before eating it our order was not completed. We got two less of everything and didn't even get our drink's with our meal's. How stupid do you honestly have to be. Waited 45 minutes in the drive thru. the line was wrapped around the building. Ok, we were patient. Ordered three blizzards and we got stuck behind a guy who Bought like 4 shakes. That's it. we waited for him to get those four shakes for at least ten minutes. Apparentmy they pre-made our blizzards. They were completely melted to the point that we could only drink them, and there was so much candy they were disgusting. So we wasted $17. There were at least 6 people working and they still couldn't get orders out. At one point four women were just standing and talking. I would go hungry AND without ice cream before I gave this location my business again. I don't know why the Arctic Circle closes at 9 on a Friday. If they were open they could have all the business from these clowns. Terrible location. Edit: Their tone deaf public relations team hopes I give them a second chance. Nope. It was THAT bad. First off the drive thru person doesn't know the menu. Ordered moolatte an she offered midnight mocha I had to reiterate like 5 times blended coffee drink. I finally got my order right and they forgot an item, my moolatte taste like a chocolate shake with ice chunks topped with dripping melted whip cream.no coffee taste what so ever. I have now tried this dairy queen 2 times to be utterly disappointed horrible. When ready had to tell them we wanted our order after it set up on the warmer for 5 min. while they filled the orders of customers that came in and ordered after we had. Cost- Very expensive. $12 for the new burger combo? No thank you. I can get an amazing burger combo at some of the best non-fast foodplaces in Portland, OR for less than that. On 3/27/2016 I took my kids through the drive through, It was about 5:00. We tried to order but the guy at the intercom kept getting it wrong. We ordered a crispy chicken sandwich combo with a small chocolate shake instead of a pop and then one of the burger combos. He kept asking us what kind of pop did we want, eventually a young woman took over and said that we owed $23. I asked her why it was so much and she said that the combo meals were expensive. The Meal's that were ordered were maybe $7 a piece. We left without our food. I was not impressed with the service and will not be going back. read more

I will give it one more star because the blizzard I got tasted great, but that doesn't make up for what we went through. Today, I went to Dairy Queen with my coworkers and got treated with the upmost disrespect from the employees there. I know me and my coworkers came in when they were 10 minutes until closing, but we literally rushed to get there after we closed the pool. So after we got to the place the first thing we hear is we are about to close. So we are denied service for an extra five minutes until they realize we are staying to eat. Then they denied us burgers, so we went with ice cream which is fine as well. However, we went to sit down and they turned the lights off on us. We asked to turn the lights back on, or at least where we were sitting, and several employees told us no and to confront the manager, but I could see she was already busy. So we went and ate our ice cream in the dark. We were out of there at 10:06. I am so sorry we made those employees stay an extra 6 minutes. read more
