Chicken strips were a little stale, I sat down at watch my food sit under the heat lamp for about five minutes before I had to walk up and ask if that was my food. Manager lily refused to give me a small side of ranch while the ranch I got for my four strips was only half way full. I can't believe after spending $12 on a 4 strip meal I can't get a FULL little saucer of ranch??? More than one of my group got food poisoning last week. We had a group of kids, and the staff were VERY reluctant to make our meals despite the fact we ordered beforehand and were there before closing. The WORST !! I placed an order via drive thru at 5:28pm. I was told to park in the side which is typical of dq. 20 mins pass and nothing. I go inside at 5:50 and ask about my order. "It is coming right up" I told an employee named Jose A (claims to be manager) I told him I will wait, thinking it will be 1 min or so. NOPE. My order had NOT be started on. I asked for a refund. Everyone was standing around with only 1 person dinning in. These workers need some training. My order was 1 hungerbuster, 1 dude combo fries with cheese, 1 small shake. AFTER I FINALLY receieved my refund on my card, Jose tells me I will charge you the $3.13 for shake. I had no problem paying for it. I have been stopping at this Dairy Queen in Dilley Tx for many years, the service has been a bit slower than other Dairy Queen's but, yesterday's stop was a really bad one, my hungerbuster's bread was just as hard as the table we were sitting at, when it was brought to a workers attention she said " they probably left the bag of bread open all night" Ok... I'm hungry I'll just let it go, wrong..... the meat was terrible over cooked and I had a bad stomach ache on my drive home, about 80 miles. I think I'm going to avoid this place from now on. If I could leave 0 stars I would. waited for 35 min for my order, I go inside and my order had been just sitting on the counter the entire time, asked for them to remake it and for a refund due to the fact that I had now been waiting for 50 min. Do yourself a favor and keep on driving... Rudest lady ever at this drive -thru. I ordered a small cup of ice cream and a large unsweet iced tea...she repeated back a large cone and a small sweet tea. Once we got this 'difficult' order figured out, she acted very irritated to serve me and when I paid, she informed me we were charged for a sundae since we didn't want the ice cream in a cone. This was for a toddler. Whatever...just get me out of here...I had to wait while they got my change (after she charged me excessively for a tiny ice cream in a huge sundae cup that I paid full full price for...then had to wait and ask for a straw...) at least fill the cup full...we could have gotten a Blizzard for less. Yes our service MAY be slow, but hey, it's because you guys love us enough to keep coming and filing up our drivethru. Our food is great. If we take a little bit on your order we are sorry. It takes a little bit to prepare each order right. Please keep in mind, we do make each order in the order the order was taken. When we pull you around it's to have you guy behind you pay. It's been a while since I've been to Dairy Queen and I got more than a Blizzard. Yet I stopped by on a lunch break and I got a chicken basket and let me just say it was AH-MAZ-ING! ^_^ I used to get these baskets all the time when I was a kid. Dairy Queen has not lost their touch! Only negatives to my visit was that the management was horrible of this location. I saw several patrons getting into it with the manager over incorrect food orders, forgotten orders, and very late orders! My order was one of the very late orders! So perhaps a little organization and people management could get the service to a better state. read more

We honestly only go here bc we like the food and it's one of only a few places in town to eat. However, the service is terrible! They have gotten our order wrong numerous times, you're asked to pull around to the other side of the building 95% of the time. They have forgotten to bring our order our several times, we go in and nobody apologizes they just say oh here it is, and it's obviously cold at that point. Going in and ordering really isn't any faster so might as well go through the drive through. On several occasions we have witnessed the ppl in front of us get to wait for their food at the window for up to 20 minutes and then we were immediately asked to pull around. the one good thing I can comment on is that the newest drive thru employee has been much friendlier than the ones we have had in the past. read more
