No idea why this place has bad reviews. The place was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and the food was fresh, didnt seem like it was premade like many fast food places. The parking lot was big and easily accessible which is rare it seems around these tourist towns. read more

If you want to stop by through town and you and the misses want to get a medium vanilla cone and a medium strawberry milkshake be prepared to spend close to $13! Yes $12.40 and then they want you to round up for some nonsense charity. The shake was not thick and there was plenty of space left in that cup. I actually had to slow down sipping on it so I did not finish before we even got to the Walmart! I will avoid DQ and save money. I'm tired of having to pay prices for subpar items. This should have been no more than $5-6! A soft serve on a plane cone should not be over $2!! We get it, prices usually never go down once they have them locked in. They won't be getting my business. $13? Ridiculous DQ. Do you not see you drive your customers away? read more

Surprised the workers aren't spitting in peoples burgers. 100%- they don't get drink orders properly. Thumbs down. read more

Every time I go to Dairy Queen I ordered a cherry dipped cone blizzard. This is not on the menu obviously but I've never had an employee at a Dairy Queen ever tell me that I can't get it or that it doesn't exist. I mean it's pretty simple you put the cherry dipped cone frosting into a cup with vanilla soft serve. Although after waiting in the drive-through for about 30 minutes, I asked for this at the intercom. Whoever was taking my order at the time responded extremely rudely and said "you cannot get that." I responded by saying " I have never been to a Dairy Queen that has told me I can't get that" and she said " well I don't know who made that for you, but you cannot get that" again extremely rudely instead of asking a co worker about it or her manager. I sure hope the manager isn't her. I told her " I do not respect your attitude and I hope you have a good night" and I drove away. I understand she may not have understood what I wanted to order because it's not actually on the menu but no employee should ever be rude to a customer for simply trying to order something. read more

My husband and I live in Silver Cliff Colorado a few days ago we were in Canon City Colorado we decided to stop in dairy Queen and get a vanilla cone I guess I should have said something when we were there but when the vanilla cones came to our table they weren't white in color they were beige in color and the ice cream wasn't creamy it was gritty like ice milk it was awful we were very disappointed . read more

Loved it in Florence, will never go back to the new location again after waiting over an hour and finally just got up and walked out. . . Too bad. read more

Every time I've been in the one in Canon City the stuff have been rude. No one seems to be cheerful. The service isn't top quality it's just ok. read more

This place has a OK atmosphere sometimes, but management and its workers are really bad, and rather vile and evil. My fries are so soggy and soft, the people working by the ice cream counter are whispering "we don't like you". Another time, I had $2 off coupon on the Ranchburger, and they couldn't even get that right. Learn to do better, or tell some of your staff to quit being rude. read more

The soft serve dipped cone is always so good . I am giving it a two star because the cashier was not wearing gloves and he collected our money and served us without gloves . So gross . He did have a mask on though . read more

Dairy Queen Grill & Chill - Fast Food Near Me - Canon City, Colorado

I camp and visit this store every time I and my family are in town. Food is always excellent! Service is excellent and the young staff are professional and friendly. The store is immaculate. I complimented the manager how impressed I was with how awesome the restroom was. read more

Got the food ordered fast. Took them fifty minutes to bring out food out to us. All it was a chicken strip basket, a number one not the combo, a cheese curds. A family of six a mother and her children received their food a minute after sitting down. The food was sitting on the back counter. The manger brought the food out. Never received my drink. The food was cold when we received it. And we never received our dipping sauces. Been here before to get food never once have they taken so long to get food out. They were not even busy when we were waiting for our food. read more

Don't use their mobile app and expect to get your order delivered curbside. It's only this option, or pick up inside for this location on their mobile app..unfortunately the there is no way to "check in" on their app when you arrive. It's only a designated sign. Saying "your order will be out soon." Well... 15 minutes of waiting, you realize these people are never coming out with your order. Today would have made it my 4th time of me placing an app order and waiting 15 minutes in the parking lot before I realized they really don't give a crap to bring out your order. So I have to go in myself to get my order. But not before asking the cashier, and then asking another one where my order was?? This company should Not offer curbside on their app. This was 20 minutes of my life wasted! I will never get it back. I was just sitting in my car with complete confusion and anxiety 15 mintes trying to make sure I'm not missing a "check in" button. No, their staff is not paying attention to curbside pre-orders. Just ignoring them. No one seems to be responsible for that area. And the staff was Not friendly..and looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. I was told "they didn't get my order." I showed them the receipt, then they searched frantically to find my order. they found it eventually. Constantly being ignored at the curbside for 15 to 20 minutes after I placed an order 20 minutes prior to that? That had me waiting 45 minutes for a 2 item order. It's Not acceptable. It's ridiculous!. Very disappointed read more

Terrible customer service. Called on 9/30 to order an ice cream cake over the phone. The girl I talked to gave me the excuse that there was nobody there and that they were in the middle of their lunch rush to take an order over the phone then hung up. I called back three hours later to order my ice cream cake again and a different girl answered saying there was nobody there to take my order, I asked to speak to the manager and then she hung up. Do not order any ice cream cakes over the phone since the staff is incompetent and have piss poor people skills. It makes me wonder how they are at running the register and preparing food if they can't even take an order over the phone free ice cream cake read more

Price gouges and owner forces employees to serve ice cream portions very small and far less than DQ standard to maximize profit by shorting customers. If you ask for the almost double price treats to be remade with appropriate amount of ice cream, when manager or owner is there, they will refuse. I love DQ banana splits and occasionally get a medium cone. They tried giving me a baby sized cone when I just paid for an overpriced medium cone. I politely asked for it to be made with the appropriate amount of ice cream and they insisted it was the right size. So I just asked for my money back. I stopped ordering banana splits because they consistently put a single ounce of ice cream under each of 3 toppings. It was quite literally 6 small bites of ice cream in the entire dessert. And cost $8. After the cone incident I stopped going altogether. But always go to DQ outside of Canon City. I feel bad for the employees who have to deal with upset customers. read more

HORRIBLE!! The people inside don't give a shit about you even when you ask a question they will lie!! We brought our food back it was so bad. Ordered two flamethrowers both didn't have bacon didn't have 2 patties. Asked for marinara sauce specifically twice. Once at the menu sign the other at the window. Young teen female that don't care about her job told us the marinara was in there. It wasn't!! I won't be back!! They don't care, even when they only have the freaking window to deal with. read more
