Dairy Queen in Burleson Tx. Is fairly new to the area and is a friendly restaurant with an upscale look. I ordered the Chicken Strip Combo through the drive-thru. There were 2 cars ahead of me but the wait was not bad. I pulled to the side and order was brought out within 5 minutes from a sweet young lady. She did not want her picture taken and ask if she would be paid. I giggled and politely said no.. Took the order home and enjoyed my meal, which was good. Fresh hot fries & chicken fingers with a toasted slice of bread cut in half, with a large root beer (my favorite). I did not enter establishment so I have no details of the inside. The exterior was clean and had outdoor seating. Plenty of parking even handicap parking. I do recommend DQ and will be going back for another meal or one of their desserts. read more

I remember coming here when I was four with my grandpa and grandma. This place may not look the best, the service could use some work, and the fries have too much salt, but I still like it. This 5 star goes out to Aiden! I'm not sure if that's how their name is spelled but my second to last visit here the window worker forgot my blizzard that I was really looking forward to! I just went again tonight and similarly the window worker forgot 2 drinks I ordered! We decided to drive back this time and it was Aiden at the window! They recognized us as regulars to this specific Dq that we've gone to for years! Okay so I always go to the Joshua DQ cause it's closer to my house. Well we passed this one & decided to get ice cream. I asked for a blizzard with extra fudge for my spouse. Get to the window, instantly can tell this lady is in a mood. So she hands me a dang vanilla blizzard with cookie dough. I said politely, "this was supposed to have extra fudge." She looked at it, YELLED across the store "does this have extra fudge" & then looked at me & said "it does." Like no it clearly has NO fudge, Def not extra. I went to the drive trough they a they didn't act like pm time from me. For a medium extra thick chocolate shake with no toppings. I know they make chocolate shakes with vanilla ice cream and add the syrup. Every Dairy Queen does it the same. I used to work at one. I have been to this one several times, and I thought they were just being lazy but again they just put in chocolate ice cream put a little milk and swirls it around And handed it to me and it cost me almost 5 bucks for a medium. I threw it out. I would love to get my money back from them. Great little spot. Had our food within minutes. One of the workers, Christy, was extra helpful and gave us extra napkins, ketchup, new lids when ours fell, etc. they have a small outside seating area and although the playground is boarded up (because of COVID) it was a perfect place for our family with 3 toddlers to stop and do lunch. Just wanted to shout out the Burleson DQ, and especially the manager, who was super nice to us! Yesterday we went in to celebrate my daughter's first successful shoe tying, and my seven year old daughter said something to the manager (who was taking our order) about how pretty she was, or something like that, and they just started chatting. The manager was very helpful and even gave us a free Blizzard. It was a very good experience. Oh, and our Blizzards had lots of stuff in them! Which is always nice. I hate it when I lose the Blizzard lottery and get a Blizzard with almost nothing. Lol. So, yeah. Very happy with this DQ. I've been in several times, and the staff seem generally friendlier and more helpful there than at the other local DQs. Somebody is doing something right. read more

My family and I are in from out of town and love Dairy Queen. We live in Southern California and I have the app with the deals preloaded. We visited this location tonight for a treat before our next stop in Texas. It was the 3 of us and our dog. The assistant manager, Leticia, I believe? Was fantastic. She offered us a "pup cup" for our dog which we haven't even heard of back home and she went above and beyond to find a way to honor the deal on the mobile app even though the DQ app says the location doesn't accept mobile deals because it made me redeem it in order to get the code. This is an okay Dairy Queen. Twice I have ordered a Blizzard with nuts in it, and have bit into a shell. One time it severely cut my mouth. I have come here since when craving a blizzard, but I make sure to not order nuts, they must get a very cheap quality from their supplier. It is easy to access since it is on a stoplight corner, but if the drive thru has more than a few cars in it, it will back up into a very busy road. I rarely get food other than ice cream here, so I cannot comment on that. read more

This is the cleanest Dairy Queen dining area I have ever seen. Also, every single time I have been inside, gone through the drive thru, or ordered by phone I have been impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. It is so much different from what I have come to expect of fast food establishments it is impossible to not notice how well trained their staff seems to be. This is a very well managed business, and being a business owner myself I am aware that this level of customer service doesn't happen accidentally. There are arguably the worst employees here, the past 3 times I've been here they have messed up on our orders. One time I had ordered something with all chocolate, it had vanilla inside for some reason. I have refrained from putting a review last time but now I can not handle it. There service could be at least a little better. Mabey listening more could help. Overall I have been going here my whole life and the total quality has gone down by a mile. Also we have gotten a beverage and it didnt taste proper at all. It tasted like water with sugar in it and slightly carbonated. It was a dr. pepper if you where wondering. Conclusion: Dont go there for cold refreshment of any sorts. Just go to the other places such as Brahms which is 2 or 3 minutes down the road down Wilshire. read more

We stopped by tonight to grab a quick blizzard. When we arrived, we noticed that they intended to close at 8P for their employee Christmas party. It was 7:52pm, so I figured we would take them to go. We were rudely told that they were closed and that we should leave. When I pointed out that their own sign said that they were open for 8 more minutes, we were rudely informed that all of the registers were already closed anyway. I should point out that this is not the closest DQ to our house but we have been coming here for several years because we were always treated nice. Average food here. There was a short time when I think the last time they had changed the frying oil was right after the titanic sunk but seems they've corrected. Ordered my food here and when I got home ( 15 mins away) I had noticed that they forgot part of my order which at that point wasnt a big deal. But when I go to get my food the burger I ordered was wrong and there was a strand of hair in the food pretty much making me waste money. I called the store and no one answered. So I called again. From this point the management handle everything and was sorry about the order being wrong and which the refunded and remade the food. But again had to drive all in all an hour to get there and back when if the food was just made right the first time wouldn't have been a problem. read more
