Dairy Queen in Burleson Tx. Is fairly new to the area and is a friendly restaurant with an upscale look. I ordered the Chicken Strip Combo through the drive-thru. There were 2 cars ahead of me but the wait was not bad. I pulled to the side and order was brought out within 5 minutes from a sweet young lady. She did not want her picture taken and ask if she would be paid. I giggled and politely said no.. Took the order home and enjoyed my meal, which was good. Fresh hot fries & chicken fingers with a toasted slice of bread cut in half, with a large root beer (my favorite). I did not enter establishment so I have no details of the inside. The exterior was clean and had outdoor seating. Plenty of parking even handicap parking. I do recommend DQ and will be going back for another meal or one of their desserts. read more

Nice people working the counter, ordered the steak finger basket, only good part was the toast, all barley warm, been setting, just old frozen steak fingers, also had a ice cream cone, tasted different than other DQ's , I will not be back to this DQ read more

I visit this location pretty frequently and am almost always happy with my experience! Today I received wonderful customer service through the drive through! Artis was attentive and kind in helping navigate me through the menu and what's offered v. what's not as well as helping me make modifications to my order! Great experience. read more

Sooo disappointedwas so looking forward to the chicken n dumplings. But what I got was more like chicken little and noodles

You know, as a reviewer who has a different view than other people I sometimes find my self biased by memories or smth else. So this place falls into that category. I remember coming here when I was four with my grandpa and grandma. This place may not look the best, the service could use some work, and the fries have too much salt, but I still like it. The chicken tenders were good and the iced Dr Pepper was good. read more

I don't know what happened to the DQ. Tonight food was slow, undercooked chicken, and the dining room was chaotic and dirty. Food was sitting under the lamp while people are standing at the counter waiting for it. read more

This 5 star goes out to Aiden! I'm not sure if that's how their name is spelled but my second to last visit here the window worker forgot my blizzard that I was really looking forward to! I just went again tonight and similarly the window worker forgot 2 drinks I ordered! We decided to drive back this time and it was Aiden at the window! They recognized us as regulars to this specific Dq that we've gone to for years! When we told them about the last issue and similar occurrence this time, they corrected it all instantly and did so with the same sweet and respectful demeanor that they always carry when we see them!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH AIDEN, YOU ROCK!!! read more

Everything was well.I ordered the pumpkin blizzard. It was very tasty and I really enjoy eating it.Unfortunately, when I ordered the tacos, it was really soggy, and I understand sometimes fast food make certain foods and leave them out under warmers and stuff.I just felt like mine was left out before it was given to me.But other than that, it was still pretty tasty. read more

This was the chicken sandwich I was served. It was dry, hard, thin, and had a terrible smell. It came on wet, soggy bread. read more

Dairy Queen - How could anyone serve a human being that - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Burleson, Texas

Food was great. Hot and fresh. Restaurant was clean. Customer service was impeccable. The young man name Aaron is a great asset to this location. He was taking orders, restocking & cleaning. We witnessed him deal with a "Karen" type customer with such professionalism. This will be our "goto" location from now on. It is so refreshing to see a young man have pride in not only himself but his work ethic. read more

We go here semi regularly, the food is consistently good considering it is take out and the blizzards are my favorite but I'm trying to be better so I didn't get one today. I tried their nachos and I have to say they were pretty good, I appreciated the jalapenos and the nacho cheese. I would get them again. read more

Your order is always right the food is great. I have no complaints with this location. The staff are hit and miss. Some of them are super sweet summer directed to the point but overall their food is one of the best. They're drive in is very complicated to get into, and my wife keeps curving my escalades rims? Very frustrating. read more

I just went through the drive-thru and they got my order wrong. OK, not the best thing, but when I corrected the lady at the window she sighed loudly and rolled she eyes. Are you kidding me? No apology for getting the order wrong and then there was a bad attitude. Poor experience! read more

Dq its too hot to have them poor kids in the sun. People can wait in their ac cars to order ‍

I went today to get food for my family and told them 3 times unsweetened tea with extra ice and I got how and we got sweet tea. This is the 5th time it has happened! And I don't know if I'm gonna go back read more

Okay so I always go to the Joshua DQ cause it's closer to my house. Well we passed this one & decided to get ice cream. I asked for a blizzard with extra fudge for my spouse. Get to the window, instantly can tell this lady is in a mood. So she hands me a dang vanilla blizzard with cookie dough. I said politely, "this was supposed to have extra fudge." She looked at it, YELLED across the store "does this have extra fudge" & then looked at me & said "it does." Like no it clearly has NO fudge, Def not extra. Then she proceeds to shut the window on me. Like okay girl. Probably shouldn't be working the window with that attitude. read more

Just picked up a 6 pc chicken strip basket. Very disappointed, nothing freshly prepared. Everything must have been sitting around a good while. Greasy and stale. One bite, threw it in the trash! Headed to Burly Bird ! read more

Rude! So very rude. The little girl working the drive thru yelled at me to hurry and order??? With a full drive thru line. Trash . Have your employees treat customers with respect. read more

I went to the drive trough they a they didn't act like pm time from me. For a medium extra thick chocolate shake with no toppings. I know they make chocolate shakes with vanilla ice cream and add the syrup. Every Dairy Queen does it the same. I used to work at one. I have been to this one several times, and I thought they were just being lazy but again they just put in chocolate ice cream put a little milk and swirls it around And handed it to me and it cost me almost 5 bucks for a medium. I threw it out. I would love to get my money back from them. I will never go back to this one ever again if I have to cross town to get something I will get it, this dairy queen has gone downhill and these people do not give one care about the customers read more

I just had my son go to this dairy queen in Burleson , Texas to get us a couple of burgers after a long days work. He returned moments later with cold burgers , cold fries and they didn't give him my chocolate shake which he had to return to get ...Very UNHAPPY with this Crew of Workers , no effort, no concern for the products they serve. read more

Great little spot. Had our food within minutes. One of the workers, Christy, was extra helpful and gave us extra napkins, ketchup, new lids when ours fell, etc. they have a small outside seating area and although the playground is boarded up (because of COVID) it was a perfect place for our family with 3 toddlers to stop and do lunch. Thanks DQ! read more

This is an okay Dairy Queen. Twice I have ordered a Blizzard with nuts in it, and have bit into a shell. One time it severely cut my mouth. I have come here since when craving a blizzard, but I make sure to not order nuts, they must get a very cheap quality from their supplier. It is easy to access since it is on a stoplight corner, but if the drive thru has more than a few cars in it, it will back up into a very busy road. I rarely get food other than ice cream here, so I cannot comment on that. read more

Just wanted to shout out the Burleson DQ, and especially the manager, who was super nice to us! Yesterday we went in to celebrate my daughter's first successful shoe tying, and my seven year old daughter said something to the manager (who was taking our order) about how pretty she was, or something like that, and they just started chatting. The manager was very helpful and even gave us a free Blizzard. It was a very good experience. Oh, and our Blizzards had lots of stuff in them! Which is always nice. I hate it when I lose the Blizzard lottery and get a Blizzard with almost nothing. Lol. So, yeah. Very happy with this DQ. I've been in several times, and the staff seem generally friendlier and more helpful there than at the other local DQs. Somebody is doing something right. read more

My family and I are in from out of town and love Dairy Queen. We live in Southern California and I have the app with the deals preloaded. We visited this location tonight for a treat before our next stop in Texas. It was the 3 of us and our dog. The assistant manager, Leticia, I believe? Was fantastic. She offered us a "pup cup" for our dog which we haven't even heard of back home and she went above and beyond to find a way to honor the deal on the mobile app even though the DQ app says the location doesn't accept mobile deals because it made me redeem it in order to get the code. Made our night to have our favorite DQ treats and even better with top notch customer service! Thank you! read more

Food here is delicious! Ice cream very soft and delicious! Prices are a bit high but it's not crazy high. The chicken tenders are so good and very well seasoned.fries are good and toast is yummy . Staff is very friendly,Nice and helpful and polite. The employees there are so well trained and nice . I always go there and I recommend this place to family and friends !:) read more

This is the cleanest Dairy Queen dining area I have ever seen. Also, every single time I have been inside, gone through the drive thru, or ordered by phone I have been impressed by the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. It is so much different from what I have come to expect of fast food establishments it is impossible to not notice how well trained their staff seems to be. This is a very well managed business, and being a business owner myself I am aware that this level of customer service doesn't happen accidentally. Thank you DQ for consistently exceeding my expectations. read more

WTF this place is wack. Its 10 PM you dont close till 11 and you turn off your ice cream machine already...super dumb.

There are arguably the worst employees here, the past 3 times I've been here they have messed up on our orders. One time I had ordered something with all chocolate, it had vanilla inside for some reason. I have refrained from putting a review last time but now I can not handle it. There service could be at least a little better. Mabey listening more could help. Overall I have been going here my whole life and the total quality has gone down by a mile. Also we have gotten a beverage and it didnt taste proper at all. It tasted like water with sugar in it and slightly carbonated. It was a dr. pepper if you where wondering. Conclusion: Dont go there for cold refreshment of any sorts. Just go to the other places such as Brahms which is 2 or 3 minutes down the road down Wilshire. read more

I woke up early in the morning and craved a juicy burger. Good place to grab burgers in the morning since most places only have breakfast menus in the mornings. Quick service too! read more

I ordered the steak finger basket. l love DQ french fries. The steak fingers were formed greasy ground meat--certainly no steak in there. They were inedible. I took them home. My husband said he would eat them later--he can eat anything--but not the DQ steakfingers. He would not even feed them to the dog. read more

We stopped by tonight to grab a quick blizzard. When we arrived, we noticed that they intended to close at 8P for their employee Christmas party. It was 7:52pm, so I figured we would take them to go. We were rudely told that they were closed and that we should leave. When I pointed out that their own sign said that they were open for 8 more minutes, we were rudely informed that all of the registers were already closed anyway. I should point out that this is not the closest DQ to our house but we have been coming here for several years because we were always treated nice. I guess it is time for my family to find a different DQ to frequent. BTW - we had ice cream from Sonic tonight. read more

I ordered fries here this afternoon. They were barely warm, hard and they emptied their fry pan for my order.

Average food here. There was a short time when I think the last time they had changed the frying oil was right after the titanic sunk but seems they've corrected. One thing I do like is the young kids that they hire are courteous which is sometimes a new concept these days. If the rating would let me I would have given 2 & a half stars instead of 3. read more
