The hash browns were preformed patties, my jalapeños were on the side, and we were not provided any ketchup or Tabasco or salsa for seasoning our meal. The slices of Texas toast were accompanied by a small cup of grape jelly. The overall meal for both of us was only $17 but with the time it took, mediocre food, and lack of service we would have been better eating at the All sups gas station next door.

Inside, it was packed with people, including a local rancher buying lunch for the cowhands working her ranch. That's a big endorsement in my book. Orders were written down by hand and the money was collected by a sweet, friendly woman who grew up when the world wasn't so uptight and fast. Bless her heart for sticking to her pace.
